LEGO Star Wars 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Rumoured For May 2026

Thanks to the recent presentation of 75438 Yoda Bust and 75439 Darth Vader Bust, and the previous reveal of four The Mandalorian & Grogu inspired sets last month, we've seen images of every LEGO Star Wars May 2026 set bar one. This one, in particular, is the largest and most expensive of the seven releasing at the end of April/start of May. And it's our first LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Set of 2026, 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter.

The latest Star Wars-branded 18+ model will retail for $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99 and includes a total of 1,809 pieces to recreate Din Djarin's modified N-1 Starfighter, which features prominently in the third season of The Mandalorian. Din's second major ship, after the original Razor Crest, has appeared in multiple forms, having already seen the starfighter as a playset (75325), a 4+ model (75410) and a Microfighter (75363).

But on the 1st of May 2026, we'll see the biggest and most detailed iteration of the N-1 Starfighter yet, and it's perfect timing ahead of the blockbuster release of The Mandalorian & Grogu. Those two characters are not only the stars of the new film, but also the two LEGO Minifigures included in 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter. Grogu will use the new mould introduced for the character in the other May 2026 sets, while the Mandalorian himself will be decked out in beskar armour along with his Darksaber accessory.

At a price tag of $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99, we can expect 75442 to be a mid-sized UCS model. This means it will be slightly more accessible than the likes of 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75313 AT-AT, for example. However, the 2026 set will still be just as detailed, acting as an incredible display piece, likely focusing on the Starfighers' long, slim shape that closely follows the on-screen version.

Just like we see in the Mandalorian Disney+ series, we can expect a fairly narrow front section of the N-1 Starfighter to be recreated in brick-built LEGO form that tapers to an even thinner rear tail. The wings of the N-1 will be located right at the front, drastically expanding the width of the Starfighter. These sections will likely be some of the most detailed, as each wing includes a J-type engine of the agile craft, which in the Disney+ series are relatively exposed, giving away plenty of inner workings and details.

Along with the relatively exposed engines, most of the yellow colouring of the original Naboo Starfighter has also been stripped from Mando's Starfighter. Therefore, we can expect the 1,809-piece build to lean heavily on metallic silver tones mixed with light grey and dark grey elements. Some yellow will still be found around the cockpit section, however, just like we see in the 2022 playscale version of 75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter.

The cockpit section itself will be another important feature of the build, including both the actual cockpit section for Din Djarin, along with the smaller passenger space for Grogu. Both sections can be removed to access the usual details seen in the previous LEGO Star Wars cockpit builds. A few spring-loaded stud shooters, along with a cargo compartment, are also likely to feature in 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter once it releases on the 1st of May 2026.
