A week on from the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, and what better way to celebrate the return of Star Wars to the big screen than with more brand-new LEGO sets. In particular, the LEGO Group have today officially revealed a further two 2026 sets of 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn and 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4. The focus of this article is the larger of the two models, 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn. Based on one of the very first episodes of The Mandalorian back in season 1, the 14+ model includes a total of 1,683 pieces retailing for $199.99 / €199.99 / £179.99. It launches on the 1st of August 2026 alongside a further three LEGO Star Wars sets, including the previously revealed 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown. Away from the familiar brittle brown aesthetic of classic Original Trilogy Sandcrawlers, 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn is constructed primarily out of dark grey coloured elements. The large grey surface is broken up by smaller elements of tan, brown and light grey to simulate rust, grim, and desert wear. Overall, the exterior colouring and design replicates the weathered steel look of the scavenger vehicle seen on Arvala-7. The tall boxy-shaped vehicle also includes angled side panels with various studs showing and heavy tread sections. With almost 1,700 pieces, the 2026 model is much larger and more detailed than the most recent iteration of the Sandcrawler, 75220 Sandcrawler. It has significantly denser plate layering and sharper, modernised angles along the hull plating. The interior itself is also larger with accessible interior sections, compartments and removable panels showcasing the working and living space used by the Jawas. Jawa equipment, cargo, tools, scrap components and more will likely be found here and on the roof of the vehicle itself, where builders can also find two tan-coloured sail elements and some transparent yellow elements matching those used on the front of the Offworld Sandcrawler. A major sidebuild is also included in the 14+ model of a brick-built LEGO Mudhorn. The large egg-laying mammal has a very similar build to the Erumpent creature, which appeared in a rare LEGO Fantastic Beasts set of 75952 Newts Case of Magical Creatures. The Mudhorn, however, obviously utilises a mainly brown colour scheme with plenty of articulation at the beast's legs, neck and head, allowing builders to pose the LEGO Mudhorn in a charging stance, directly referencing the iconic mud-pit battle scene. Finally, 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn includes a total of six LEGO Minifigures. A muddy season 1 version of Mando and Grogu with a new pram build feature alongside Kuiil, who makes a rare appearance outside of the expensive Ultimate Collector Series. Following our first look at the set via a Star Wars Kids YouTube video, the LEGO Group has today officially revealed 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4. The 10+ set is the latest LEGO Star Wars build based on Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, and the biggest so far. It will release on the 1st of August 2026 alongside a further three LEGO Star Wars sets, including 75453 Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn, which has also been officially revealed today. The short animated video released the other day gave us our first look at several previously unseen Imperial Remnant LEGO Minifigures. Today's official presentation confirms that these figures are, in fact, appearing in 75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4, which has a Minifigure lineup consisting of seven characters. Three of the seven figures are brand-new Imperial Remnant Star Wars Minifigures. Unique prints are included for the Imperial Remnant Warlord with his distinct grey hair, while imperial uniform features alongside updated armour printing for two Imperial Remnant Snowtroopers and a singular normal Snowtrooper. Din Djarin and Grogu once again make an appearance in brick-built LEGO form this summer, along with an AT-AT driver. Away from the Minifigure lineup, the latest build of the iconic All Terrain Armoured Transport is very similar to previous brick-built interpretations of the four-legged imperial vehicle, but features a noticeably worn and patched-together appearance. A mostly light grey and dark grey colour scheme is utilised with sections of darker armour and exposed mechanical detailing helping to give it a rougher, battle-worn look compared to a standard Imperial AT AT. The head section keeps the classic angular shaping, complete with forward-mounted cannons in the form of two spring-loaded shooters, while the body appears bulky and heavily armoured. Posability can be found in the AT-AT's head and legs, with the former of the two parts including space for two Minifigures. The cockpit canopy can be opened along with side panels and two hatches on top to access the Minifigure-friendly interior. Alongside the walker is the included INT-4 Interceptor vehicle, a much smaller Imperial support craft built in matching grey tones. The vehicle features a compact, angular design with a low-profile body, technical surface detailing and mounted weaponry. Its smaller scale helps it work naturally as an escort or reconnaissance-style companion build next to the much larger AT-AT. In fact, the INT-4 can even be stored inside the overall AT-AT build by folding the vehicle's wings. A third and final side build can also be stored in the Imperial Remnant AT-AT of a simple white speeder bike, perfect for one of the LEGO Star Wars Snowtroopers. The hype and discussion around LEGO SMART Play and its groundbreaking technology may have gone a bit quiet in the last few weeks, but the LEGO Group are continuing to introduce sets with its most intelligent brick yet. The LEGO Group has officially pulled back the curtain on the latest addition to the LEGO Architecture line: 21066 New York City - The Big Apple. Once it releases on the 1st of June 2026, it will be the second set of the year for the entirely 18+ theme and represents another new style of set for the Architecture brand. The 2026 build includes a total of 1,465 pieces retailing for $139.99 / €139.99 / £129.99 and is already available for pre-order. As we've alluded to, 21066 New York City - The Big Apple represents a significant departure from the wide, horizontal skyline sets of previous years, including a previous LEGO New York iteration of 21028 New York City. Instead, the 18+ set adopts a vertical, illustrative format that captures the density and height of Manhattan within a contained, artistic frame. The build is dominated by a large black structure shaped like a stylised apple (aka The Big Apple), which acts as the boundary for the entire scene. Inside this apple-shaped frame, the background is constructed from dark blue plates representing a clear night sky. Small, circular printed tiles are scattered across this backdrop to depict distant stars, while a larger crescent moon sits near the top left corner. This creates a tiered effect with the brick-built buildings and landmarks appearing silhouetted against the night sky. These buildings and landmarks in question include the Empire State Building and One World Trade Centre, standing tall above the rest of the city. The Statue of Liberty is recreated from a plain white LEGO Minifigure and can be found alongside the Brooklyn Bridge and the Guggenheim and Metropolitan museums. 21066 is then complete with a small section of nature with a microscale recreation of the famous Central Park. While we've seen the LEGO Group capture the alien symbiote Venom multiple times over the years, this summer, the Danish toy manufacturer will finally be shifting their attention from the comics to Sony's Venom trilogy. The comic version of Venom and the character's appearance in Spider-Man have been recreated in brick-built form multiple times, but on the 1st of July 2026, we'll be seeing the release of 76356 Venom Bust. Fans may have hoped for something other than a brick-built 18+ set, but the LEGO Venom Bust will be our third LEGO Marvel bust model, following on from last year's 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust and 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust. The 2026 build includes a total of 413 pieces retailing for the same price as the two summer 2025 models of $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99. Following the formula of previous busts, which expanded to LEGO Star Wars last month, 76356 Venom Bust is likely a compact bust of Venom's head and upper shoulders sitting on a small display base. The head will be the main focus, with a large, rounded skull shape that is wider at the top and tapers slightly toward the jaw. A wide grin will be replicated in brick-built LEGO form, along with Venom's iconic long, pointed teeth and ever-curved and extending bright red tongue. The figure's shoulders will be minimal and mostly decorative, built as a base for the head rather than a full torso, just like the previous LEGO bust iterations. This will be black, along with most of the build, except for the Marvel character's entirely white eyes and the previously mentioned curvy red tongue, identical to the colour scheme of 2021's 76187 Venom. 76356 Venom Bust will sit on a simple 18+ display stand with a printed name tile of 'LEGO Marvel' and 'Venom' attached to the base. Additionally, there will be room to display a single LEGO Minifigure, which is also included in the $60 build. While many LEGO themes have already had their summer 2026 sets officially presented, the LEGO Group are saving some of the best reveals until last, with the debut 2026 LEGO Pokémon theme being one of them. After just three entirely adult-oriented sets released on Pokémon day in February, rumours indicate that up to 16 sets could be launching on the 1st of August 2026. Three brand new LEGO Botanicals sets are launching in just over a week's time, but the LEGO Group have now accidentally given us a sneak peek at their next nature-inspired build. In particular, this is 11513 Dark Flowers, which introduces a moodier colour palette for the Botanicals theme once it releases at some point this year. Along with an unconfirmed release date, the set's piece count and price are currently both unknown as well. Regardless, the official LEGO Builder app has provided us with a leaked image of 11513 Dark Flowers, combined with June's upcoming 11514 Cosmos Flowers. While plenty of LEGO Botanicals sets can be displayed together on a shelf or in a non-brick-built vase, 11513 and 11514 will be some of the first Botanicals models that can be directly combined to make an even bigger and unique brick-built LEGO bouquet. The leaked image clearly shows how 11513 Dark Flowers leans into a gothic-like aesthetic, utilising deep tones such as black, dark red, and dark purple in its floral selection. The front of the display features a large, dark purple flower that closely resembles an anemone, built with layered petaled segments around a textured dark core. On the right, a dense dark red flower represents a dahlia. This segment features clever part usage, utilising small dark red shields layered sequentially to recreate the dense, pointed geometry of dahlia petals. Meanwhile, the lower left section introduces a striking black calla lily (or arum lily), using a LEGO umbrella piece to create the plant's signature, elegant funnel shape. The LEGO Group has officially revealed the final LEGO Speed Champions set of the summer and the year, with 77263 BMW M3 (E30). Following an initial behind-the-scenes teaser from BMW M Motorsport, we now have official images of the brick-built car, which becomes just the second ever BMW Speed Champions model after 2024's 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars. The time, however, the August 2026 model shifts the focus from modern hypercars to historic touring legends, with an entirely brick-built recreation of the BMW M3 (E30). The 9+ model celebrates exactly four decades of the iconic 1980s homologation classic with a unique livery designed by both the LEGO Group and BMW. Once it's available from the 1st of August 2026, the second LEGO Speed Champions set releasing on this day will retail for the usual $29.99 / €27.99 / £22.99 with 358 pieces included. Those 358 pieces cleverly capture the literal physical characteristics of the real-world car. The front section, for example, smartly integrates two LEGO fork elements positioned vertically to replicate the narrow slats of BMW's iconic kidney grille. Meanwhile, the bodywork and overall shaping focus on the heavily flared wheel arches, the flat front hood, and the distinct, boxy rear trunk of the 1980s E30 chassis. The livery of the BMW M3 E30 is the most interesting and unique element of the LEGO Speed Champions model. The paint work has been uniquely collaborated between the two global brands, consisting of diagonal red, blue, and black graphics on a white base. Just one more LEGO Speed Champions set for 2026 has yet to be officially revealed, with today's tease confirming the existence of the set and the expected presentation. In particular, brick-built car enthusiasts will be seeing the release of 77263 BMW M3 E30 - 40th Anniversary on the 1st of August 2026, alongside the previously revealed 77264 Jaguar Project 7 & Land Rover Defender. The tease itself, confirming multiple rumours about the 9+ model, has appeared as both an interview on YouTube and an Instagram post confirming an exciting collaboration between the LEGO Group and BMW, which is to be revealed tomorrow, the 22nd of May 2026. 77263 not only celebrates 40 years of the iconic BMW M3 E30, but also marks just the second BMW LEGO Speed Champions set after 2024's 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars. This time, however, 77263 focuses on the BMW M3 E30 - a high-performance version of the original BMW 3 Series produced in the 1980s. BMW built it for racing and road use, focusing on light weight, sharp handling, and strong engine performance. It is widely seen as one of the most important and influential performance cars BMW has ever made, making it the perfect brick-built model to round out another successful year for LEGO Speed Champions. During the behind-the-scenes deep dive and interview, the build represented a formal four-month development partnership. Will Thorogood, Head of Design for New Business at the LEGO Group, and Michael Scully, Head of Design at BMW M, spearheaded this project, starting with concept calls and then moving into in-person workshops in Munich. The main goal of the build focused on reflecting 40 years of M3 heritage while also visually echoing LEGO's block-based structure through sharp diagonal graphics and high-contrast colour blocking. 77263's 358 pieces have recreated a vehicle with heavily detailed shaping, especially around the front grille, wheel arches, and rear proportions. The build even integrates two LEGO fork elements to accurately recreate the iconic vertical slats of the classic BMW kidney grille. The livery of the BMW M3 E30 is the most interesting and unique element of the LEGO Speed Champions model. The paint work has been uniquely collaborated between the two global brands, with the Instagram tease giving us a good look at the design consisting of diagonal red, blue, and black graphics on a white base. A popular, family-friendly LEGO Gift With Purchase is back as the LEGO Group has confirmed that 40885 Duck Family is available from today (the 22nd of May) until the 31st of May 2026. The LEGO Creator-branded promotional item is available with all LEGO purchases over $100 / €100 / £90, just like it was back in February, but this time alongside some sets with limited-time-only double LEGO Insiders points. 40885 Duck Family includes 262 pieces to create a cute brick-built duck family of a mother duck and her three tag-along ducklings. Mother duck is obviously the biggest build in 40885, with her featuring plenty of shades of brown and tan, along with some yellow feet and a yellow beak. The bottom of the beak is connected via a clip and bar hinge, allowing it to move up and down and be angled in various ways, while her legs can be alternated between a standing or swimming position. The three ducklings, meanwhile, have very similar builds, but two of the small animals are coloured yellow and orange, while the third one is coloured white, grey and tan. The ducklings have a lot less articulation than their mother, along with much smaller wings, beaks and eyes. After the LEGO Group took us behind the scenes covering an upcoming LEGO Speed Champions BMW set earlier today, the Danish toy manufacturer has now also teased a brand new set for our favourite Italian plumber. In particular, the short social media tease is for the upcoming 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade Machine, which includes a total of 1,367 pieces once it releases on the 1st of August 2026 for $199.99 / €169.99 / £149.99. 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade Machine will be just the second LEGO Super Mario set of 2026, after the release of 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 in April. The theme, just like LEGO Animal Crossing, has had to take a step back this year while the LEGO Group's gaming budget has been piled into the brand new LEGO Pokémon theme. However, next year, big things are expected from the LEGO Super Mario line, as it was confirmed on Mario Day that Super Mario LEGO Minifigures would finally be coming in 2027. And now the LEGO Group seem to be expanding the Nintendo and Mario universe further with the Italian plumber's "frenemy" Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong has already appeared as a brick-built character with his own wave of course-building sets back in 2023, but on the 1st of August 2026, the powerful and carefree Kong will be getting his own brick-built Arcade Machine. The short Instagram tease already showcases an element and play feature that will be included in the LEGO Arcade Machine, as the video shows a printed version of an iconic DK barrel rolling past. How exactly this rolling barrel will be incorporated in the 18+ display model is currently unknown, but we're guessing a brick-built crank operation will be included in 72051. This will simulate barrels rolling down the iconic Donkey Kong red girder scaffolding, possibly including mini brick-built or printed versions of Donkey Kong, Mario and Pauline, for example. The rest of the build will likely follow another 18+ LEGO Arcade Machine of 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade. However, 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade Machine has almost half the pieces at 1,367, suggesting a much smaller display model, removing some of the more hidden brick-built features and separate PAC-MAN and Ghost display stand. We can still expect however an authentic and detailed recreation of the physical arcade cabinet structure with plenty of classic Donkey Kong branding, prints and hidden details.
