LEGO Star Wars 75439 Darth Vader Bust Rumoured For May 2026

Almost a year since our last LEGO Star Wars helmet sets of 75408 Jango Fett Helmet and 75415 Kylo Ren Helmet, the licensed theme will be focusing on a brand new brick-built subtheme in 2026. In particular, these will be brick-built mini busts, similar to the two released last summer from the LEGO Marvel line of 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust and 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust.

The first of these Star Wars-branded busts will release on the 1st of May 2026, of 75438 Yoda Bust and 75439 Darth Vader Bust. The latter is the focus of this Bricks Up article, with the 18+ model retailing for $59.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 and including a total of 349 pieces. This is fewer pieces for a slightly higher price compared to the brick-built Yoda Bust, which suggests a display model that utilises much larger elements and specialised moulds to create Darth Vader's entirely black helmet and bust design in brick-built LEGO.

The bust build will likely include Vader's helmet, mask and the top section of this chest armour, stopping around the upper torso rather than showing the full body compared to other brick-built characters. The helmet will be the central point of the 18+ set, recreating the distinctive dome, triangular breathing mask and chilling eye lenses. All of these elements will be in black will the only colour likely being the smaller details of the villain's chest armour.
