The LEGO Group has officially revealed 71052 CMF Series 29, confirming the next instalment in the long-running Collectable Minifigures line. Launching on the 1st of May 2026, the new series returns to the classic unthemed format, delivering 12 brand new characters packed with detailed printing, creative accessories, and several all-new moulds.

After last year's Formula 1-focused May release, which stepped away from traditional Minifigures, Series 29 brings the theme back to its roots. This latest lineup blends everyday professions, fantasy characters, and nostalgic references, offering a well-balanced selection that caters to both collectors and casual fans. Retailing for $4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 per blind box, Series 29 is the second CMF series of 2026, following on from January's 71051 Animals Series 28.

Confirmed Minifigure Lineup

Here's a breakdown of all twelve Minifigures included in 71052 CMF Series 29:

Football Goalkeeper - Bringing a sporty vibe to the series, the Football Goalkeeper features a brand-new LEGO football element, along with a detailed, vibrant goalkeeper kit printed on the figure's torso and legs. The Minifigure matches perfectly with the FIFA World Cup-inspired LEGO Editions sets that were released last month.

Marine Biologist - A brand new LEGO Marine Biologist figure is coming in Series 29, following on from 71027 Series 20's Marine Biologist. The 2026 LEGO Minifigure is somewhat a gender swap of 2020's unlicensed series, but it includes a brand new clownfish element, referencing LEGO Disney's Nemo.

Tuba Player - Music fans will love this addition, as a LEGO Tuba Player is coming in May 2026. The figure introduces a brand-new LEGO tuba piece, replacing the previous element first seen in the LEGO Fabuland theme back in 1984.

Unicorn Elf - The Unicorn Elf is a magical woodland character who comes in a nature-inspired outfit with different shades of green and leaf detailing. She uses the LEGO Marvel Wonder Woman hair and crown piece, with exclusive crown printing, along with 'dirty blonde' hair. A white unicorn mould is also included as an accessory for the figure.

Monster Hunter - Armoured with a funky new LEGO weapon involving fire, the Monster Hunter is one of Series 29's most unique and creative figures. The Monster Hunter looks to reference the individuals and groups throughout history who actually hunted for 'monsters' with an older aesthetic, along with detailed printing and dark pink hair for the LEGO Minifigure.

Robot T-Rex - Another eye-catching and creative Minifigure is the Robot T-Rex. The figure's torso and legs are covered in intricate mechanical printing, including exposed gears and power cells for a robot-like look. The T. rex-themed Minifigure also utilises 71037 Series 24s T-Rex Costumer Fan's head piece, but with a white futuristic and mechanical-like colour scheme.

Chocolatier - Clearly inspired by a certain famous sweet maker, Series 29's Chocolatier builds on the popularity of last year's 21360 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The standard non-branded sweet-themed figure features a brown apron printed on her torso and legs, along with a chef hat and blonde hair. A brown chocolate dragon sculpture is also included as an accessory, just like the red mini dragon included in 71047 Dungeons & Dragons.

Boba Cup Fan - Continuing the food-costume trend seen across previous LEGO Minifigure series, the Boba Cup Fan literally features a large, cylindrical boba tea cup suit to cover the Minifigure's torso and legs. The entire pink Boba Cup costume piece covers the head, torso and legs of the figure and even includes a small straw pocking out the top.

Bionicle Cosplayer - A nostalgic nod to LEGO's action figure legacy, the Bionicle Cosplayer wears armour inspired by classic biomechanical LEGO Bionicle heroes. The figure is based on the red Bionicle Tahu and includes a brand-new helmet element to further replicate the brick-built action figure as a standard LEGO Minifigure.

Mysterious Ronin - The Mysterious Ronin is literally a very mysterious figure, but is in fact a tribute to Lloyd from the LEGO NINJAGO theme, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026. The figure's torso and legs are mainly coloured shades of blue with black gloves, black boots and various detailed prints.

Cute Witch - A charming twist on a classic Halloween character, this witch features a detailed dress print and a traditional pointed witch's hat in purple. A pink magic wand is included as an accessory, and a dark grey, seated cat.

Trash Monster - Last but not least, we have another very creative yet stinky character, the Trash Monster. This figure is literally built around a bulky trash-themed suit with a head of slime that slithers down to further shades of green and eventually brown, representing dirt. Various insect and food prints from people's trash can also be found on the figure.
