One of the biggest LEGO Technic sets of 2024 will be a classic for the theme with it being a model that includes a pneumatic pump amongst many other play features. In particular, this LEGO Technic set is the 10+ model of 42175 Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator. Another vehicle for the theme launching on the 1st of August 2024 will retail for $199.99 with a total of 2,274 pieces included. The main build of the set is of course the Volvo branded truck but we also get a flatbed trailer, an electric excavator and a charging station. The truck is white with openable doors and a tiltable hood allowing access to its 6-cylinder moving piston engine. The brick-built truck can then be steered into position, followed be the detachment of the trailer allowing the ramp to be folded down and the excavator rolled off. The yellow electric excavator build comes with openable doors just like the truck and plenty more fun play features including the pneumatic pump. I t can swivel 360 degrees on its tracks and then use the pneumatic pump to lift and lower the scoop just like real-life construction workers. This along with the truck, flatbed and charging station make for an incredible $200 set measuring over 25 cm in length. 42175 Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator Set Name - Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator Set Number - 42175 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 2,274 Price - $199.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42175 Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? The 10+ Technic model which will release as both a grey version and a white version on the 1st of August 2024 includes a total of 801 pieces retailing for $49.99. Of course, 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar is the grey version with many elements of the car being grey along with a couple of orange lines along the hood and the side bodywork. The seats and interior of the vehicle is also orange. 2024 has been the year for LEGO and Space with an array of models releasing from playsets to 18+ display models and now another GWP. We've already seen a LEGO Space-themed Gift With Purchase release in 2024 of 40712 Microscale Rocket Launchpad and now another one has been officially revealed and will be available in just a matter of days. In particular, this is the 40687 Alien Space Diner which releases as a Gift with Purchase on the 14th of May 2024. With such an action-packed, Space-heavy few months so far from the LEGO theme, this GWP further expands our range of intergalactic models with the 239 pieces included in 40687 used to create a Diner for Aliens and astronauts travelling across the infinite amount of LEGO galaxies. The GWP features a small space-themed diner which is similar to previous brick-built diners but with added space accessories. For example, some stars, a small rocket and a UFO are all included as mini-builds in 40687's Alien Space Diner. A sign for the the diner is also included which is sadly a sticker not a print of the word 'DINER' in a cool space-like formatting. A diner can't be complete without a chef and this chef is slightly different as it's a green alien. The alien chef is brick-built and includes three eyes along with two arms in which he can hold his pots, pans, whisks and any other delicious food he cooks up. Two Classic Space Minifigures are also included with one of them being white and the other being orange with the usual Classic Space logo on their torsos. 40687 Alien Space Diner GWP Set Name - Alien Space Diner GWP Set Number - 40687 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 239 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 14th May 2024 Our second LEGO Space GWP becomes available from the 14th of May 2024 but what do you think? Are you liking all these Space-themed models in 2024? What do you hope the currently unknown threshold is for this May 2024 GWP? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

The LEGO Icons theme produces a range of sets each year ranging from one-off licenses and vehicles to iconic brick-built buildings and vehicles. The popular 18+ theme isn't done there though as LEGO are set to introduce some music-themed sets into their collection of models aimed at adults starting with the now officially revealed 10334 Retro Radio. From the 4th of June 2024, you'll be able to get your hands on the first ever LEGO brick-built radio which includes a total of 906 pieces for $99.99. The Retro Radio will be coming in a beautiful green-aqua colour, creating a perfect display model that measures 23 cm wide and 32 cm high. The 18+ model includes a foldable handle and antenna, classic power and tuning dials and a sliding frequency switch. For $100, 10334 Retro Radio will also include our second sound brick of 2024 after the LEGO Harry Potter D2C of 76249 Talking Sorting Hat which released back in March. The Sorting Hat included over 30 different sounds so expect this LEGO Icons model to include a similar amount if not more. The LEGO designers have also included a section to place your phone at the back of the radio allowing further sounds and music to be played. 10334 Retro Radio Set Name - Retro Radio Set Number - 10341 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 906 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 4th June 2024 10334 Retro Radio releases on the 4th of June 2024 with LEGO Insiders have access as early as the 1st of June but what do you think? 2024 marks the fifth year of LEGO Super Mario sets with the theme being a rare LEGO theme which doesn't include any Minifigures. The gaming theme instead makes use of Digfigs which interact with pre-stickered tiles allowing you to engage with LEGO versions of Super Mario enemies. As with all LEGO sets, but especially Super Mario models, customization is key, allowing a range of brick-built Super Mario courses to be made. LEGO have now officially presented the next wave of LEGO Super Mario sets with eight brand new models launching on the 1st of August 2024. We already got our first look at 71435 Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle, 71436 King Boo's Haunted Mansion and 71437 The Bowser Express Train back in March for the Mario Day celebrations. But now LEGO have showcased the remaining five sets including the three brand new Starter Courses. These are Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario, 71440 Adventures with Interactive LEGO Luigi and 71441 Adventures with Interactive LEGO Peach which will all retail for $10 less than the original Starter Courses. Their piece counts, even though slightly smaller, are more reasonable and friendly in terms of price per piece ratio. However, the new Starter Course are still expensive due to the amount of technology and large elements used for the Digfigs. But not only are these three Starter Courses more accessible in terms of price, they also include updated Digfigs. The designs of Mario, Luigi and Peach are basically the same with possibly some minor clean-ups here and there, but the technology behind the interactive characters is expected to improve the most. A couple of hardware and software updates are expected to avoid future malfunctioning of Digfigs. The August 2024 wave is basically a reboot for the LEGO Super Mario theme with the three new Starter Courses and a decent range of sets, featuring new builds, a brand new maker set and plenty of returning but also new characters. A lot of these sets also have more friendly price-per-piece ratios indicating a shift from the LEGO Super Mario team to encourage the models to be brought for both play and display. 71433 Goombas' Playground Set Name - Goombas' Playground Set Number - 71433 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 173 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71434 Soda Jungle Maker Set Set Name - Soda Jungle Maker Set Set Number - 71434 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 598 Price - $54.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71435 Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle Set Name - Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle Set Number - 71435 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 738 Price - $64.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71436 King Boo's Haunted Mansion Set Name - King Boo's Haunted Mansion Set Number - 71436 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 932 Price - $74.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71437 The Bowser Express Train Set Name - The Bowser Express Train Set Number - 71437 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - 1,392 Price - $119.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71439 Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario Set Name - Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario Set Number - 71439 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 218 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71440 Adventures with Interactive LEGO Luigi Set Name - Adventures with Interactive LEGO Luigi Set Number - 71440 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 210 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 71441 Adventures with Interactive LEGO Peach Set Name - Adventures with Interactive LEGO Peach Set Number - 71441 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 208 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 The next wave of LEGO Super Mario sets release on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? It's been just over two months since our first LEGO Animal Crossing sets hit shelves but we already have official pictures of the licensed gaming themes next wave. The initial wave launched with a total of five sets but on the 1st of August 2024, we'll only be getting another two as LEGO prepares themselves for more Animal Crossing releases next year. These two sets are 77051 Fly with Dodo Airlines and 77052 K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza. 77051 Fly with Dodo Airlines is the cheapest of the two Summer models retailing for $37.99 with a total of 292 pieces included. The August 2024 set recreates Dodo Airlines where players in-game can go and visit other islands. Minifigures of Tangy the cat and Dodo Airlines pilot Wilburm are included with the latter of the two having a blue Dodo Airlines plane to fly in. Along with the plane, we also get the blue Dodo Airlines airport and control tower. Then we have 77052 K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza which includes 550 pieces and three Minifigures for $79.99. These three Minifigures, like 77051, are all exclusive of K.K., Isabelle and Audie. Unsurprisingly, K.K. includes his guitar and a microphone to play his music in front of the orange and purple brick-built Town Hall. Inside the Town Hall, builders can get a DIY recipe card, redeem rewards at the ATM and check the recycle box for new items. 77051 Fly with Dodo Airlines Set Name - Fly with Dodo Airlines Set Number - 77051 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 292 Price - $37.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 77052 K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza Set Name - K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza Set Number - 77052 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 550 Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 Both of these brand-new LEGO Animal Crossing sets launch on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? The LEGO Friends theme has continued to grow further in popularity over recent years and this summer wave looks to appeal to an even wider group of brick builders. Already we've had a Winter 2024 wave of LEGO Friends and now we have official images of the Summer 2024 wave - the second and final range of LEGO Friends sets in 2024. A total of 11 models are releasing on the 1st of June 2024 once again covering the main eight characters/minidolls of the themes and TV series. The second biggest set of the wave might have an obvious presence in one of the upcoming episodes of the TV series with 42638 Castle Bed and Breakfast. The $99.99 set is a medieval-like B&B complete with three floors and a stone roof giving plenty of castle vibes throughout the build. Another interesting mix of concepts will be the 4+ model of 42635 Dog Grooming Car. The younger targeted set will be taking a dog grooming service on the move allowing access to all the many different dog breeds in Heartlake City. At the $9.99 price point, a dog-themed simple-to-build car is included along with two dog moulds and two minidolls. The other 4+ set of the Summer wave is 42636 Heartlake City Preschool which retails for $49.99 with 239 pieces. The last set that we'll go into detail here is the biggest set of the wave of 42631 Adventure Camp Tree House which retails for $129.99 with 1,128 pieces. Many treehouses, small and large, have been seen in the LEGO Friends theme but this will be the biggest of them all and looks to be a camping haven. Three brick-built trees are connected via ropes, bridges and plenty of other cool builds allowing access to plenty of fun inside the grand old bark of the LEGO trees. 42618 Heartlake City Cafe Set Name - Heartlake City Cafe Set Number - 42618 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 426 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42622 Adventure Camp Archery Range Set Name - Adventure Camp Archery Range Set Number - 42622 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 157 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42623 Beach Water Scooter Set Name - Beach Water Scooter Set Number - 42623 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 84 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42624 Adventure Camp Cozy Cabins Set Name - Adventure Camp Cozy Cabins Set Number - 42624 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 437 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42625 Beach Smoothie Stand Set Name - Beach Smoothie Stand Set Number - 42625 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 213 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42626 Adventure Camp Water Sports Set Name - Adventure Camp Water Sports Set Number - 42626 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 628 Price - $69.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42630 Heartlake City Water Park Set Name - Heartlake City Water Park Set Number - 42630 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 814 Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42631 Adventure Camp Tree House Set Name - Adventure Camp Tree House Set Number - 42631 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 1,128 Price - $129.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42635 Dog Grooming Car Set Name - Dog Grooming Car Set Number - 42635 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 60 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42636 Heartlake City Preschool Set Name - Heartlake City Preschool Set Number - 42636 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 239 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 42638 Castle Bed and Breakfast Set Name - Castle Bed and Breakfast Set Number - 42638 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,311 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 Eleven sets from the LEGO Friends line will be releasing from the 1st of June 2024 but what do you think? Exotic animals, the never-ending depths of space and now historic real-world art make up LEGO Art's lineup of sets in 2024 with the recent LEGO Art official presentation. In particular, it's 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy will be our third LEGO Art set of the year after 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy releases on the 18th of May 2024. It will release on the 1st of October 2024 retailing for $99.99 with a total of 1,503 pieces. Unsurprisingly, the brick-built 18+ model is a recreation of the renowned painting the Mona Lisa. Italian Artist Leonardo da Vinci was the one who painted the art all the way back in the 1500s. Today, the painting is celebrated for its enigmatic expression, meticulous detail, and the use of the sfumato technique, which creates soft transitions between colours and tones in an extremely detailed and artistic manner. 31213 Mona Lisa is 43 cm high and 30 cm wide with a beautiful gold frame surrounding the artistic piece which can easily be detached and used on other LEGO Art sets similar to the black frame from 31212. Also similar to the LEGO recreation of the Milky Way Galaxy, Mona Lisa is a combination of tiles, studs and raised plates with her eyes even being printed. However, LEGO has also included the option to replace these printed eyes with black pieces for a more artistic look. 31213 Mona Lisa Set Name - Mona Lisa Set Number - 31213 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,503 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 31213 Mona Lisa is the third and most likely the final LEGO Art set of 2024 once it releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 31213 to hang on your wall? What other real-life art would you like to see in brick-built LEGO form? Let us know your opinions and thoughts in the comments below.

Similar to the last couple of years, the LEGO Architecture theme will only be getting one, big 18+ model release in 2024. 2022 saw 21058 Great Pyramid of Giza and 2023 saw 21060 Himeji Castle but neither will be as big as 2024s 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris. The 1st of June 2024 set will retail for $229.99 with a total of 4,383 pieces making it the biggest LEGO Architecture set ever after its official reveal earlier today. The famous Cathedral of the Notre Dame is located in the city centre of France, Paris and has been there since it was built back in 1163. However, only five years ago back in 2019, a massive fire engulfed the Cathedral resulting in its closure as repairs took place. Luckily Notre Dame Cathedral is set to reopen last there year and is getting the brick-built LEGO treatment to celebrate its reopening. In LEGO form, the microscale Notre Dame Cathedral is around two baseplates in length (22cm wide), similar to the largest LEGO Icons Modular Buildings. The roof and towers of the Notre Dame can be easily removed allowing access to an extremely detailed interior. Inside, the cathedral continues with the microscale builds with there being some beautifully crafted columns, arches and a rounded nave. The exterior of the Cathedral has the iconic rose windows and central spires with some fun but highly detailed sculptures. The biggest LEGO Architecture set is finished with a printed black display plaque displaying the name of the 18+ model: Notre-Dame de Paris. This fits perfectly with the diorama-like black base stretching around the whole of 4,383 pieced set which is an extremely welcome and necessary inclusion for such a historic and religious buildings 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris Set Name - Notre-Dame de Paris Set Number - 21061 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 4,383 Price - $229.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 The biggest LEGO Architecture set ever releases on the 1st of June 2024 but what do you think? After April's highly popular 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: The Red Dragon's Tale, on the 1st of June 2024 we'll be seeing the fifth LEGO Ideas model of 2024 release. In particular, our third unlicensed LEGO Ideas set of the year is 21349 Tuxedo Cat based on the model entitled 'Cat' by fan designer The Yellow Brick. The official model will retail for $99.99 with a total of 1,710 pieces included. As the name suggests, the 18+ model is entirely a brick-built LEGO version of a Tuxedo (or bicolour) Cat. The LEGO Cat is coloured mainly black but with a few hints of white around its nose, underneath its chin and on its belly. Its paws are also white along with the tip of its tail which circles around its beautifully sat brick built position. The brick-built cat is 25cm tall with plenty of features included to make it more than just a display model. The cat's head can be rotated, ears adjusted and paws and tail moved to create plenty of different poses. Two printed brown and blue eyes are included which can be swapped around to add customisation to the model. Even its mouth can be changed to be either opened or closed during the building process. 21349 Tuxedo Cat Set Name - Tuxedo Cat Set Number - 21349 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,710 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024 21349 Tuxedo Cat releases on the 1st of June 2024 as the fifth LEGO Ideas project of the year but what do you think? After last year's introduction into the brick-building world, the 4+ LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse is set to continue for at least another year with three brand-new sets being officially revealed over the last couple of days. The popular Netflix show debuted in LEGO form with four sets releasing on the 1st of August 2023 and now three more models will release on the 1st of June 2024 for the entirely 4+ theme. All three of the Summer 2024 models retail below $50 making them a lot more affordable especially compared to 10788 Gabby's Dollhouse which retails for $99.99. The most expensive set of this wave is 10797 Gabby's Party Room which retails for $49.99 with a total of 252 pieces. The set is a crazy, party build with plenty of areas to dance and sing underneath the printed cat disco ball along with many moulded characters. Then we have 10796 Gabby's Kitty Care Ear which includes 165 pieces for $39.99. Two waves of LEGO NINJAGO sets have already hit shelves in 2024 but our ninjas will be debuting new models once again in less than a months time thanks to the latest official presentation from LEGO. On the 1st of June 2024, we'll be getting our third and final LEGO NINJAGO wave of 2024 consisting of six brand new sets including our first and only LEGO NINJAGO D2C of the year. Last year, 71799 LEGO NINJAGO City Markets released as the themes biggest ever D2C and therefore its biggest ever set. But in 2024 LEGO will be moving away from the subtheme of LEGO NINJAGO City D2Cs and will instead be releasing 71814 Tournament Temple City. The $249.99 set with 3,489 pieces is a beautifully, detailed brick-built temple with a dark blue and cream colour scheme sat on top of a well-crafted stone cave. Another big model of the wave is 71822 Source Dragon of Motion which will retail for $149.99 with a total of 1,716 pieces. The Summer 2024 model is breaking records as the biggest LEGO dragon ever which is coloured mainly different shades of red along with plenty of hints of gold. A total of six Minifigures are also included with the mighty dragon including the villainous trio o f Lord Ras, Jordana and a Wolf Mask Warrior. From the biggest set of the wave to the smallest set of the wave of 71816 Zane's Ice Motorcycle. For 84 pieces, the summer set will retail for $9.99 with the main and only building being a motorcycle with ice blades. Another standard LEGO NINJAGO set is of course a brand new mech of 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech. It will retail for $99.99 with 1,105 pieces making it one of the biggest mechs in LEGO NINJAGO history! Finally, that leaves us with two more sets: 71818 Tournament Battle Arena and 71820 Combo Ninja Vehicle. The former of these is one the most appealing and interesting sets of the wave with 659 pieces and six Minifigures for only $49.99. Sadly the same can't be said for 71820 which includes 576 pieces for $89.99 to recreate a large 4-in1 vehicle. Once separated the four vehicles include Sora’s glider, Lloyd’s off-road racer and Cole and Nya’s motorcycles. 71814 Tournament Temple City Set Name - Tournament Temple City Set Number - 71814 Age Range - 14+ Piece Count - 3,489 Price - $249.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 71816 Zane's Ice Motorcycle Set Name - Zane's Ice Motorcycle Set Number - 71816 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 84 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 71818 Tournament Battle Arena Set Name - Tournament Battle Arena Set Number - 71818 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 659 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 71820 Ninja Team Combo Vehicle Set Name - Ninja Team Combo Vehicle Set Number - 71820 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 576 Price - $89.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech Set Name - Cole's Titan Dragon Mech Set Number - 71821 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,055 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 71822 Source Dragon of Motion Set Name - Source Dragon of Motion Set Number - 71822 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 1,716 Price - $149.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 All six of these LEGO NINJAGO sets release on the 1st of June 2024 but what do you think? Currently, LEGO DC fans have only had one set release in 2024 but all that is about to change on the 1st of June 2024. 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City has been the only LEGO DC set of 2024 so far, an amazing display model but for those looking at more affordable sets, $300 is a bit much. Luckily, on the 1st of June 2024, four brand new LEGO DC and Batman models will be hitting shelves which have now been officially revealed. We've already seen a construction figure of Batman and now we're seeing a mech based on the dark knight with 76270 Batman Mech Armor. For $14.99, 140 pieces are included to create a mech which is mainly coloured black and dark grey. The mech features a buildable Batarang, a stud launcher on the lower arm, a movable two-piece cape and a jetpack. A singular Minifigure of Batman is also included with a fabric cape. Another less exciting and overdone set is 4+ Batcaves and we're having another one in 2024 with 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker. The model aimed at younger audiences will retail for $34.99 with 184 pieces and three Minifigures included. These are Batman, Batgirl and Joker with the latter of the two also having vehicles included in this set. The small Batcave includes a catapult, a disc shooter and an exploding door as its play features. Luckily our next LEGO DC model is a little more exciting and interesting with it being 76273 Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike. The $64.99 set with 713 pieces is in the same scale as 2023s 76259 Batman Construction Figure and even includes another Batman Construction Figure but this time based on the Dark Knight. The Bat-Pod isn't much of a build but does include two large wheels and two stud shooters. Last but not least we have another set based on Batman: The Animated Series with this unsurprisingly being a brand new Batmobile. The vehicle includes a total of 435 pieces to build it which also includes a display stand with a plaque similar to previous LEGO DC batmobiles. Batman, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze are the three Minifigures included to make up the $59.99 Summer 2024 model. 76270 Batman Mech Armor Set Name - Batman Mech Armor Set Number - 76270 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 140 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker Set Name - The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker Set Number - 76272 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 184 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 76273 Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike Set Name - Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike Set Number - 76273 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 713 Price - $64.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr Freeze Set Name - Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr Freeze Set Number - 76274 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 435 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st June 2024 Finally, LEGO DC fans will be getting more sets in 2024 as all four of these models release on the 1st of June 2024 but what do you think?
