- LEGO Icons 11373 The Lord of the Rings: Sauron Bust Rumoured For March 2026
2025 has treated us to two LEGO The Lord of the Rings branded sets, and 2026 looks to continue this trend and the LEGO Icons subtheme. The first of these, just like June's 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook , is the cheaper of the two, taking inspiration from previous builds seen in other licensed LEGO themes. In particular, 11373 will be a completely brick-built bust of the main antagonist himself, Sauron. 11373 The Lord of the Rings: Sauron Bust will capture the Dark Lord in his most iconic form, with his menacing helmet recreated in brick-built LEGO form for a retail price of $74.99 / €74.99 / £64.99. The 18+ models 538 pieces will mainly focus on shaping the distinctive jagged crown-like spikes that rise from the helm. The bust will then be cut off around the neck and upper chest, showcasing a small section of the character's armour-like shaping beneath the helmet. The bust will mainly be coloured a mix of grey and dark grey, but may possibly include a hint of trans orange to suggest the fiery Eye of Sauron glare. Along with the brick-built Sauron, a LEGO Minifigure version of the dark, powerful character will also be included, identical to his appearance in 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr . The bust and Minifigure will then be placed on a simple black display stand, similar to 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust and 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust released earlier this year. 11373 The Lord of the Rings: Sauron Bust Set Name - The Lord of the Rings: Sauron Bust Set Number - 11373 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 538 Price - $74.99 / €74.99 / £64.99 Release Date - 1st March 2026 11373 The Lord of the Rings: Sauron Bust releases on the 1st of March 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 11373 in 2026? What do you hope the second The Lord of the Rings set of 2026 will be? Would you like to see more brick-built busts in the future? - LEGO Architecture 21064 Paris Rumoured For January 2026
After releasing only a couple of sets each of the past few years, the LEGO Architecture theme is set to have a much busier 2026. The 18+ line of brick-built models will have its first of four sets for the new year released on the 1st of January 2026. This set in particular is 21064 Paris, taking us back to the beautiful and culture-packed streets of France. The 2026 model will include a total of 958 pieces retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99. 21064 Paris is likely to be similar to the familiar LEGO Architecture Skyline sets, which already includes a model based on the French Capital of 21044 Paris. The 12+ model retires at the end of this year and includes over 300 fewer pieces than the upcoming 2026 set. This suggests that we can expect a much more detailed, colourful and realistic brick-built interpretation of the beautiful city of Paris. At the centre of the set, we can expect the Eiffel Tower to take centre stage, built slightly taller and including a much more detailed and accurate lattice structure. Either side of it, we may find brick-built interpretations of the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre or the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, for example. Each is built in this small but detailed micro-scale format, accompanied by possibly a few splashes of green for the Champs-Élysées gardens and transparent blue elements representing the River Seine. 21064 Paris Set Name - Paris Set Number - 21064 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 958 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 Release Date - 1st January 2026 21064 Paris releases on the 1st of January 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21064 at the start of the new year? Do you currently own 21044 Paris? What brick-built monuments and structures would you like to see in this latest version of the French capital? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

- LEGO Teases Exclusive LEGO NINJAGO 15th Anniversary Minifigures For 2026
The LEGO Group have given us our first look at some 2026 bricks for the LEGO NINJAGO theme ahead of another milestone for the homgrown line of sets. Thanks to content creators lucky enough to attend Fan Media Days 2025 in Billund, Denmark, we have a sneak preview of LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary celebrations, which begin as early as the 1st of January 2026. Those at the event were shown a LEGO NINJAGO -themed display stand, decorated with an exclusive NINJAGO 15th anniversary logo and seven completely black Minifigures. Obviously, these mysterious silhouettes are just placeholders, hiding the true identity of the exclusive NINJAGO-themed LEGO Minifigures , which are expected to appear across seven different sets. The display stand that they were presented on will also reportedly appear across the same seven sets. The theme celebrated its 10th anniversary in a very similar fashion, releasing exclusive golden LEGO NINJAGO -themed Minifigures across a range of sets. A repeat will probably happen in 2026, but whether they appear completely gold, include exclusive printing, new characters or a throwback to original designs/versions is completely unknown. Apart from the Minifigure found in the middle of the red, black and gold display stand, six out of the seven figures appear to be identical. The central LEGO Minifigure features a straw hat and a staff, possibly suggesting an exclusive version of Sensei Wu, but the figure doesn't include Wu's distinctive beard. Does this mean that we're getting the First Spinjitzu Master instead? Or is it someone completely different, and LEGO are trying to throw us off the scent? The LEGO Group have teased the exclusive LEGO NINJAGO 15th anniversary Minifigures for 2026, but what do you think? Any guesses as to what the seven Minifigures could be? What other anniversary celebrations would you like to see from the theme? Which of the 23 LEGO NINJAGO sets releasing on the 1st of January 2026 will you be purchasing? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- Brand New LEGO Pokémon Theme Officially Announced For 2026
And just like that after this morning's early leaked tease from LEGO themselves, the Danish toy manufacturers have gone ahead and officially announced the latest license in its ever-growing portfolio: LEGO Pokémon. The theme is confirmed to be launching in 2026, becoming one of many LEGO gaming themes and the second theme based on an anime franchise after this Summers brand new LEGO One Piece theme. The tease, which we got our first look at earlier today , unsurprisingly shows the most iconic Pikachu in brick-built LEGO form. Unfortunately, only his tail is actually shown off but that somewhat tells us that we can expect a range of brick-built Pokémon in this brand-new theme including the likes of Charizard and Eevee which are further well-known and iconic characters from the franchise. An official LEGO Pokémon page has also appeared on LEGO shop@home which, like the tease on LEGO's social media accounts, doesn't give away any details on the kind of sets we can expect from the 2026 theme. However, to be announced almost a year in advance of its release suggests that big things could be coming from this new license: brick-built Pokémon creatures, iconic locations, exclusive characters and possibly even a Minifigure series? The possibilities are well and truly endless. " We are thrilled to be working with a brand that has such a deep and passionate fanbase as Pokémon, partnering to give our joint audiences what they have been asking us for, " said Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group. " We strongly believe that through the endless possibilities of LEGO play and the exciting adventures the world of Pokémon brings, this partnership will create a range of new possibilities for Trainers and builders alike. " " The LEGO Group and Pokémon have strong shared values of imagination, creativity and fun, making this the perfect partnership to deliver unique, meaningful and engaging ways for Trainers to experience the Pokémon brand " shared Gaku Susai, Chief Product and Experience Officer at The Pokémon Company International. " Working with the best-in-class team at the LEGO Group and seeing their dedication and passion for the project has culminated in an innovative and groundbreaking collaboration that will surprise and delight fans. We cannot wait to see both LEGO fans and the Pokémon community’s reactions in 2026. " LEGO Pokémon is the latest licensed LEGO theme and the first brand-new theme coming in 2026 but what do you think? What kind of builds, characters and Minifigures are you hoping for from this new theme? Is LEGO Pokémon a dream come true? Will the theme be primarily focused at children or adults or a mix of both? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- 3 LEGO Pokémon Sets Rumoured For February 2026
2026 will be another exciting, surprising and sometimes disappointing year of LEGO sets, but there's one theme in particular that everyone's excited to see: the brand new LEGO Pokémon line. Following the official announcement in March, news about the latest gaming-themed license has been few and far between. However, thanks to the ever-reliable Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, three sets are rumoured to be releasing at the start of the new year. These three sets are all 18+ sets, all launching on the 27th of February 2026 (Pokémon Day), and all part of the first of possibly three waves for the anime gaming theme. Out of the three models, 72153 is the biggest and most expensive, with a whopping 6,838 pieces retailing for $649.99 / €649.99 / £549.99. Likely one of the biggest sets in 2026, it recreates the Kanto starters of Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander in brick-built LEGO form. 72151 Eevee Our first LEGO Pokémon set is, just like the other two models on this list, a brick-built display model of the Pokémon Eevee. With 587 pieces retailing for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, current rumours such that Eevee will likely be built on a similar scale to 43249 Stitch but obviously targeted at an older audience. Eevee will obviously be built with her primarily brown fur and fox-like shape, along with a poseable head, ears, legs and a fluffy brick-built tail. Set Name - Eevee Set Number - 72151 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 587 Price - $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 Release Date - 27th February 2026 72152 Pikachu & Poké Ball You can't have a debut wave of LEGO Pokémon without the most iconic and loved Pokémon, Pikachu. The yellow Electric-type Mouse Pokémon is even larger than 72151 Eevee, retailing for $199.99 / €199.99 / £169.99 with a total of 2,050 pieces. The expected scale for 72152 Pikachu & Poké Ball is likely to be similar to 43269 101 Dalmatians Puppy . Just like the brick-built puppy, Pikachu will have plenty of articulation and will be displayed alongside an entirely brick-built Poké Ball. Set Name - Pikachu & Poké Ball Set Number - 72152 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,050 Price - $199.99 / €199.99 / £169.99 Release Date - 27th February 2026 72153 Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander And they just keep on getting bigger and more expensive as the final LEGO Pokémon set releasing on the 27th of February 2026 is 72153 Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander. The third 18+ model for the theme will almost function as a Pokémon Ultimate Collectors Series display set, retailing for $649.99 / €649.99 / £549.99 with an incredible 6,838 pieces included. Each of the three Pokémon, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, will likely be similar in size to Pikachu from 72152. Bulbasaur will likely feature a rounded body with a layered, brick-built bulb on its back, with poseable legs and head. Meanwhile, Squirtle could include a glossy, rounded shell and a twisting, curled tail compared to Charmander's flame tail, built using trans-orange and yellow pieces. Set Name - Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander Set Number - 72153 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 6,838 Price - $649.99 / €649.99 / £549.99 Release Date - 27th February 2026 All three of these LEGO Pokémon sets are rumoured to be releasing on the 27th of February 2026, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these models on Pokémon Day? What's your favourite and least favourite set of the wave? Are these sets too expensive? What would you like to see from non-18+ Summer LEGO Pokémon sets? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum Officially Revealed | September 2025
After months of speculation and excitement, LEGO has officially revealed 76300 Arkham Asylum, the final and biggest LEGO DC release of 2025. Launching on the 9th of September 2025, this highly anticipated 18+ Direct-to-Consumer set comes with 2,953 pieces retailing for $299.99 / €299.99 / £259.99. Designed as a detailed and atmospheric take on the infamous Gotham psychiatric facility, the model draws inspiration from the comics and follows in the footsteps of other large-scale LEGO superhero builds like 76269 Avengers Tower and 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion . This time, however, this giant brick-built Arkham Asylum is designed as an inverted corner modular building - a type of modular rarely seen amongst the plethora of LEGO sets. The building wraps around a central courtyard of the fictional psychiatric hospital, creating a unique U-shaped layout that feels more closed-in and secure, like a real high-security facility. The model is built on a standard baseplate with technic pin hole connections also included to display alongside previous LEGO modular buildings. For the exterior, Arkham Asylum features plenty of gothic architecture with tall spires, pointed arch windows, cracked stone walls and wrought iron fencing. The large front gate, one of many central points of the 18+ set, includes an archway with the "Arkham Asylum" sign built into it as multiple stickers/prints. Further decorative touches like gargoyle statues, overgrown vines and crumbling brick details also feature to demonstrate the building's old age and the eeriness of Gotham City. Inside, the Asylum is packed with play features, Easter eggs and detailed builds. It's split into three segments - the ground floor, first floor and roof - which can all be easily accessed via removable elements. Across these three segments, we can find a reception, a doctor’s office and a walkway between the many prison cells. At the cell block, with the many prison cells, there are sliding doors which can be opened simultaneously via a mechanism along with a control centre for the prison guards. 76300 Arkham Asylum is the largest LEGO DC set ever in terms of Minifigures, with an incredible 16 DC-inspired characters included in the 18+ model. Batman is obviously included alongside Robin, who's based on his appearance in the Arkham video game. Also included are Batwoman, Batwing, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Mr Freeze, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc, and two Security Guards. Six of the villains (including Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Bane, Killer Croc and Scarecrow) unfortunately include the same outfits as they are included in orange prison jumpsuits complete with leg printing. The rest, however, all feature unique facial expressions, torso and leg prints, and a range of DC-inspired accessories to make the perfect display and play model for the theme. Transparent stands, similar to those seen in LEGO Minifigures series and 2024's 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion , are included to display and pose each of the figures in multiple unique ways. Finally, the white inmate delivery van, also known as the Asylum Transporter, is also included in 76300 as a side build, which can house multiple Minifigures and drive into the front gate to deliver new villains to the Asylum. 76300 Arkham Asylum Set Name - Arkham Asylum Set Number - 76300 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,953 Price - $299.99 / €299.99 / £269.99 Release Date - 9th September 2025 76300 Arkham Asylum releases on the 9th of September 2025, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76300 in a few weeks time? What's your favourite feature of the most detailed version of Arkham Asylum yet? Which of the 16 Minifigures included in the 18+ model are you looking forward to getting the most? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

- October 2025 LEGO Promotional/GWP Set News: Everything We Know
October enters as one of the most eagerly anticipated months of the year, not just for Halloween fun and seasonal sets, but for the headline-grabbing release of 75419 Death Star . Beyond physical builds, Smart Play is designed to connect to apps and games, offering experiences that can potentially integrate with platforms such as Fortnite or Nintendo games. The LEGO Smart Brick: The Smartest Brick Ever We've already seen the LEGO Smart Brick, or at least an early, preliminary look, as the LEGO Group themselves accidentally showed official images of three LEGO City-branded test sets . These sets included 60691 Jungle Explorer Base Camp, 60692 The Lost Crocodile Temple and 60693 Survivor Island Seaplane, which were unfortunately only available for this specific beta test. LEGO describes it as "the smartest LEGO brick we’ve ever built." The Smart Brick reacts to everything builders do, from how it is held, moved, or incorporated into a build. Its main features include: LED Lighting and Sounds: The Smart brick adds a new dynamic to play with lights, character sounds and environmental effects. Sensors and Scannable Tags: Much like the technology used in the LEGO Super Mario theme, the Smart Brick will be able to detect colours, barcodes and RFID-enabled LEGO Minifigures . Electronic Minifigure Integration: Certain Smart Play Minifigures will be fully interactive, triggering effects on the Smart Brick and possibly responding to app-based events. These figures will have completely modified parts compared to standard LEGO Minifigures , resulting in the torso and legs being permanently attached. Wireless Charging: Smart Play and the Smart Brick will feature wireless charging, ensuring the brick can be used for extended periods of play. Reports claim this will involve a charging pad which creates a charging field, allowing built models with the brick to be placed on the pad. The 2024 LEGO City tests featured the Smart Brick in just one model: 60691 Jungle Explorer Base Camp. However, it was fully compatible with the other two, slightly smaller sets that still utilised the unique technology's functionality and playability. Smart Play Across Themes and Experiences LEGO’s vision for 2026 is to expand to integrate Smart Bricks and its associated technology across all themes and product lines, making Smart Play a central part of the LEGO experience. It will be company-wide wide creating a unique, interactive and hybrid play experience across nearly every set from classic LEGO themes to licensed IPs. Some themes which may debut LEGO Smart Play in 2026 include: LEGO Star Wars : Starships, droids and vehicles may feature interactive lights, sound effects and sensors, for example, allowing builders to simulate epic lightsaber battles. LEGO Pokémon : Electronic LEGO Pokémon Minifigures and the Smart Brick could simulate attacks, roars and special effects to recreate intense Pokémon battles in brick-built form. LEGO City : Emergency vehicles, construction equipment and city scenes could react in real time, triggering sirens, lights and mechanical effects, for example. LEGO Friends : Buildings, shops and seasonal scenes in Heartlake City could respond with music, lighting or environmental effects to further promote storytelling and imagination amongst children and adults. LEGO Technic : Advanced Technic models may incorporate Smart Play via interactive tutorials, programmable functions or mechanical feedback, for example, to take engineering builds to the next level. In addition to the Smart Brick and electronic LEGO Minifigures , Smart Play will also reportedly connect to apps and games, even beyond a controller app, which we've seen in the past. For example, actions performed in a LEGO set could trigger responses in a compatible game, such as opening doors, activating characters or generating points. This, like the rest of Smart Play, combines a physical building experience with electronics and software. The Future of LEGO Smart Play With Smart Play and the Smart Brick, LEGO is laying the foundation for a new era of building and with that a new era of interactive building, expanding on the likes of Nexo Knights, Hidden Side and more recently Super Mario . Throughout 2026 and the foreseeable future, we can expect to see plenty of sets, including Smart Play and even further interactive technology, starting off with the likes of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Pokémon as early as January and February. Smart Play is the future of the LEGO brand, and it starts in 2026, but what do you think? What's your opinion of Smart Play and the Smart Brick? What kind of LEGO themes and sets would you like to see this technology in? Will this prove to be successful or another big flop like previous iterations of interactive technology in LEGO themes?
