While the LEGO Super Mario theme and LEGO Animal Crossing line may be having a much quieter 2026, LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog is definitely not slowing down this year. After two sets inspired by Sonic Racing CrossWorlds released in January, the LEGO Group have officially revealed a further two models for the theme launching on the 1st of August 2026. Minifigures of Tails and Shadow return alongside a brick-built plane and mech for each character.

The 8+ model recreates Tails' iconic yellow and red plane from Sonic Unleashed with its unfolding and extremely flexible wings.
