  • First Leaked Images of LEGO NINJAGO 71859 The Dragon of Life | January 2026

The first leaked images of LEGO NINJAGO 71859 The Dragon of Life have emerged, giving fans their first look at one of the more expensive and most anticipated sets releasing for the theme on the 1st of January 2026. With 1,050 pieces retailing for $109.99 / €99.99 / £89.99, the 8+ build adds to the ever-growing collection of extremely detailed brick-built dragons, likely based on the upcoming fourth season of Dragons Rising. The Dragon of Life is a large, majestic creature built from an earthy palette of greens, browns and dark greys, giving it a natural, ancient look. The body is long and heavily articulated with a posable jaw, head, neck, legs, ankle, claws and tail. Its wings, made from printed plastic pieces representing leaves, can also fold inward or unfurl dramatically outward, supported by LEGO Technic ball joints. The overall build is somewhat similar to 2024's 71822 Source Dragon of Motion in terms of its shaping, scale and sharp golden claws. They contrast nicely with the mainly brown and green dragon body, with a tan coloured belly. The head is basically entirely brown with horns that resemble branches, while the back legs are grey, likely representing rock work with a couple of hints of mossy green. Away from the Dragon of Life, a small environmental side build is also included, representing a patch of forest. This includes a thin brick-built tree and a plant structure which can be spun to reveal a hidden golden sword. Unsurprisingly, a brick-built mech has also crept its way into 71859, which appears in an earthy colour scheme and includes a cockpit with space for a single LEGO Minifigure . And talking about Minifigures, the $110 set includes a total of eight LEGO NINJAGO -themed characters. These include ninja Zane, Sora, Arin, dragon form Lloyd, and dragon form Cole, along with the villainous trio of Acid Monster, Earth Monster and Loyalist Leader. One of these Minifigures can even be placed on the Dragon of Life, which has a built-in saddle for further playability. 71859 The Dragon of Life Set Name - The Dragon of Life Set Number - 71859 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 1,050 Price - $109.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 71859 The Dragon of Life releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? • LEGO NINJAGO 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary Officially Revealed | January 2026

The celebrations have begun for the LEGO NINJAGO theme with today's official reveal showcasing one of the many sets headlining the brand's 15th anniversary celebrations: 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary. The 14+ model is a highly detailed display and play set, featuring 1,259 pieces and six Minifigures retailing for just $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99. The anniversary-branded model takes inspiration from one of the most iconic early LEGO NINJAGO  locations - the blacksmith's forge from the pilot episode of the popular TV series. This is where the Four Golden Weapons were first created, and having only appeared in brick-built LEGO form just once before with 2011's 2508 Blacksmith Shop, it is the perfect nostalgic model of the theme's big birthday. The overall set measures over 7 inches (18 cm) high, 9 inches (23 cm) wide and 6 inches (16 cm) deep , depicting a traditional Japanese-inspired wooden structure with curved roofing and a couple of hanging lights. The shop somewhat expands across two storeys, with the ground floor being dedicated to the forge itself and a bedroom, whilst the upper area/attic stores a ninja mask and helmet. The forge section of the build includes an anvil along with weapons, tools and a blue phone hanging on the wall. Opposite this is a bedroom with a small bed, a couple of hanging photos and more weapons on display. The interior is fully accessible as hinge connections allow the Four Weapons Blacksmith to be opened up. Behind those previously mentioned helmet and hood displays, builders can push out a sign to reveal the golden weapons map. Along with this extremely detailed 14+ build, a total of six Minifigures are included. These are Blacksmith Kai, Maya, Nya, Master Wu, Ray and Elemental Master of Earth. The latter LEGO Minifigure  is one of seven exclusive LEGO NINJAGO 15th anniversary Minifigures  releasing in 2026 and includes a small stand which can be connected to the other six Minifigures, which await us next year. 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary Set Name - Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary Set Number - 71858 Age Range - 14+ Piece Count - 1,259 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? • LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Rumoured January 2026 Sets

2025 has been a significant year for racing, with the LEGO Speed Champions theme experiencing its biggest year to date in terms of set releases. Additionally, LEGO has entered an exciting multi-year partnership with Formula 1, and LEGO Super Mario has expanded into Mario Kart. However, in 2026, another gaming theme will be revving its engines, with two LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets set to release in January, most likely inspired by the upcoming Sonic Racing CrossWorlds videogame. 77117 Sonic's Car Just like LEGO Super Mario released a classic Mario Kart car with 72032 Mario Kart - Standard Kart, LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog will also be launching a standard yet iconic vehicle for the Blue Blur. 77117 Sonic's Car will likely recreate the blue and silver "Sonic Speedster", the same one that appeared in LEGO Dimensions, but this time in a more detailed and appropriate Minifigure scale. Set Name - Sonic's Car Set Number - 77117 Age Range- 6+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77118 Silver's Car vs Knuckles' Monster Truck The more expensive of the two LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets releasing on the 1st of January 2026 is 77118 Silver's Car vs Knuckles' Monster Truck. • LEGO Icons 11371 2026 Modular Building Rumoured For January 2026

The ever-popular LEGO Modular Building Collection continues to go from strength to strength, as following on from this year's 10350 Tudor Corner , a brand new Modular Building will be launching on the 1st of January 2026. Reportedly coming under the set number 11371, this latest addition to the long-running LEGO Icons line will include a total of 3,456 pieces retailing for $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99. Even though no set name has been confirmed for the 2026 model, current rumours suggest that the brand new modular could take the form of a music and furniture store combination. If these rumours prove true, we may see the build split into two distinct yet complementary halves. The ground floor might feature the furniture store, with large display windows showing off brick-built chairs, tables, and lamps to passing minifigures. Inside, shelving units, a sales counter, and even a mock showroom layout could bring the interior to life. The upper floors, meanwhile, could be dedicated to the music store, perhaps recreating a classic, retro record shop in brick-built LEGO. Rows of printed tile “records,” miniature guitars, drum kits, and even a brick-built piano could fill the space, along with posters referencing some of the most famous artists in LEGO city. Right at the top of the build, like most previous LEGO Modular interpretations, a small apartment or studio space may be included. While the smallest and most compact floor, it will still be very homely and likely the living quarters for the shopkeeper or a musician's practice space, for example. A rooftop terrace would add further unique features to 2026's Modular Building and a strong contrast to this year's Tudor-themed model. 11371 LEGO Icons 2026 Modular Building Set Name - LEGO Icons 2026 Modular Building Set Number - 11371 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,456 Price - $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 11371 2026 Modular Building releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10371 in a few months time? What do you hope the brand new LEGO Modular Building is? What other Modular Buildings do you own? • LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz 40884 Drift & Raven Figures Officially Revealed | October 2025

It's a brand-new month, and the LEGO Group is already treating us to official reveals of various upcoming LEGO sets. The first of these is a brand-new LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz, following on from last month's promotional model of 40760 Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader . However, unlike 40760, the officially presented 40884 Drift & Raven Figures will be available in normal distribution, starting from the 1st of October 2025, retailing for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 and including a total of 280 pieces. The double pack obviously includes the two characters, Raven and Drift. The Legendary outfit belonging to Raven is known for its dark, ominous look, which is translated here into LEGO BrickHeadz  form. The character is predominantly black with hints of purple, navy blue and pink, along with glowing purple eyes, which surprisingly don't use the conventional BrickHeadz 1x1 eyes. Drift, on the other hand, another legendary outfit, is a colourful contrast with his signature fox mask and streetwear-inspired outfit. The BrickHeadz version focuses on the unique white and gold mask, covering the character's face and pink hood. The character's torso includes more elements of pink, white and gold, whilst a single accessory of a grey pickaxe is also included for this brick-built interpretation of Drift. 40884 Drift & Raven Figures Set Name - Drift & Raven Figures Set Number - 40884 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 280 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st October 2025 40884 Drift & Raven Figures releases on the 1st of October 2025, but what do you think? • LEGO Speed Champions January 2026 Sets Officially Revealed

The LEGO Speed Champions  theme kicked off the 2026 reveals all the way back in September, but now, amongst many other LEGO themes, we have official images of all six sets releasing on the 1st of January 2026. The three sets that we previously didn't have official presentations of are the three non-movie cars, which include 77253 Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale and 77257 McLaren W1. 77252 APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie The first entry on this list sees the LEGO Speed Champions  theme start 2026 in the exact same way it started 2025 - with a Formula 1-branded model. 77252, however, is also a movie-inspired car as it's based on the APXGP F1 team that is the spotlight of the popular F1 The Movie. LEGO interpretations of Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce are both included in the 10+ model, which retails for the standard Speed Champions price of $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. Set Name - APXGP Team Race Car from F1 The Movie Set Number - 77252 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 268 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77253 Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo 77253 brings the sleek and futuristic Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo to brick-built LEGO form. The real car combines a more modern, trendy design with classic Bugatti elements, such as the horseshoe-shaped grille and a powerful W16 engine. The LEGO version cleverly captures these elements in the standard eight-stud wide format, retailing for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99,  with 284 pieces included. Set Name - Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Set Number - 77253 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 284 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale The Ferrari SF90 Stradale combines hybrid power with track-oriented performance to create, what the Italian manufacturer is calling, "the most efficient aerodynamic performance of any Ferrari road car". Now this very special Sports Car is appearing in brick-built LEGO form on the 1st of January 2026 in the signature Ferrari red colour scheme and including a total of 339 pieces retailing for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99. The iconic racing character has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form before, particularly with 2011's 8484 Ultimate Build Lightning McQueen. That build was 10 studs wide, a lot less sleek in design and didn't get the proportions exactly right compared to this 270-piece 2026 version. Set Name - Lightning McQueen Set Number - 77255 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 270 Price - $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77256 Back to the Future: The DeLorean Another movie car, meanwhile, takes us for a ride through time with 77256 Back to the Future: The DeLorean. Just like 77255 Lightning McQueen, the DeLorean has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form, most recently as a display-worthy LEGO Icons  model of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine . In 2026, however, the DeLorean will be completely Minifigure scale, including exclusive versions of both Doc Brown and Marty McFly . Set Name - Back to the Future: The DeLorean Set Number - 77256 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 357 Price - $27.99 / €26.99 / £22.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 77257 McLaren W1 Last but not least is another sleek, futuristic supercar from one of the world's most well-known manufacturers. 77257 McLaren W1 retails for $27.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 with 287 pieces included and recreates some of the vehicle's most iconic and aggressive features, which makes it the fastest-accelerating, fastest-lapping, road-legal McLaren ever produced.
