LEGO 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico GWP Officially Revealed | 10th April 2026

Following on from yesterday's rumour article, we now have official images of the latest GWP in the Restaurant of the World series. In particular, this is the second set of 2026 in the series, and we're heading to the Americas with 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico. The 12+ model is available from the 10th to the 19th of April 2026 with any LEGO purchases over $180 / €180 / £160, just like 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan.

40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico features 326 pieces, recreating a traditional taqueria, a type of restaurant known for serving tacos and commonly found across Mexico and global street food scenes. This brick-built taqueria literally includes a giant brick-built taco attached to its burgundy and brown roof. The taco is packed with brick-built ingredients of meat, beans and vegetables while also including a stickered 'taqueria' sign on its base.

Much like 40906, this Mexican-inspired restaurant build uses an open-backed design, making it easy to view and access the interior. Inside, the space is split between a compact kitchen and a small customer seating area. The kitchen section includes a trompo, a key feature in authentic taco preparation, alongside LEGO tacos and drinks ready to be served. On the opposite side, two customers can sit at the taco bar, with contrasting red and yellow chairs.

At the side of the colourful restaurant, we can find further Mexican architecture and builds including a brick-built cactus and some light green leaf elements first introduced in the LEGO Botanicals theme. A single LEGO Minifigure is also included: a female chef with apron printing and additional taco-related accessories, including a LEGO knife piece and a bowl of guacamole.
