The main build of the set is a lightning dragon, built using a mixture of red, purple and black details. The dragon has a detailed black and transparent head which also includes some printed elements and black brick-built horns. The Thunderfang Dragon of Chaos has a total of four legs which are chained to a small side build of the set. The dragon can be released by unlocking it with 2 prismatic blade accessories that are included with the 8+ set. The $70 model also includes a total of six Minifigures. The new corner building has been beautifully designed and will be releasing alongside 40757 Corner Kiosk. The LEGO Icons promotional model is one of five GWPs reportedly releasing throughout January 2025 which we cover in this article. Alongside the already-revealed 21271 The Trial Chamber, another LEGO Minecraft set will also be releasing on the 1st of March 2025 of 21282 The Parrot House. The 7+ model will be the most expensive set of 2025 for the gaming theme as it retails for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 with a currently unknown piece count. As the name suggests, 21282 is the latest brick-built mod house, this time taking on the form of a Parrot, a bird prominently seen in the jungle biomes. Like previous LEGO Minecraft sets, the outline of the parrot will be the main build of the model with the interior including a small but cosy home. This will most likely be complete with the usual accessories of a bed, a furnace, a crafting table and possibly even an armour stand. For $70, we expect a fair amount of mobs and Minifigures to be included alongside the jungle biome-themed set. A new skin will most likely be included along with either a creeper, zombie or skeleton and plenty of parrot mobs. On the 1st of January 2025, the LEGO City theme will be starting the brand new year off in style with a total of 21 sets hitting shelves. These 21 sets include six models branded under LEGO's multi-year partnership with Formula 1 along with plenty of City Life vehicles. However, unlike previous years, the wave didn't include many Police, Fire and Emergency based sets. For those who are fans of those kinds of sets, we expect plenty of Police, Fire and Emergency builds and vehicles in the themes summer wave along with a brand new LEGO City Police set releasing on the 1st of March 2025. In particular, this is 60449 Off-Road Police Car Chase which includes a total of 467 pieces retailing for $36.99 / €36.99 / £31.99. The name suggests that LEGO City's police department will be going off-road with a high-speed chase. The 9+ model is a beautifully brick-built version of a light blue dress belonging to the princess Cinderella. But a couple of months later, another wave of Disney-themed models will hit shelves including 43262 Maleficent & Cruella De Vil Dresses. The 9+ model includes a total of 524 pieces retailing for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 from the 1st of March 2025. As the name suggests, the 2025 model includes two brick-built dresses belonging to the characters Maleficent and Cruella De Vil. Both are seen as villains in their respective movies so fit perfectly in this original set idea from LEGO. The dresses/costumes of the respective characters will then sit on a display stand where they can be displayed in multiple ways, similar to how dresses are presented in physical stores. For $70, 43262 will also include two Minidolls, corresponding to the dresses included in the 9+ set. Maleficent will likely be very similar if not identical to her appearance in 2023s 43211 Aurora's Castle. In just a weeks time a total of six brand new LEGO Star Wars sets will be hitting shelves for a 1st of January 2025 release. The first of many waves of Star Wars sets in 2025 consists of new and returning starships, a brand new brick-built version of Grogu and some more 18+ midiscale ships. But the midiscale line of sets isn't the only 18+ LEGO Star Wars subtheme in 2025 as the range of 18+ intergalactic helmets will also be returning in the new year. 75429 AT-AT Driver Helmet will be the first of these new 18+ LEGO Star Wars helmets in the new year, being the only Star Wars set releasing on the 1st of March 2025. The 18+ model will retail within the standard range for this line of sets of $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 with a currently unknown piece count. The set will celebrate the iconic design of the AT-AT Drivers, whose striking helmets were first seen commanding imposing All Terrain Armored Transports in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. This will debut with 10359 Fountain Garden but exactly two months later we'll be getting another LEGO Icons subtheme entitled 'Restaurants of the World'. This second new Icons subtheme of 2025 will launch with a brand new set that we're covering in today's article of 10362 Microscale Parisian Cafe. The brand new 18+ model includes a total of 1,101 pieces retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 once it releases on the 1st of March 2025. 10362's build is a detailed facade of a brick-built Microscale Parisian Cafe in pastel orange and beige tones, combined with a light green wall. The classic building is equipped with an array of decorative features, including a grey sidewalk with tables and chairs, hanging flowerpots, an elegant entrance with transparent doors and a black lamppost. Being microscale, 10362 includes no Minifigures but is a very neta and compact size, perfect for displaying around the house and on your desk. The whole beautifully designed cafe sits on a stereotypical 18+ black base and may possibly include a small printed nameplate with the words 'Parisian Cafe'. A brand new year is just over a week away and with that we'll be seeing LEGO celebrate one of the biggest events of the new year. Chinese New Year is celebrated across the globe with a total of three brick-built models, already covered here at Bricks Up, releasing on the 1st of January 2025. Along with these readily available sets will be a brand new Gift With Purchase running throughout January 2025 of 40707 Year Of The Snake. The threshold however and the exact amount of time during the month of January is unknown, but similar to previous years 40707 will likely be available with any LEGO purchases. The Chinese New Year set may also be available from either the 26th or 27th of December 2024 in China and other certain countries in Asia. We are still waiting for official confirmation of this even though LEGO has already presented us with 40707's set images. Also similar to last year's/this year's 40611 Year of the Dragon, the 174-piece set is a brick-built version of a colourful Chinese culture Snake for the Year of the Snake. 2024 is very quickly coming to a close with less than two weeks until the end of the year and less than two weeks until we see plenty of brand new LEGO sets hit shelves. On the 1st of January 2025, not only will we see all these new and exciting models, but a new GWP will also become available of 40757 Corner Kiosk. Unfortunately, this will only be available with the brand-new LEGO Modular Building of 10350 Tudor Corner, but new rumours suggest that another promotional item will become available around the same time. In particular, this is 40758 Ferris Wheel With Fireworks which includes 230 pieces and will be available for a currently unknown threshold during January 2025. The brand-new LEGO Creator model has already been confirmed to include no Minifigures and will instead be a brick-built Ferris wheel with fireworks.
