The 25th of October 2025 marks 16 years since the sheep was first revealed in Minecraft, and to mark the occasion, the LEGO Group have officially revealed the next wave of sets based on the blocky video game. In particular, a total of eight LEGO Minecraft sets have been presented, all releasing on the 1st of January 2026. Another eight models are also expected to be released throughout the rest of the new year, including two more in March.
21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure
Our first set is the standard entry-level set with 21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure retailing for $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99. As the name suggests, the 79-piece model will recreate a very small section of the Taiga biome, covered with snow and including a distinctive spruce tree. The build may be small, but for the price, we get a lot of mobs: Steve is included as a LEGO Minifigure along with a Creeper, a fox and a baby bunny.

This time, 233 pieces are used to recreate a small farm and brick-built coop shaped exactly like a chicken with moveable wings and a pen at the front with an opening gate.
