- LEGO BrickHeadz 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Officially Revealed | June 2026
Our second LEGO Shrek-branded set has now also been officially revealed with another selection of brick-built figures, but this time as part of the collectable LEGO BrickHeadz theme. In particular, Shrek, Donkey and Gingy are coming to the BrickHeadz line under the same set of 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures. The 10+ model includes 259 pieces, retailing for $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 and releasing on the 1st of June 2026 alongside 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots. Our second brick-built Shrek is recreated in the classic BrickHeadz style with his green skin tone, rounded shape and belly, and signature tunic. The ogre includes the classic black 1x1 LEGO BrickHeadz eyes along with the LEGO glass cup element in green to replicate the character's unique ears. A printed version of Shrek's 'Beware Ogre' sign is also included as an accessory. Donkey follows the same blocky, BrickHeadz style but with more expressive shaping through his brick-built face and muzzle. His design focuses heavily on capturing his personality, with Donkey's large two front teeth front and centre. The rest of the build is in a mainly grey colour scheme, while Donkey's ears can be readjusted to make the iconic character happier or sadder. Gingy completes the trio as the smallest figure in the set, measuring just over 2 inches (5 cm) tall. His design leans into his cookie-based appearance with printed icing details forming his facial expression and a single 1x1 round purple tile replicating his buttons. The figure doesn't include the standard LEGO BrickHeadz eyes and instead features 1x1 white studs and light blue elements for the gingerbread man's eyebrows. 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Set Name - Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Set Number - 40923 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 259 Minifigure - 0 Price - $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 - Shop Now at LEGO Release Date - 1st June 2026 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? Does the BrickHeadz style work for DreamWorks Shrek characters, or does it lose too much detail compared to the larger 18+ set? Which of the three figures stands out most to you, Shrek, Donkey or Gingy? Let us know your thoughts and whether you would add this to your LEGO BrickHeadz collection in the comments. - First Leaked Images of LEGO Shrek 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots | June 2026
The LEGO Group is heading into fairytale territory this summer with its brand-new, highly anticipated LEGO Shrek theme. Thanks to the official LEGO Korea website, we already have our first images of the debut set for the line: 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots. The 18+ model launches on the 1st of June 2026, retailing for $129.99 / €19.99 / £109.99 and including a total of 1,403 pieces. The DreamWorks Animation-licensed set continues the range of brick-built characters in LEGO form, recreating two of cinema's most iconic characters: Shrek and Donkey. Shrek, being the large character in the film, is obviously the larger character in brick-built form, recreated with his green ogre skin and his distinct, rustic tunic outfit. Exclusive prints are utilised for Shrek's eyes and eyebrows and his smirking expression. The character has plenty of posability as builders can rotate his face and change the position of both his arms, hands and green sausage fingers. Shrek's belly can even be removed to reveal his stomach, including an onion, a 1x1 printed waffle and an eye from his favourite eye ball martini drink. Another brick-built onion is also included as an accessory which Shrek can hold. Donkey is even more expressive than Shrek, including more exclusive printing for his eyes along with his prominent brick-built mouth, which, like the whole head, can be repositioned and moved in various ways. LEGO Donkey also includes a brick-built accessory of a blue flower and red thorns to be held in his mouth. This references the scene where Shrek is injured by an arrow, and Fiona orders Donkey to fetch some medicinal flowers to help soothe the pain. As the name suggests, 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots obviously includes a third character, but this one isn't brick-built. In an attempt to make it to scale, LEGO have included a LEGO Minifigure version of Puss in Boots. The figure is instantly recognisable by his orange fur printed across his torso and legs, and his feather hat, which is part of a brand new head mould for the figure. Puss also includes a sword accessory and can be displayed on the shoulder of the brick-built LEGO Shrek. All of the three characters included in the 18+ model are then placed on a Shrek-themed display stand. This clearly references Shrek's swamp, built with patches of grass, moss, mud and water along with further LEGO vegetation and leaf pieces. A printed "Beware Ogre" sign is also included, along with two brick-built sunflowers found at the back of the 1,403-piece 2026 set. 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots Set Name - Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots Set Number - 72423 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,403 Minifigure - 1 (Puss in Boots) Price - $129.99 / €19.99 / £109.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? Does this brick-built take on Shrek and Donkey live up to your expectations for the new LEGO Shrek theme? How do you feel about the inclusion of a Minifigure-scale Puss in Boots alongside the larger characters? Let us know your thoughts and how this compares to other LEGO display sets in the comments. If you are excited to see LEGO step into the world of Shrek, share this post with friends who grew up with the films. - LEGO Shrek 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots Officially Revealed | June 2026
Shrek is officially stepping into LEGO form, as the LEGO Group officially revealed the debut set as part of the new for 2026 LEGO Shrek theme. 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots brings DreamWorks' swamp world into brick-built form for the first time, launching on the 1st of June 2026 with 1,403 pieces retailing for $129.99 / €119.99 / £109.99. The 18+ model will also be available alongside a Shrek-branded LEGO BrickHeadz set of 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures. This release brings the world of Far Far Away into LEGO form for the first time. The LEGO Group positions the brick-built range as a celebration of the franchise's humour, characters and nostalgic moments, combining display-focused building with references pulled directly from the films. This first set does exactly that, recreating two of cinema's most iconic characters, Shrek and Donkey, plus a LEGO Minifigure version of Puss in Boots. Shrek forms the dominant visual presence of the model, as he should being the star of the film, making up most of the 18+ set, which measures over 9.5 inches (24 cm) high, 8.5 inches (21 cm) wide and 6 inches (16 cm) deep. He stands tall in brick-built form, recreated with his green ogre skin, rounded silhouette and his distinct, rustic tunic outfit. Exclusive prints are utilised for Shrek's eyes and eyebrows and his smirking expression. The character has plenty of posability as builders can rotate his face and change the position of both his arms, hands and green sausage fingers. In an attempt to make it to scale, LEGO have included a LEGO Minifigure version of Puss in Boots. - First Leaked Images of LEGO Disney 43304 Toy Story: Wild West | May 2026
The LEGO Disney theme has had a busy start to April after officially revealing three Toy Story-branded sets ahead of a 1st of May 2026 release. However, along with these three sets, we're expecting a LEGO Toy Story BrickHeadz of 40860 Toy Story Character Collection in June and a more kid-friendly set, unlike 43301 Slinky Dog Bookends, next month. This kid-oriented set, in particular, is 43304 Toy Story: Wild West, which we now have our first look at, thanks to leaked images from some promotional images from the LEGO Group themselves. 43304 is branded as a 4+ set and, apart from previously mentioned 18+ Slinky Dog Bookends, is the only other LEGO Toy Story set releasing next month to include LEGO Minifigures within its 209 pieces, retailing for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99. These Minifigures in particular are non-exclusive versions of Woody and Jessie and the return of Bullseye, having last appeared in 2010's 7591 Woody's Roundup and 7597 Western Train Chase. These iconic Toy Story characters are included alongside a black LEGO pig mould, a pink LEGO foal mould, and what appears to be a LEGO version of a purple unicorn with wings. The images suggest that the set may be based on a currently unknown scene from the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, with the 4+ build being centred around a brick-built red barn. This red barn expands across two floors with space for the animals included in the 209-piece set, along with some brick-built straw and an area for the animals to eat and drink. A couple of side builds are also included in 43304 Toy Story: Wild West. The first one is a brick-built swing with space for a single Minifigure to be placed and swung backwards and forwards. The second is a turquoise-coloured fence to match the barn's turquoise-and-white roof. Various leaf and greenery pieces are attached to this fence, which can also be found on and around the swing build. 43304 Toy Story: Wild West Set Name - Toy Story: Wild West Set Number - 43304 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 209 Minifigures - 3 (Woody, Jessie, Bullseye) Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st May 2026 43304 Toy Story: Wild West releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? - New LEGO Shrek Theme Rumoured For June 2026
Exactly two weeks after the LEGO Group announced that the K-pop superstars HUNTR/X would be entering the world of LEGO, another brand new theme is rumoured for 2026. Following on from both LEGO KPop Demon Hunters and LEGO Pokémon , the third new licensed theme of the year will be coming soon, as LEGO looks set to partner with DreamWorks Animation for sets based on the Shrek franchise. First released in 2001, Shrek quickly became one of DreamWorks Animation's most successful franchises, resulting in a global hit that has since expanded into three sequels, a successful spin-off in Puss in Boots, theme park attractions, and plenty of merchandise. The original story follows a grumpy but lovable ogre named Shrek, who, after his swamp is invaded by exiled magical creatures, meets his talkative companion Donkey and the fiercely independent Princess Fiona before 'giving' her to Lord Farquaad ahead of their wedding. The LEGO Group has partnered with DreamWorks Animation before, most notably with Trolls World Tour in 2020, which brought a range of colourful playsets aimed at younger builders and fans of the Trolls franchise. Given this established relationship and the recent push for more animation-based licenses like LEGO Despicable Me 4 , it makes perfect sense for a LEGO Shrek theme ahead of the cinematic launch of Shrek 5 in 2027. While the LEGO Group has yet to officially confirm a LEGO Shrek theme or any Shrek-branded sets, current rumours suggest that the third and final LEGO Minifigures series of 2026 will see the debut of the iconic green ogre in the most iconic LEGO form. Shrek will be joined by classic characters such as Fiona, Puss in Boots, Donkey, Prince Charming and more under the set number 71053. In addition to Minifigures, we can expect blocky renditions of some of the main animated characters under the popular and extremely collectable LEGO BrickHeadz line. 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy will be the first Shrek BrickHeadz, but more are expected in 2026 and in 2027. And the theme will follow a similar route to LEGO Pokémon and launch with an 18+ brick-built character display model of our favourite duo, Shrek and Donkey. Alongside 72423 Buildable Shrek & Donkey, the set numbers 72421 and 72422 will also be part of the first wave of LEGO Shrek sets on the 1st of June 2026. These two sets are both branded as 12+ models, suggesting more play-friendly and Minifigure scale builds, possibly recreating the likes of Shrek's swamp, Duloc or the Dragon's Keep in brick-built LEGO form. LEGO Shrek is the latest licensed theme in LEGO's ever-growing portfolio, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing LEGO Shrek -branded sets this Summer? What characters would you like to see in the Shrek LEGO Minifigure series? Will we get sets based on all five films or just the upcoming Shrek 5 movie in 2027? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below. Featured Image: LEGO Ideas submission by Ashnflash: Shrek's Swamp - 20th Anniversary

- LEGO Star Wars 40917 The Darksaber GWP Officially Revealed | 1st May 2026
The LEGO Group has officially revealed 40917 The Darksaber , confirming this year's headlining Gift With Purchase for Star Wars Day 2026. Launching alongside a wider wave of LEGO Star Wars sets on the 26th of April, and the highly anticipated 75442 UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter on the 1st of May, the 18+ model will be available with all LEGO Star Wars purchases over $160 / €160 / £145 from the 1st to the 6th of May 2026. Following on from previous lightsaber-themed GWPs, 40917 The Darksaber becomes the fourth entry in this display-focused sub-line. However, it immediately stands apart thanks to its distinct design, inspired by its appearances in The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars. This is further reflected in it being the largest LEGO Star Wars lightsaber model to date, measuring around 26 cm in length and including a total of 278 pieces. The build uses a combination of black and dark grey elements to replicate the sabre made of Beskar, along with its slit-shaped blade emitter. The LEGO Darksaber also includes the angular pommel and hand guard, along with utilising the wand box elements from the LEGO Harry Potter theme in black to achieve a layered, rigid look for the hilt. Another distinctive detail used in the build is a transparent purple 1x4 tile to showcase the start of the Darksaber's distinctive flat blade, rather than fully building it out. The 278-piece build is then complete with the standard 18+ display stand features, along with a printed nameplate: 'LEGO Star Wars The Darksaber'. 40917 The Darksaber Set Name - The Darksaber Set Number - 40917 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 278 Minifigures - 0 Availability - Free with LEGO Star Wars purchases over $160 / €160 / £145 - Shop Now at LEGO Promo Dates - 1st-6th May 2026 40917 The Darksaber releases from the 1st to the 6th of May 2026, but what do you think? The 6+ model is currently scheduled for the 1st of May 2026, and it will likely be available as a Gift With Purchase as the LEGO Group celebrate Star Wars Day on the 4th of May 2026. The set itself obviously recreates the Razor Crest starship, but in the smallest of brick-built forms: LEGO microscale. It's a perfect mini build, capturing the new Razor Crest seen in The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, which also appears as a playset next month with 75447 The Razor Crest . 30728 captures the ship's new yellow detailing and mainly grey body, measuring 8 cm long, 7 cm wide and 3 cm tall. 30728 The Razor Crest Set Name - The Razor Crest Set Number - 30728 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 74 Minifigures - 0 Price - 4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 Release Date - 1st May 2026 30728 The Razor Crest polybag releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? Are you planning to pick it up as a Star Wars Day treat, or will you be going straight for the full-size 75447 The Razor Crest playset instead? It's a great little microscale build, but we want to know if tiny Razor Crests are your thing. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! - Three LEGO Marvel Spider-Man: Brand New Day Sets Rumoured For June 2026
After the official reveal of 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier last week, it's time to look at the other June 2026 sets joining the 18+ Helicarrier for the LEGO Marvel theme. Current rumours indicate that we can expect a further three superhero-inspired LEGO sets to be released on the 1st of June 2026, and all three are merchandise tied into the heavily anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. The Summer wave, based on the MCU film releasing in July, includes another brick-built figure along with two play-focused, Minifigure-scale sets. With all three releasing ahead of the release of the actual film, we expect them to be spoiler-free but include plenty of new and returning characters, including new torso printing for Spider-Man, for example. 76346 Spider-Man Buildable Figure 76346 Spider-Man Buildable Figure follows the recent trend of brick-built figures and characters across a range of LEGO themes. The rumoured 813-piece model looks to be similar to this year's 76344 Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors' Edition , but at a smaller scale and complexity aged at those 12 and above. Expect the brick-built superhero to be fully poseable with plenty of detailing for the figure's mainly blue and red spider suit. Set Name - Spider-Man Buildable Figure Set Number - 76346 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 813 Minifigures - TBC Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 76349 Spider-Man Prisoner Transport Away from brick-built figures, 76349 Spider-Man Prisoner Transport sounds like a classic prisoner escape set commonly seen in the LEGO City theme. While not confirmed, the name suggests a "breakout" scenario, possibly including villains such as Scorpion or The Punisher. The Prisoner Transport truck itself will be the main build of the 7+ set, but we can expect a couple of New York City-inspired side builds and play features for this breakout. Set Name - Spider-Man Prisoner Transport Set Number - 76349 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 367 Minifigures - TBC Price - $59.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 76350 Spider-Man vs Hulk at the Office Building Last but not least, we have 76350 Spider-Man vs Hulk at the Office Building, retailing for $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 with just 534 pieces included. The 8+ model should be the set with the most amount of LEGO Minifigures in, including the previously mentioned brand new Spider-Man figure and a bigfig mould for Hulk. The rest of the set looks to focus on an intense battle between Spider-Man and Hulk in a brick-built office environment. The "Office Building" may represent a generic New York City high-rise or a specific location like the Daily Bugle or a law office. Either way, with a LEGO version of Hulk included, we can expect plenty of play features designed around a Hulk rampage, including beakaway walls and collapsing sections, for example. Set Name - Spider-Man vs Hulk at the Office Building Set Number - 76350 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 534 Minifigures - TBC Price - $89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 Release Date - 1st June 2026 All three Spider-Man: Brand New Day sets release on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think? Which of the three sets are you most excited about, and will you be picking any of them up when they release? The office building is almost entirely grey, representing a generic New York City high-rise that includes multiple transparent rods to display the six different figures. A trigger can be pushed at the rear of the building to cause the front wall to blast apart and reveal the mighty Hulk in brick-built LEGO form. - First Leaked Images of 75442 UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter | May 2026
Earlier this week, the LEGO Group announced an exciting LEGO Star Wars livestream for the 15th of April 2026, during which the Danes were going to reveal a brand-new set alongside some Star Wars-themed prizes. But just a few days later, this reveal has already been spoiled by LEGO themselves as they've already shown the first picture of 75442 UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter - the set that will be officially unveiled during the livestream next week. 75442 is our first Ultimate Collector Series model of 2026 and the marquee release for this year's Star Wars Day celebrations, scheduled for release on the 1st of May 2026. The 18+ set will retail for $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99 and includes a total of 1,809 pieces to recreate Din Djarin's modified N-1 Starfighter, which features prominently in the third season of The Mandalorian. Din's second major ship, after the original Razor Crest, has appeared in multiple forms, having already seen the starfighter as a playset ( 75325 ), a 4+ model ( 75410 ) and a Microfighter ( 75363 ). But next month we'll see the biggest and most detailed iteration of the N-1 Starfighter yet, and it's perfect timing ahead of the blockbuster release of The Mandalorian & Grogu. Just like we see in the Mandalorian Disney+ series, the front and main body of the brand-new LEGO N-1 Starfighter is shaped like a wide triangle, transitioning into a very long, thin tail. The wings of the N-1 are located right at the front, drastically expanding the width of the Starfighter. These sections are some of the most detailed, as each wing includes a J-type engine of the agile craft, which in the Disney+ series are relatively exposed, giving away plenty of inner workings and details. Along with the relatively exposed engines, most of the yellow colouring of the original Naboo Starfighter has also been stripped from Mando's Starfighter. Therefore, the 1,809-piece build leans heavily into shades of grey while also including some elements of drum-lacquered metallic silver to recreate the unpainted Beskar/vacuum-metalised finish. Some hints of yellow can still be found dotted around the ship; however, just like we see in the 2022 play-scale version of 75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter . The cockpit section is another important feature of the build, including both the actual cockpit section for Din Djarin, along with the smaller passenger space for Grogu. A super elongated windshield piece looks to be utilised for the main cockpit, along with a smaller bubble windshield element behind. Both of these sections can be removed to access the usual details seen in the previous LEGO Star Wars cockpit builds. A few spring-loaded stud shooters, along with a cargo compartment, are also likely to feature in 75442 UCS The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter once it releases on the 1st of May 2026. And of course, the latest UCS model can't be complete without LEGO Minifigures . Only two are included in 75442, which are unsurprisingly Grogu using the new mould introduced for the character in the other May 2026 sets and the Mandalorian himself decked out in beskar armour, along with his Darksaber accessory. 75442 UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter Set Name - UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter Set Number - 75442 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,809 Minifigures - 2 (Din Djarin, Grogu) Price - $239.99 / €239.99 / £199.99 Release Date - 1st May 2026 75442 UCS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter releases on the 1st of May 2026, but what do you think? Will you be picking up the biggest and most detailed LEGO version of Din Djarin's iconic ship yet? With 1,809 pieces and a price of £199.99, does it look like a worthy addition to your collection? How does it compare to previous N-1 Starfighter sets like 75325 and 75363? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below, and check out all our latest LEGO Star Wars coverage. If you're as excited as we are about the first LEGO Star Wars UCS set of 2026, share this post with a fellow Mandalorian fan who needs to know about it! This includes 76475 Forbidden Forest: Expecto Patronum, which is a modern-day version of 2019s 75945 Expecto Patronum. Four Minifigures are included of Harry Potter, Sirius Black and two Dementors, along with the return of Harry's patronus stag mould.
