It's been just over two months since our first LEGO Animal Crossing sets hit shelves but we already have official pictures of the licensed gaming themes next wave. The initial wave launched with a total of five sets but on the 1st of August 2024, we'll only be getting another two as LEGO prepares themselves for more Animal Crossing releases next year. These two sets are 77051 Fly with Dodo Airlines and 77052 K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza.
77051 Fly with Dodo Airlines is the cheapest of the two Summer models retailing for $37.99 with a total of 292 pieces included. The August 2024 set recreates Dodo Airlines where players in-game can go and visit other islands. Minifigures of Tangy the cat and Dodo Airlines pilot Wilburm are included with the latter of the two having a blue Dodo Airlines plane to fly in. Along with the plane, we also get the blue Dodo Airlines airport and control tower.
Then we have 77052 K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza which includes 550 pieces and three Minifigures for $79.99. These three Minifigures, like 77051, are all exclusive of K.K., Isabelle and Audie. Unsurprisingly, K.K. includes his guitar and a microphone to play his music in front of the orange and purple brick-built Town Hall. Inside the Town Hall, builders can get a DIY recipe card, redeem rewards at the ATM and check the recycle box for new items.
