LEGO Super Mario 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set Officially Revealed | January 2024

After a leak just under a week ago, official images of all five LEGO Super Mario January 2024 sets have appeared on LEGO shop@home. This includes 71428 Yoshi's Egg-cellent Forest Expansion Set which includes 107 pieces for a retail price of $9.99, making it the smallest set of the five releasing on 1st January 2024 for the LEGO Super Mario theme.

As the name suggests, the LEGO Super Mario build is a fun, cartoon-like brick-built tree which sits on a green plate. A smaller green plate is also included which one of the two Yoshi's included in 71428 can sit on. Sadly, these Yoshi's aren't exclusive with one being yellow and the other being pink. The most exciting element of the set is the exclusive Yoshi egg which includes printed spots of green on the usual LEGO egg piece.
