2026 will be another exciting, surprising and sometimes disappointing year of LEGO sets, but there's one theme in particular that everyone's excited to see: the brand new LEGO Pokémon line. Following the official announcement in March, news about the latest gaming-themed license has been few and far between. However, thanks to the ever-reliable Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, three sets are rumoured to be releasing at the start of the new year.
These three sets are all 18+ sets, all launching on the 27th of February 2026 (Pokémon Day), and all part of the first of possibly three waves for the anime gaming theme. Out of the three models, 72153 is the biggest and most expensive, with a whopping 6,838 pieces retailing for $649.99 / €649.99 / £549.99. Likely one of the biggest sets in 2026, it recreates the Kanto starters of Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander in brick-built LEGO form.
72151 Eevee
Our first LEGO Pokémon set is, just like the other two models on this list, a brick-built display model of the Pokémon Eevee. With 587 pieces retailing for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, current rumours such that Eevee will likely be built on a similar scale to 43249 Stitch but obviously targeted at an older audience. Eevee will obviously be built with her primarily brown fur and fox-like shape, along with a poseable head, ears, legs and a fluffy brick-built tail.
Set Name - Eevee
Set Number - 72151
Age Range - 18+
Piece Count - 587

72152 Pikachu & Poké Ball
You can't have a debut wave of LEGO Pokémon without the most iconic and loved Pokémon, Pikachu. The yellow Electric-type Mouse Pokémon is even larger than 72151 Eevee, retailing for $199.99 / €199.99 / £169.99 with a total of 2,050 pieces. The expected scale for 72152 Pikachu & Poké Ball is likely to be similar to 43269 101 Dalmatians Puppy. Just like the brick-built puppy, Pikachu will have plenty of articulation and will be displayed alongside an entirely brick-built Poké Ball.

72153 Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander
And they just keep on getting bigger and more expensive as the final LEGO Pokémon set releasing on the 27th of February 2026 is 72153 Bulbasaur, Squirtle, & Charmander. The third 18+ model for the theme will almost function as a Pokémon Ultimate Collectors Series display set, retailing for $649.99 / €649.99 / £549.99 with an incredible 6,838 pieces included.
Each of the three Pokémon, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, will likely be similar in size to Pikachu from 72152. Bulbasaur will likely feature a rounded body with a layered, brick-built bulb on its back, with poseable legs and head. Meanwhile, Squirtle could include a glossy, rounded shell and a twisting, curled tail compared to Charmander's flame tail, built using trans-orange and yellow pieces.
