LEGO NINJAGO and mechs are one of the best combinations it seems in the world of LEGO as more mechs are coming in 2024 for the LEGO NINJAGO theme. This includes 71806 Cole's Earth Mech which for $19.99 includes 235 pieces once it releases on 1st January 2024. Unlike the previously rumoured 71805 Jay’s Battle Mech, 71806 focuses more on the build of the mech rather than the Minifigure selection. But the $20 set still includes two Minifigures of Cole and a Wolf Warrior as the ninja and enemy of the LEGO NINJAGO set. Most of the 235 pieces will then be used to construct Cole's Earth Mech which this time will be wielding a brick-built hammer. 71806 Cole's Earth Mech Set Name - Cole's Earth Mech Set Number - 71806 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 235 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

LEGO NINJAGO has mechs and now LEGO Star Wars has mechs but the reverse seems to be happening for another kind of set. This is because the LEGO NINJAGO set of 71805 Jay's Battle Mech is basically rumoured to be a battle pack. These battle pack-like sets have been extremely popular and common in the LEGO Star Wars theme with a small build being included but with a strong amount of Minifigures. And the same sort of thing seems to be happening with 71805 Jay's Battle Mech including a total of four Minifigures. These are obviously the ninja Jay along with Lloyd in a masters outfit, the new moulded wolf head Minifigure and an unknown enemy in a hood. The rest of the 78 pieces are then used for Jay's tiny battle mech but for $10.99 this is still a nicely priced set for four Minifigures once it releases on 1st January 2024. 71805 Jay's Battle Mech Set Name - Jay's Battle Mech Set Number - 71805 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 78 Price - $10.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

The last LEGO set of 2023 has been officially revealed with it being the long-awaited, leaked and delayed LEGO Ideas set of 21344 The Orient Express Train. The 18+ branded set was originally supposed to be revealed on the 4th of October 2023 with a release on the 1st of November 2023. However, this didn't come to fruition and instead, the final LEGO Ideas set of the year will be released in just two weeks time on the 1st of December 2023. The seventh and final LEGO Ideas set of 2023 will be a brick-built version of the Orient Express first submitted by LEt.sGo, celebrating 140 years of the locomotive. Trains and LEGO aren't often seen but this may finally be the start of a brand new range of sets once it releases on 1st December 2023 for $299.99. Our last LEGO train display set was released all the way back in 2020 with 10277 Crocodile Locomotive. The brand new LEGO Ideas train set will include a total of 2,540 pieces which may sound like a lot but it is actually 455 pieces fewer than the original fan submission. This had a total of 2,995 pieces but as we can see from the official images, LEGO has gone a different route for the train and made it more old school rather than the original more modern submission. This is especially seen in the change of colour scheme from dark green to blue. Another change is the increase in passenger cars for the train. Along with the engine car, we now have two passenger cars at the back with fully detailed interiors. This is perfect for the eight Minifigures included to sit back and relax whilst also being able to look out the wind on their journey and grab a drink or two from the bar. There's even a toilet, a comfy sofa, a LEGO typewriter, a cosy bed and plenty of other details to explore. We already mentioned that for $300 a total of eight Minifigures are included. These are A duchess, conductor, train driver, waiter, railway station manager, scientist, writer and film director. All of these Minifigures come with a range of accessories for their trip on the Orient Express including a brick-built baggage cart and other train-themed accessories. And finally, this grand LEGO train is topped off with an over 1 metre-long track display stand making it a more display-worthy model than previous LEGO trains. However, no motorized elements are included but these can be easily added if you wish and have allowed LEGO to keep that price tag as $299.99 for 2,540 pieces. Remember 1st December 2023 is the release date but that's not too long until your Minifigures get to travel in style... 21344 The Orient Express Train Set Name - The Orient Express Train Set Number - 21344 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,540 Price - $299.99 Release Date - 1st December 2023

The LEGO Super Mario theme has become the second LEGO theme to have its 2024 sets officially revealed after LEGO Animal Crossing. The Nintendo gaming theme continues with the course building system unlike the new LEGO Animal Crossing theme which includes moulded heads for Minifigures. However, this brand new wave of five sets is much cheaper than previous waves. The sets range between the prices of $10.99 and $44.99 whereas in previous years at least one set has been around $80-$100. And the sets have a much better price-per-piece ratio than previous iterations in the theme. For example, 71431 Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set includes 458 pieces for only $29.99. And that set of 71431 is probably the best of the wave in our opinion including Bowser's purple muscle car in brick-built LEGO form. It's also the cheapest way to get LEGO Bowser at only $30. But it isn't the cheapest set of the wave as that goes to 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set which doesn't include much apart from an exclusive Yoshi printed egg and two more brick-built Yoshi's. Those two expansion sets are then followed by two more expansion sets both retailing for $19.99. These are 71429 Nabbit at Toad's Shop and 71430 Penguin Family Snow Adventure which were revealed a couple of weeks ago. Both sets expand our range of brick-built characters to include Nabbit, a yellow toad a baby penguin, an adult penguin and a festive Goomba with a santa hat. The fifth and final set of the January 2024 LEGO Super Mario is the most expensive coming in at $44.99 for 500 pieces. 71432 Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set is a brick-built shipwreck for Mario, Luigi and Peach to explore with plenty of seaweed and beach, sea and shipwreck tiles to explore. The main play feature of a platform you can spin to uncover the Key Block hidden in the clamshell and open the treasure chest. 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set Set Name - Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set Set Number - 71428 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 107 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71429 Nabbit at Toad's Shop Set Name - Nabbit at Toad's Shop Set Number - 71429 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 230 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71430 Penguin Family Snow Adventure Set Name - Penguin Family Snow Adventure Set Number - 71430 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 228 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71431 Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set Set Name - Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set Set Number - 71431 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 458 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71432 Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set Set Name - Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set Set Number - 71432 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 500 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

That's right, we finally have official images of the biggest and most expensive LEGO Super Mario set releasing on 1st January 2024. In particular, this is 71432 Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set, further expanding the marine and sea life LEGO Super Mario sets. It may be the most expensive LEGO Super Mario set releasing in just over a months time but it will only cost $44.99 with 500 pieces. The set itself is unsurprisingly a brick-built shipwreck for Mario, Luigi and Peach to explore with plenty of seaweed and beach, sea and shipwreck tiles to explore. The main play feature of the set is directly in the middle of the broken ship. Here you can spin the platform to uncover the Key Block hidden in the clamshell and open the treasure chest to get the gem. A Question Mark Block is also included to further help LEGO Mario. And for a $44.99 set we also have four brick-built LEGO Super Mario characters. These include returning ones of a rideable Dorrie, a Cheep Cheep and a Blooper. The fourth and final character is exclusive to this set of a Cheep Chomp which is a lovely purple. Its interactive tile is located inside its wide open mouth creating a brand new challenge for LEGO Mario. 71432 Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set Set Name - Dorrie's Sunken Shipwreck Adventure Expansion Set Set Number - 71432 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 500 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

After a leak just under a week ago, official images of all five LEGO Super Mario January 2024 sets have appeared on LEGO shop@home. This includes 71431 Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set which includes 458 pieces for a retail price of $29.99, making it one of best price-per-piece ratio LEGO Super Mario sets to ever exist As the name suggests, the LEGO Super Mario build is a fun, cartoon-like build of Bowser's purple muscle car. The car itself is from Super Mario 3D World where it depicts the Koopa Chase between Bowser and Mario. However, only one of those characters of Bowser is included here but this makes it the cheapest way to get a LEGO version of Bowser at only $29.99. Two small bomb builds are also included making it a great display and play model. 71431 Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set Set Name - Bowser's Muscle Car Expansion Set Set Number - 71431 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 458 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

After a leak just under a week ago, official images of all five LEGO Super Mario January 2024 sets have appeared on LEGO shop@home. This includes 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set which includes 107 pieces for a retail price of $9.99, making it the smallest set of the five releasing on 1st January 2024 for the LEGO Super Mario theme. As the name suggests, the LEGO Super Mario build is a fun, cartoon-like brick-built tree which sits on a green plate. A smaller green plate is also included which one of the two Yoshi's included in 71428 can sit on. Sadly, these Yoshi's aren't exclusive with one being yellow and the other being pink. The most exciting element of the set is the exclusive Yoshi egg which includes printed spots of green on the usual LEGO egg piece. 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set Set Name - Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set Set Number - 71428 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 107 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

One LEGO Monkie Kid set for 2024 has already been officially revealed of 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary but we're still waiting for at least four more. All these five sets, including the $190 Megapolis, will release on 1st January 2024 and as the release date edges ever closer we now have pictures of another LEGO Monkie Kid set. This is 80051 Monkie Kid Mini Mech which leaked thanks to a Chinese LEGO page and was found by Brick Clicker on YouTube. The LEGO Monkie Kid set is the second cheapest of the January 2024 retailing for roughly $29.99 with 300 pieces. Those pieces are used to create another mech for the LEGO Monkie Kid theme which is basically a much smaller version of 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech. Similar to 80045, the inside of the mech only has space for one Minifigure which will this time be Monkie Kid himself. It's also likely for that $30 price tag that Monkie Kid may be the only Minifigure along with possibly a small side build for the mech. 80051 Monkie Kid Mini Mech Set Name - Monkie Kid Mini Mech Set Number - 80051 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 300 (rough estimate) Price - $29.99 (rough estimate) Release Date - 1st January 2024

It was only earlier today we got our first look at a LEGO City set but we now have leaked images of another set from the unlicensed theme. In particular, this is 60413 Fire Rescue Plane which was leaked thanks to a Chinese LEGO page and found by Brick Clicker on YouTube. 60413, along with over 20 more LEGO City sets, will release on 1st January 2024 with 478 pieces and a retail price of $59.99. That $60 price tag for just under 500 pieces may seem fairly harsh but, as the leaked image shows, some bigger parts are used in this LEGO City set. Bigger moulded pieces for the cockpit, wings and tail of the Fire Rescue Plane all feature in 60413 in the usual Fire Rescue red. A small line of yellow also appears at the front of the plane along with some hints of black on the belly of the plane and the wings. 60413 Fire Rescue Plane also includes a play feature within the plane. Circular 2x2 pieces in a sea-through blue are used to represent water which can be put inside the plane from the top and then output from the bottom using a hidden feature. We then expect a small fire side build to be included for you to aim the circular 2x2 pieces of water at. For $60 around two to three Minifigures will also be included with at least one being a firefighter. 60413 Fire Rescue Plane Set Name - Fire Rescue Plane Set Number - 60413 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 478 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

As reveal season edges ever closer we're now seeing our first leaks online of LEGO sets releasing on 1st January 2024. These include 60433 Modular Space Station which was leaked thanks to a Chinese LEGO page and found by Brick Clicker on YouTube. 60433, along with over 20 more LEGO City sets, will release on 1st January 2024 with 1,097 pieces and a fairly sensible retail price of $99.99. As the name suggests, 60433 is a brand new LEGO City Space Station this time built around a modular system. The set is an extremely interesting and different concept for the LEGO City line with a central giant ring being the place where separate parts of the space station can be connected. Each part of the space station is basically a brick-built pod coloured white and orange to match the usual LEGO City Space theme. The exact interiors of each pod are unknown but we expect an area for growing vegetation, a satellite and a sleeping quarter. For $99.99, we expect this to be the main and only build of 60433 but at least five space-themed Minifigures should be included. 60433 Modular Space Station Set Name - Modular Space Station Set Number - 60433 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 1,097 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

The second LEGO Gift With Purchase with this year's LEGO Black Friday event has been officially revealed. The LEGO Creator branded set of 40602 Winter Market Stall will be available alongside the now-revealed 40601 Majisto's Magical Workshop GWP. Just like 40601, will appear for both LEGO's VIP weekend (18th - 19th November) and Black Friday (24th - 27th November) for a lower threshold As previously mentioned, the set is branded under the LEGO Creator theme, being aimed at younger audiences similar to 40597 Scary Pirate Island. But 40602 Winter Market Stall is one of the main festive promotional sets that will be available in the lead-up to Christmas. As the name suggests, for 271 pieces 40602 is a brick-built version of a festive village market stall in some winter scenery. The stall is mainly brown with some hints of tan too which match perfectly with the red and green of the stockings. The stall is selling a rocket, a toy soldier and a blue train. Two Minifigures are included of the stall worker and a young boy along with a cute snowman build. 40602 Winter Market Stall GWP Set Name - Winter Market Stall GWP Set Number - 40602 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 271 Price - GWP $170 Release Date - 18th November 2023

Nostalgic LEGO sets have been very popular in the last few years as LEGO have continued to celebrate its 90 years of history. 2023 marks 91 years since the birth of LEGO yet Wizards, Knights, Kings and Queens still excite and intrigue fans of all ages. And so will the upcoming Gift With Purchase of 40601 Majisto's Magical Workshop which will be available from the 18th of November 2023. The brand-new GWP includes 365 pieces and two throwback Minifigures. These include an updated Majisto himself along with a female Dragon Knight Minifigure who comes with a new torso and headpiece but with only a sword and no shield. The rest of the build is then used to recreate a modern version of Majisto's Magical Workshop. The magic workshop measures 19 cm high, 17 cm wide and 13 cm deep and can be opened up to access the interior. Here there's not much space or much going on apart from a chest and a small dining area with two wine glasses. This may not sound like much and for a threshold of $250 it might be tough to get but 40601 will be available on both LEGO's VIP weekend (18th - 19th November) and on Black Friday (24th - 27th November). We also imagine that the Gift With Purchase will return at some other point early next year so there should be plenty of opportunities to get your hands on 40601 Majisto's Magical Workshop. 40601 Majisto's Magical Workshop GWP Set Name - Majisto's Magical Workshop GWP Set Number - 40601 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 365 Price - GWP over $250 Release Date - 18th November 2023

LEGO 4+ sets have been very common in different LEGO themes including LEGO NINJAGO. And that trend is set to continue into 2024 with at least one 4+ branded model releasing next year. In particular, this is 71804 Arin's Battle Mech which for $14.99 will include 104 pieces which are usually bigger and less detailed as it's a 4+ set. Either way, the $15 LEGO NINJAGO set will include two Minifigures of the ninja Arin and a wolf figure with a new moulded head. The main build of the set is unsurprisingly Arin's Mech making it the Minifigure's second-ever mech. A small terrain build is also included in the 104 pieces for the 1st January 2024 set. 71804 Arin's Battle Mech Set Name - Arin's Battle Mech Set Number - 71804 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 104 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Three brand new LEGO NINJAGO 'gimmick' sets are among the many sets releasing for one of LEGO's most successful unlicensed themes. This year the three LEGO NINJAGO 'gimmick' sets are Dragon Gliders for the characters of Kai, Nya and Arin. Each set includes its respective Minifigure along with its own brick-built glider. For $9.99, each set also includes a new warrior for the LEGO NINJAGO universe who includes a wolf mask print. This makes 71801, 71802 and 71803 all include two Minifigures and a small glider build with piece counts ranging from 24 to 27 showing that the builds are unlikely to be very different. All of these three 'gimmick' sets release with plenty more detailed and more expensive LEGO NINJAGO sets on 1st January 2024. 71801 Kai's Dragon Glider Set Name - Kai's Dragon Glider Set Number - 71801 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 24 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71802 Nya's Dragon Glider Set Name - Nya's Dragon Glider Set Number - 71802 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 26 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024 71803 Arin's Dragon Glider Set Name - Arin's Dragon Glider Set Number - 71803 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 27 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

As of June this year, the LEGO NINJAGO theme went into its next reboot, Dragon's Rising and we've received a whole wave of sets based on the new series. And the next two waves of sets, January 2024 and March 2024, will continue following our new protagonists of the series Arin and Sora. Unsurprisingly, the January 2024 wave for the LEGO NINJAGO theme consists of another few 'gimmick' sets, the dragon gliders. The Ninja's Kai, Nya and Arin each get one of these under the set numbers 71801, 71802 and 71803. Each kite glider consists of 24 to 27 pieces and retails for a high price of $10.99. Further January 2024 sets consist of many small mechs each controlled by a Ninja. There's 71804 Arin's Battle Mech, 71805 Jay's Battle Mech, 71806 Cole's Earth Mech, 71807 Sora's Tech Mech and 71808 Kai's Fire Mech. The last one of those, 71808 is the largest and most expensive of all the small mech sets with 322 pieces retailing for $29.99. But the biggest set releasing on 1st January 2024 is 71809 Egalt The Master Dragon which consists of 532 pieces retailing for $69.99. Once again that price is very high but this should be a much more substantial build compared to the dragon gliders and small mechs. Fortunately, a slightly more varied range of sets will be releasing on 1st March 2024. The month starts with 71810 Riyu The Baby Dragon which for $14.99 may include the very rare and valuable San Diego Comic Con exclusive Riyu figure. 71811 Arin's Ninja Off-Road Buggy will also release in march but for a much higher price of $49.99 with only 267 pieces. Finally, March 2024 finishes with a humongous set of 71819 Dragonstone Temple.
