- LEGO Officially Teases 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops For June 2026
Another day and another piece of LEGO Jurassic World news, as the LEGO Group has once again officially teased/unofficially revealed another model for the licensed LEGO theme. In particular, this is 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops, which, after being teased in a teaser of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler , has been further revealed along with the first images of the 18+ models' box art. The tease itself has appeared on LEGO's official Instagram page and is somewhat more of an actual reveal, even though we're still awaiting official images of the 2026 model. The video recreates some archaeologists carefully brushing 1x1 LEGO studs representing dirt off of some brick-built bone structure. As more brown dirt is removed, we start to see a structure form, which becomes instantly reminiscent of the legendary Triceratops dinosaur. Releasing on the 1st of June 2026, 77985 is a follow-up to last year's extremely popular 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex , but obviously focusing on the literal, anatomical representation of a Triceratops skeleton seen in the cleverly designed social media clip. 2025's T. rex was constructed in an impressive 1:12 scale, and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops continues that scale, but is naturally smaller as a brick-built LEGO set, just like the real prehistoric creature was. This is reflected in a much smaller piece count and a lower price of 1,154 pieces retailing for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 but with still just as much accuracy and detail. The adult-focused museum-style display piece is built primarily from tan elements to represent aged bone. The structure is anchored by a sturdy, internal spine connected to a ribcage utilising multiple curved slopes. The sturdy internal frame, similar in complexity to that of the T. rex, also includes the dinosaur's ribcage and vertebrae. The four legs of the creature are slightly thicker than those of 2025's Tyrannosaurus rex, while the tail tapers off with smaller, articulated segments. But the most prominent and detailed part of the build is the massive skull of the Triceratops, which features a large, fan-like bony frill. This is somewhat similar to the currently available 76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull , but with more of a heavy focus on the dinosaur's three distinct horns: two long ones above the eye sockets and a shorter one on the snout. Additionally, there is plenty of movement and posability here as builders can adjust the position of the head and open and close the mouth. The $100 model is then complete with an 18+ museum-like black display stand and a printed information plaque. The display stand is more unique than the classic black ones we see in the LEGO Icons theme, for example, as it includes a small environment section similar to what the actual Triceratops used to live in many, many years ago. A single LEGO Minifigure can also be found displayed here of the Chief Veterinarian of Jurassic Park, Gerry Harding, with exclusive face printing and a printed Jurassic Park cap. 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Name - Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Set Number - 77985 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,154 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? - First Images of LEGO Jurassic World 77985 Triceratops Skeleton | June 2026
Following on from yesterday's surprising and unexpected tease/unofficial reveal of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler , we're looking at our second LEGO Jurassic World set of 2026 and another 18+ model for the theme. The set itself is 77985 Triceratops Skeleton, which we already have our first very grainy look at as a tease inside the social media tease of May 2026's 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler . The first image of 77985 Triceratops Skeleton was a clever Easter Egg hidden in plain sight within yesterday's promotional Instagram video . In the opening shots, there is a sign for a LEGO store, interestingly placed on Isla Nublar. The sign is also advertising a 'NEW' set, which looks exactly like the rumoured 77985 Triceratops Skeleton that is scheduled to release on the 1st of June 2026. The 18+ model is a follow-up to last year's extremely popular 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex , but obviously focusing on a literal, anatomical representation of a Triceratops Skeleton. 2025's T. rex was constructed in an impressive 1:12 scale, and 77985 Triceratops Skeleton looks to continue that scale, but is naturally smaller as a brick-built LEGO set, just like the real prehistoric creature was. This is reflected in a much smaller piece count and a lower price of 1,154 pieces retailing for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99. But the most prominent and detailed part of the build is the massive skull of the Triceratops, which features a large, fan-like bony frill. This will likely be very similar to the currently available 76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull , but with more of a heavy focus on the dinosaur's three distinct horns: two long ones above the eye sockets and a shorter one on the snout. - LEGO Officially Teases 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler For May 2026
Yesterday we were heading to outer space with the reveal of the LEGO Ideas model 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket , but today the LEGO Group have officially teased the latest prehistoric set and the first LEGO Jurassic World branded build of 2026. In particular, this is 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, releasing on the 15th of May 2026 as our first Jurassic World set since last summer's six Jurassic World Rebirth -inspired builds. The tease itself has appeared on LEGO's official Instagram page and is somewhat more of an actual reveal, even though we're still awaiting official images of the 2026 model. The video recreates the Dennis Nedry scene where he's trying to escape the island, but instead of the Barbasol can, he's making off with the actual LEGO set of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler. This gives us a good look at the build of 77984, which is a large-scale, detailed recreation of the iconic Jeep Wrangler in its usual light grey colour scheme with red accents. The hood displays the designation JP12, a reference to the vehicle numbers used in the park and clearly signifying that this is Nedry's escape jeep. This unfortunately looks to be stickered along with the number 12 and the Jurassic Park logo found on the Jeep's doors. The LEGO Jeep Wrangler is built on the same scale as previous large LEGO Icons vehicles, meaning that its 1,924 pieces recreate a build with a similar level of detail and functionality. The doors on either side of the vehicle can be opened to reveal an interior with seats, a steering wheel and a small dashboard. The steering wheel looks to be part of the usual mechanism, moving the large wheels found at the front of the brick-built vehicle. The 18+ set also features a beige soft top at the rear of the Jeep, utilising a specific LEGO fabric piece with visible mounting points. A light bar with four lamps is located near to this soft top feature, while a working wrench can be found mounted to the front of the Jeep Wrangler. The iconic model can even be rebuilt in three different ways to represent three of the different cars from the popular Jurassic movies. Retailing for $199.99 / €199.99 / £179.99, 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler also included an appropriately scaled side build. This is an Isla Nublar road sign with printed words 'East Dock' along with an arrow and a map of the island. That's connected to a LEGO white lampost element, which is then placed on a small display base with some jungle plants and scenery. 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler Set Name - Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler Set Number - 77984 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,924 Price - $199.99 / €199.99 / £179.99 Release Date - 15th May 2026 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler releases on the 15th of May 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 77984 in a couple of months? What do you make of our first LEGO Jurassic World set of 2026? What other 18+ branded Jurassic sets would you like to see in the future? - LEGO Nike 43025 Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set Officially Revealed | March 2026
2026 has been a quiet year so far for the LEGO Nike theme, but following on from the LEGO Group's Croc release last month , the Danish toy manufacturer will be returning to brick-built trainers inspired by the global Nike brand. In particular, LEGO have officially revealed (via its LEGO Chinese Mainland page ) 43025 Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set ahead of its release date on the 28th of March 2026. The 28th of March 2026 is also the day that the actual LEGO-branded Nike Air Max 95 shoe releases, and a brick-built interpretation of the sneaker is the focal point of 43025. The 12+ model recreates this iconic Air Max 95 shoe in the same retro neon colour scheme of black fading to light graphite grey and white, alongside some dashes of fluorescent green. Similar to the first-ever LEGO Nike -branded set of 43008 Nike Dunk x LEGO Set , the Air Max 95 brick-built shoe isn't the only build in the March 2026 set. The rest of the 1,213 pieces are used to create a colourful display stand, again utilising a fade but with the colours black, blue, purple and light blue. Attached to this stand is the word 'AIR', made entirely out of LEGO bricks and built in a way to represent a cloud in the air with the letters' extremely rounded edges. The sneaker, attached to the display stand by some black elements, can be twisted to not only separate the Air Max 95 from the rest of the build, but to open a small compartment in the display stand to store accessories and hidden LEGO elements. Finally, a singular LEGO Minifigure is also included in 43025 Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set, which is expected to retail for around $109.99 / €109.99 / £99.99. This Minifigure is decked out in Nike-branded gear, including the Nike logo on its torso and its headpiece. 43025 Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set Set Name - Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set Set Number - 43025 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,213 Price - $109.99 / €109.99 / £99.99 Release Date - 28th March 2026 43025 Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO Set releases on the 28th of March 2026, but what do you think? - LEGO Ideas 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket Officially Revealed | April 2026
After the LEGO Super Mario fun earlier this week for Mario Day, the LEGO Group are now taking us to outer space with the latest official reveal from the LEGO Ideas theme. In particular, following on from the release of both 21376 Orange Cat and 21366 Floating Sea Otters earlier this month, Tintin is making his brick-built debut with the release of 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket on the 1st of April 2026. The 18+ model includes a total of 1,283 pieces retailing for $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99. The Spring 2026 set is based on Tkel86's original submission entitled 'Tintin - Space Rocket', which recreated the famous rocket used by Tintin and his companions in just under 1,700 pieces. The official build, while much smaller in terms of piece count, is still the perfect tribute and debut model for Tintin in LEGO. The set is based on the iconic rocket from The Adventures of Tintin, first seen in the classic comic books Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon. The rocket build, measuring over 19.5 inches (49 cm) high, 8 inches (20 cm) long and 9 inches (23 cm) wide, includes its classic red-and-white checkerboard pattern on the body, along with the triangular tail fin providing stable support to display the outer space machinery. From the very bottom of the rocket to the very top, the red cone-shaped panel can be removed to reveal a small interior. This small interior recreates the control in brick-built LEGO form with space to place a singular LEGO Minifigure . Even though the area is small and cramped, it is still packed full of details and stickers based on The Adventures of Tintin. Builders are able to recreate the classic scene from the comic where Tintin and his friends gaze at Earth from space. Unfortunately, that's the only interior section of the red and white rocket with LEGO also removing the launch tower included in the original submission. Another interesting change from the original design by Tkel86 is the inclusion of LEGO Minifigures . A total of five figures are included in the $160 set, capturing the iconic cast from the Herge comics. These include Tintin featuring a specialised hair mould for his quiff, Captain Haddock with a grump "blistering barnacles" expression, Professors Calculus and the brothers Thomson and Thomspon, with the only difference between the two characters being their beards. An exclusive dog mould for Snowy is also included in 21367. All of the exclusive Minifigures included in 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket come in identical orange space suits with helmets and oxygen tanks. Tintin and Captain Haddock also include radio accessories, while the twins include brown sticks. All of the characters, along with the space-inspired Snowy mould, are placed on a simple 18+ black display stand to be showcased next to the mighty rocket ship. 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket Set Name - Tintin Moon Rocket Set Number - 21367 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,283 Price - $159.99 / €159.99 / £139.99 Release Date - 1st April 2026 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket releases on the 1st of April 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21367 in a couple of weeks? Are you happy to be finally getting LEGO Tintin in 2026? What other LEGO Tintin sets and characters would you like to see in the future? What other LEGO Ideas sets and brand-new licenses are you looking forward to in 2026? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

- LEGO Super Mario Minifigures Officially Teased For 2027
Yes, you read that right! The LEGO Group and Nintendo will finally be giving us Mario LEGO Minifigures , drifting away from the traditional digfig LEGO Super Mario sets seen since the theme's launch in 2020. This announcement, teased on LEGO and Nintendo's various social media channels, comes after the official reveal of 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 , but is arguably the much bigger, unexpected and more anticipated news coming out of Mario Day. The short teaser video shared by both the LEGO Group and Nintendo shows a green warp pipe before a Minifigure-scale version of Mario jumps out. The design closely follows the standard LEGO Minifigure format with printed blue overalls and a red torso, while the head and hat appear to be a specially moulded element to capture Mario's iconic look and moustache. The clip ends with a simple message confirming that these new products will arrive in 2027. Since the launch of the LEGO Super Mario theme in 2020, characters such as Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach have only been represented in brick-built LEGO form as large, specialised interactive electronic figures. Each figure has only been available in its respective starter course set, which are all due to retire by the end of 2026. In fact, nearly every LEGO Super Mario set currently on shelves, apart from three 18+ branded models, is expected to reach its end of life on or before the 31st of December 2026. The gaming theme will start from a clean slate with the 2027 range, finally introducing traditional Minifigure versions of the iconic Super Mario characters - something fans have wanted since day one of the theme. At this stage, neither LEGO nor Nintendo has revealed any specific sets or product lines, but the ever-reliable maxbautde on Instagram has stated that, along with the revealed LEGO Mario Minifigure, we can also expect Luigi, Bowser, and Yoshi at the very least. Bowser will be represented as a LEGO bigifg while the Yoshi figure will include a shell that can be removed to place a LEGO Minifigure on the character's back. We can expect further characters too, such as Peach, Toad, Daisy, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, and so much more. The move to Minifigure scale will also allow the theme to expand with further playsets of iconic levels and locations across the Super Mario universe. We may also see further display models that aren't just targeted to the older adult audience, such as the highly popular 71411 The Mighty Bowser . For now, the teaser simply confirms that the world of Super Mario will finally be becoming LEGO Minifigure scale in 2027, but what do you think? How excited are you for the LEGO Super Mario Minifigures? What iconic characters would you like to see as Minifigures? Will you be sad to see the end of the digital course-building system? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO ONE PIECE 75647 Gum-Gum Fruit Officially Revealed | August 2026
March the 10th isn't only Mario Day but also the release date for the second season of the live-action ONE PIECE series on Netflix. To coincide with the new release, the LEGO Group have revealed its first LEGO ONE PIECE set of 2026, following on from the theme's debut year in 2025. In particular, this is 75647 Gum-Gum Fruit, which includes 482 pieces retailing for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 once it releases on the 1st of August 2026. Even though we've already seen an 18+ model from the LEGO ONE PIECE theme with 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant , 75647 is the most display-like model yet from the anime line of LEGO sets, recreating the Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user's body the properties of rubber. The brick-built Gum-Gum Fruit is built in a beautiful purple (blue violet) colour scheme, measuring over 6.5 inches (17 cm) high, 5 inches (12 cm) wide and 5 inches (13 cm) deep. The top of the legendary purple fruit, with its thin brown stalk, can be removed to reveal a small LEGO Minifigure scale interior. Here, the two Minifigures included in 75647 of Monkey D. Luffy with long, movable arms and a young version of the wannable pirate king. The Young Luffy figure can be used to recreate the scene in brick-built LEGO form where the character discovers the Gum-Gum fruit for the first time. The entire set is built on a ONE PIECE themed display stand with brown and grey colours reminiscent of a pirate treasure chest, and a light green life cushion for the Gum-Gum Fruit in that new blue violet colour scheme. 75647 also includes some three spiral ornaments to create a more accurate ball shape from LEGO, along with an exclusive display stick to place on a 2x4 black tile. 75647 Gum-Gum Fruit Set Name - Gum-Gum Fruit Set Number - 75647 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 482 Price - $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 Release Date - 1st August 2026 75647 Gum-Gum Fruit releases on the 1st of August 2026, but what do you think? - LEGO Super Mario 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 Officially Revealed | April 2026
Happy Mario Day, brick-builders, as the LEGO Group are celebrating the iconic Nintendo character with a brand new set reveal. In particular, this is 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8, which has been officially presented following its initial social media tease in January. 72050 will become the first LEGO Super Mario set of 2026, as LEGO has put a lot of its gaming budget towards the debut year of the LEGO Pokémon theme. The latest 18+ set for the licensed gaming theme releases on the 1st of April 2026 and is the perfect companion to last year's extremely popular 72037 Mario Kart - Mario & Standard Kart . 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8, however, retails for $10 more at $179.99 / €179.99 / £159.99 but also includes almost 300 more pieces at a piece count of 2,234. These pieces create a large-scale brick-built version of the character Luigi driving his Mach 8 kart, which first appears in the Wii U's Mario Kart 8 The build for Luigi is very similar to Mario from 72037, but with obvious differences in the character's face and clothing. Luigi has a longer and slightly thinner face, still complete with printed blue eyes, a large printed L on his green hat and his iconic mustache which is again slightly different to his brothers' and utilises a new piece. The plumber turned racer is then complete with his green and dark blue dungarees, yellow buttons, brown shoes and white gloves. Again, like Mario, Luigi is permanently seated in his brick-built LEGO kart, but there is movement in the gaming character's face, arms and hands to recreate the signature cheering pose. The kart build perfectly recreates the Mach 8, which resembles both a jet with a turbine-shaped grille and a Formula 1 car from the 1950s. Coloured in its usual mix of blue and yellow, the vehicle is larger and more sturdy than Mario's Standard Kart The wheels in particular are especially big with some exclusive red, black and grey printing on the wheel covers. Two of the biggest play features of the 18+ model are the ability to actually move and drive the car, with the ability to use the steering wheel to turn left and right. Meanwhile, the vibrant brick-built flame exhaust at the back of Mach 8 spins automatically as the vehicle moves. All of this is placed on a black stand, reminiscent of the one seen in 72037 Mario Kart - Mario & Standard Kart . 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 Set Name - Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 Set Number - 72050 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,234 Price - $179.99 / €179.99 / £159.99 Release Date - 1st April 2026 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 releases on the 1st of April 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 72037 in months time? Do you already own last year's 72037 Mario Kart - Mario & Standard Kart ? What other LEGO Super Mario sets would you like to see in 2026? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- The LEGO Group Reports Record Growth in 2025 with Strong Sales & Expanding Portfolio
It's time to talk money as the LEGO Group has announced its financial results for the year 2025, revealing another year of record performance. The company reported significant growth across revenue, profit and consumer sales, assisted by its largest portfolio of products yet at 868. The Danes have once again outperformed the wider toy market, strengthening its position as the world's leading toy brand. Financial Performance is Stronger Than Ever According to the official results, revenue increased by 12% to DKK 83.5 billion, while consumer sales rose by 16%. This growth far exceeded the global toy market, which expanded by around 7% during the same period. The strong performance reflects continued demand for LEGO products among both children and adults, driven by a diverse portfolio of new sets, licenses and strategic partnerships. Operating profit also grew substantially, rising 18% to DKK 22.0 billion. Net profit increased 21% to DKK 16.7 billion, underscoring the company's ability to scale production while maintaining operational efficiency. Free cash flow reached DKK 10.8 billion, allowing LEGO to continue major investments in manufacturing capacity, supply chains and sustainability initiatives. CEO of the LEGO Group Niels B Christiansen praised the results, noting that the company's innovative portfolio and strong brand have allowed LEGO to reach more children than ever before: "We are very pleased with our record performance in 2025, building on last year’s success. Our innovative and extensive portfolio, combined with the strength of the LEGO brand and an effective operating model, drove high demand." A Record Year for LEGO Sets During 2025, the LEGO Group launched its largest product portfolio to date, with more than 860 products released throughout the year. Around half of these were completely new products, designed to appeal to builders across multiple age groups. This even included LEGO's first $1,000 set with 75419 Death Star and the introduction of a brand new LEGO DUPLO and 4+ theme of LEGO Bluey . Some of the most successful themes included LEGO City , LEGO Technic , LEGO Star Wars , LEGO Icons and LEGO Botanicals . The latter of these in particular only became a fully fledged theme at the start of 2025, but has continued to bloom amongst LEGO's best builds. The annual report also highlighted the themes release of 10349 Happy Plants as LEGO Botanicals starts attracting a new fan base for brick-built flowers, hopefully helped even further by the release of 10506 Rocking Plants on the 1st of May 2026. Exciting partnerships also played an important role in driving growth. The new Formula 1 collaboration launched its first sets during 2025 and was supported by unique activations at over twenty Grand Prix events around the world. The partnership enters its second season in 2026 through a collaboration with F1 Academy. The release of 77258 F1 ACADEMY LEGO Race Car and many other initiatives aim to inspire younger racing fans and increase engagement with girls in motorsport. The company also continued to grow its presence in gaming and digital play experiences. 2025 marked the 30th anniversary of LEGO video games, with new titles and physical sets released for popular gaming franchises like LEGO Minecraft and LEGO Super Mario . Meanwhile, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey surpassed one billion hours of player engagement since its launch, with 2026 being another huge LEGO gaming year with the debut of LEGO Pokémon . Major Global Investments Continue Alongside its incredibly impressive financial results, the LEGO Group continued to invest heavily in its global infrastructure. In 2025, a new factory and regional distribution centre in Vietnam was opened, while construction has continued to progress on a major new manufacturing site in Virginia in the United States. Existing factories in the likes of Hungary, Mexico and China have also received expansions to support growing demand. To coincide with its increasing global factory expansions, retail has played a huge part for the Danish toy manufacturer. LEGO-branded stores and LEGO.com welcomed a record number of visitors during the year while achieving their highest customer satisfaction scores to date. The company also announced plans to expand its physical entertainment experiences by acquiring LEGO Discovery Centres and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres from Merlin Entertainments. The deal was completed just last month and includes a total of 29 attractions across nine countries, which together welcome around five million visitors annually. Sustainability Progress Accelerates The LEGO Group have also highlighted major progress in its sustainability strategy during 2025. Investments within this area have increased by 20% compared to 2024 and more than tripled since 2022. One of these significant investments and milestones is the fact that 52% of the materials purchased to manufacture LEGO bricks now come from renewable or recycled sources, a major increase from 33% in 2024. Despite continued business growth and production, the company also maintained stable greenhouse gas emissions year over year while improving carbon efficiency relative to revenue. Investments in solar energy, geothermal projects and renewable energy agreements have all contributed to these improvements. Beyond environmental initiatives, the LEGO Group has also continued its social responsibility work. In 2025, programmes focused on children's well-being and learning through play positively impacted more than 11.7 million children around the world. This will only be strengthened further in 2026 with the Play@TED global initiative . Christiansen emphasised that these initiatives remain central to the LEGO Group's long-term vision: "We are deeply committed to having a positive impact on the world and the communities we are part of. We do this by aiming to reduce our environmental footprint and improving access to play for kids who need it most, and we will continue to invest significantly to deliver on that ambition." With record financial results, an expanding global footprint and continued innovation across its product portfolio, the LEGO Group enters 2026 from a position of significant strength, but what do you make of the toy brand's record-breaking year? - LEGO Star Wars 75439 Darth Vader Bust Rumoured For May 2026
Almost a year since our last LEGO Star Wars helmet sets of 75408 Jango Fett Helmet and 75415 Kylo Ren Helmet , the licensed theme will be focusing on a brand new brick-built subtheme in 2026. In particular, these will be brick-built mini busts, similar to the two released last summer from the LEGO Marvel line of 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust and 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust . The first of these Star Wars-branded busts will release on the 1st of May 2026, of 75438 Yoda Bust and 75439 Darth Vader Bust . The latter is the focus of this Bricks Up article, with the 18+ model retailing for $59.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 and including a total of 349 pieces. This is fewer pieces for a slightly higher price compared to the brick-built Yoda Bust, which suggests a display model that utilises much larger elements and specialised moulds to create Darth Vader's entirely black helmet and bust design in brick-built LEGO. The bust build will likely include Vader's helmet, mask and the top section of this chest armour, stopping around the upper torso rather than showing the full body compared to other brick-built characters. The helmet will be the central point of the 18+ set, recreating the distinctive dome, triangular breathing mask and chilling eye lenses. All of these elements will be in black will the only colour likely being the smaller details of the villain's chest armour. 75439 Darth Vader Bust Set Name - Darth Vader Bust Set Number - 75439 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 349 Price - $59.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st May 2026 75439 Darth Vader Bust releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? - LEGO Star Wars 75438 Yoda Bust Rumoured For May 2026
While we have already seen official pictures of four LEGO sets based on the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu film releasing on the 1st of May 2026, the month of Star Wars still includes a couple more brick-built models. In particular, the LEGO Star Wars theme will introduce a completely new brick-built collection, taking a leaf from the LEGO Marvel theme's book, featuring mini busts. The first of these Star Wars-branded busts will release on the 1st of May 2026, of 75438 Yoda Bust and 75439 Darth Vader Bust . The former is the focus of this Bricks Up article, with the 18+ model retailing for $49.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 and including a total of 399 pieces. These pieces are used to recreate an entirely brick-built recreation of the upper half (from the shoulders up) of the legendary Jedi Master Yoda. The head will probably be the main focus of the build in its usual sand green and olive tones for Yoda's skin. The character's distinctive facial shape will be recreated in brick-built LEGO form, including Yoda's distinctive large pointed ears, eyes and many wrinkles. Below the head, acting as the lower part of the bust, will be Yoda's Jedi robes in their combination of tan and brown for the robes themselves and the base. 75438 Yoda Bust Set Name - Yoda Bust Set Number - 75438 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 399 Price - $49.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 Release Date - 1st May 2026 75438 Yoda Bust releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? Following the success of one of the cutest and most accessible LEGO Botanicals sets of 2025, 10349 Happy Plants , rumours suggest that a sequel to the playful plant-themed build is coming in 2026. - LEGO Icons 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith Rumoured For June 2026
The LEGO Group have been known for some incredible models over the years, both in terms of size, scale and detail, and the latest LEGO Icons rumour is another one of these. In particular, 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith is reportedly releasing on the 1st of June 2026 as the latest Middle-earth inspired set and the brand new Lord of the Rings flagship set. The 18+ model will include an incredible 8,278 pieces, making it the largest ever LEGO Lord of the Rings set and the largest set of 2026 so far. We've already had one LOTR-branded LEGO set in 2026 so far, with this month's 11373 The Lord of the Rings: Sauron's Helmet , but the brick-built interpretation of the capital city of Gondor will see the return of LOTR LEGO Minifigures , with 10 of them included in 11377, which supposedly retails for $599.99 / €599.99 / £549.99. The build itself is on a similar scale to 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr and utilises the same technique that the 2024 model did of creating Minifigure-scale interiors, but with exterior details built in a microscale. This is mainly because Minas Tirith, acting as the capital city of Gondor, is absolutely huge. The city is built into a mountain, expands across seven levels, and is surrounded by a great defensive wall known as the Ramas Echor. With its hybrid design, 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith perfectly captures the sheer verticality of the White City in brick-built LEGO form. The microscale exterior recreates a predominantly white facade of Minas Tirith, showcasing all seven gates and its levels. This is heavily centred on the massive Rock Pier, a sharp, ship-like stone outcropping that cuts through the centre of Minas Tirith. Like Barad-dur, the rear of the model is entirely Minifigure scale with plenty of iconic details and interactive play functions. The main feature inside is the throne room of Gondor, which takes up most of the back of the structure with its large white throne build and towering yet beautiful black and white pillars of the room itself. Along with the Steward's throne, a large table is also expected to be included to recreate the dining scene from The Return of the King. Several detachable sections are also included within the 18+ build. These removable modules hide smaller Minifigure scale scenes from the films, such as the Archives where research into the One Ring takes place, the Houses of Healing and the chamber containing the Palantír. Sections of the outer defensive wall can also be removed and rotated to reveal some of these rooms and further areas of the brick-built White City. Alongside the huge display build, the set includes 10 LEGO Minifigures connected to Gondor and the events surrounding the defence of the city. These include Gandalf the White with Shadowfax, Aragorn wearing the crown of Gondor, Arwen, Faramir, Pippin Took and Denethor, alongside four fully armoured Gondor soldiers. The soldiers each feature unique helmet designs and printed shields, while several characters include new armour prints, cloth capes and detailed accessories. 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith Set Name - The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith Set Number - 11377 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 8,278 Price - $599.99 / €599.99 / £549.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 11377 in a few months? Will the LEGO Icons version of Minas Tirith live up to its huge price tag and piece count?
