LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum Officially Revealed | September 2025

After months of speculation and excitement, LEGO has officially revealed 76300 Arkham Asylum, the final and biggest LEGO DC release of 2025. Launching on the 9th of September 2025, this highly anticipated 18+ Direct-to-Consumer set comes with 2,953 pieces retailing for $299.99 / €299.99 / £259.99.

Designed as a detailed and atmospheric take on the infamous Gotham psychiatric facility, the model draws inspiration from the comics and follows in the footsteps of other large-scale LEGO superhero builds like 76269 Avengers Tower and 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion. This time, however, this giant brick-built Arkham Asylum is designed as an inverted corner modular building - a type of modular rarely seen amongst the plethora of LEGO sets.

The building wraps around a central courtyard of the fictional psychiatric hospital, creating a unique U-shaped layout that feels more closed-in and secure, like a real high-security facility. The model is built on a standard baseplate with technic pin hole connections also included to display alongside previous LEGO modular buildings.

For the exterior, Arkham Asylum features plenty of gothic architecture with tall spires, pointed arch windows, cracked stone walls and wrought iron fencing. The large front gate, one of many central points of the 18+ set, includes an archway with the "Arkham Asylum" sign built into it as multiple stickers/prints. Further decorative touches like gargoyle statues, overgrown vines and crumbling brick details also feature to demonstrate the building's old age and the eeriness of Gotham City.

Inside, the Asylum is packed with play features, Easter eggs and detailed builds. It's split into three segments - the ground floor, first floor and roof - which can all be easily accessed via removable elements. Across these three segments, we can find a reception, a doctor’s office and a walkway between the many prison cells. At the cell block, with the many prison cells, there are sliding doors which can be opened simultaneously via a mechanism along with a control centre for the prison guards.

76300 Arkham Asylum is the largest LEGO DC set ever in terms of Minifigures, with an incredible 16 DC-inspired characters included in the 18+ model. Batman is obviously included alongside Robin, who's based on his appearance in the Arkham video game. Also included are Batwoman, Batwing, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Mr Freeze, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc, and two Security Guards.

Six of the villains (including Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Bane, Killer Croc and Scarecrow) unfortunately include the same outfits as they are included in orange prison jumpsuits complete with leg printing. The rest, however, all feature unique facial expressions, torso and leg prints, and a range of DC-inspired accessories to make the perfect display and play model for the theme.

Transparent stands, similar to those seen in LEGO Minifigures series and 2024's 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, are included to display and pose each of the figures in multiple unique ways. Finally, the white inmate delivery van, also known as the Asylum Transporter, is also included in 76300 as a side build, which can house multiple Minifigures and drive into the front gate to deliver new villains to the Asylum.
