As Star Wars day is getting ever close LEGO has today officially revealed the next LEGO Star Wars UCS set of set number 75355. The set has been rumoured for some time now but it's now confirmed that 75355 is a brand new UCS X-Wing Starfighter available on 4th May 2023. The set makes it the third LEGO Star Wars UCS version of the X-Wing so far but it is the biggest with 1,949 pieces retailing for $239.99. Like most UCS sets, 75355 comes with a black stand for the X-Wing to be positioned on in many angles along with a small data set sticker. The data set sticker is actually a print this time as LEGO looks to introduce further prints into its 18+ line of sets. And the printed UCS plaque isn't the only thing different about this set as it will come with a slightly different version of the black 18+ box design with that small hint of Star Wars blue in the background. Back to the build itself though, the biggest LEGO X-Wing so far is 27cm high, 55 cm long and 44 cm wide making it the perfect display model for any Star Wars fan. The usual details of the X-Wing are included with its white, red and grey colour scheme captured along with its unique pointy shape at both the front and the rear. A dial can be turned on top of the X-Wing to adjust the wings into either flight or attack mode. Apart from that though, the only real play feature of the set is the cockpit which can be opened to put one of either two Minifigures that are included in this set. These are R2-D2 and a new Pilot Luke Skywalker which includes extra arm printing and duel moulded legs with the black boots going well with the orange pilot suit. However, the cockpit details are sadly stickers as not the whole set utilises prints for specific details and references. The $240 set includes all of this and much more and luckily it won't be long until we can get our hands on it as the set will be available from 4th May 2023. Disney's 100th-anniversary celebrations continue as a brand new LEGO set has been revealed to celebrate the very special occasion. In particular, this is a brand new Disney princess minidoll set of 43215 Magical Treehouse. The set will be available from 1st June 2023 with a total of 1,016 pieces included for a fairly expensive set at $149.99. However, the main draw of the set is the number of minidolls included as in total there are 13 with four being brand-new characters. These include Elsa, Anna, Alice in Wonderland, Belle, Wendy, Tinkerbell, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Raya, Tiana and Jasmine. Many of these include brand-new prints and brand-new hair pieces to capture their look in LEGO form. The build itself is basically a mix of different things to create a treehouse for all these 13 minidolls to hang out in. There's a small water area with a slide and canoe along with some scenery throughout the set. The treehouse includes a small interior along with a tower which replicates the tower seen in Frozen as Elsa is seen here standing on it. Other features include books, animals, lights and archery for the $150 set. We've known for a few months now that at least two sets based on the upcoming Disney+ Ahsoka show will be releasing in 2023 but we now know of a third. This is thanks to Promobricks.de which have announced that 75357 is rumoured to be the Ghost spaceship. One of the most popular spaceships in Star Wars will return in LEGO form on 1st September 2023 along with the other two Ahsoka sets of 75362 and 75364. But back to 75357 the Ghost, the Ahsoka set will retail for $169.99 with 1,394 pieces making up Hera Sundulla's ship. But for this high price, five Minifigures are included. These are Hera, Chopper, the Mon Calamari mechanic Quarrie, Hera's son Jacen and a previously unknown male character with dark skin. A lot of these characters are from the Rebels TV show but will appear in LEGO form but most likely with exclusive prints. We've already had one LEGO Marvel Helmet release this year of 76251 Star-Lord's Helmet but another brick built 18+ Helmet will be coming in the summer. This will once again be for the LEGO Marvel theme and will be 76250 Wolverine Helmet. 76250 will cost $10 less than 76251 which released just a few days ago indicating that the set will most likely be more of a mask than an actual helmet. But the $69.99 set should still include the distinctive features of the X-Men's helmet/mask and that bright yellow colour scheme. Many yellow pieces should be included along with hints of black and maybe blue to give the helmet even more features. Like all 18+ helmets, 76250 Wolverine Helmet will be placed on a black stand with an exclusive print indicating that it's Wolverine's unique helmet once the set releases on 1st August 2023. With May becoming ever closer, LEGO will again celebrate Star Wars day by releasing a range of sets that have already been rumoured for a few months. Along with these sets, including more LEGO Star Wars 18+ Diorama sets, they'll be the yearly May 4th LEGO Star Wars set. This will once again be a promotional set releasing around the end of April and the start of May. And thanks to FluffySky6 on Reddit, we know that this year's LEGO Star Wars May 4th Promo will be 40591 Mini Death Star. As the name suggests, the 289 pieces included in the set will be used to make a mini brick-built version of the Death Star. This will most likely be another 18+ promo so it may feature a small black stand for the Death Star to sit on but will not include Minifigures like last year's exceptional promo. It's been rumoured for many months that a second LEGO Marvel Minifigure series is coming in 2023 but we now have further information. Thanks to Promobricks.de we know the third LEGO Minifigures series of 2023 will include the usual 12 characters rather than the recently revealed 71038 which includes 18 unique Minifigures. This may be four last than the last LEGO Marvel Minifigure series but many awesome new characters are included... List of Minifigures Hawkeye Kate Bishop Moon Knight Mr Night Agatha Werewolf Storm (X-Men 97) Beast (X-Men 97) Wolverine (X-Men 97) Echo (final version from the Echo show) Kang (blue version) She-Hulk As already mentioned, 71039 Marvel Series 2 will follow on from 71038 which will be celebrating 100 years of Disney along with a range of other sets around May 2023. This means once the second Marvel series releases in September 2023, it'll be the third and final series of the year. However, it will be the first LEGO Minifigure Series to be in boxes rather than the usual blind bags. This threat to the LEGO Minifigure series has been coming for a while but it turns out that LEGO will go ahead with its more sustainable plans. The boxes themselves will be smaller than the LEGO Super Mario Character Pack Boxes but will most likely make it impossible to feel for specific Minifigures. We don't know how this will impact sales or whether LEGO will continue this no matter what fans say... Another day and another LEGO Star Wars rumour with this being further rumours about the final LEGO Star Wars D2C set of 2023. In particular, this is the previously rumoured 18+ retail exclusive of 75367 which, thanks to Promobricks.de , is a UCS Ventor Star Destroyer. It was just December 2022 that 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer retired from shelves but this new 18+ UCS variant will soon release in September to take up that gap in the shelves. 75367 will include 5,374 pieces and retail for $649.99 as previously rumoured which means it'll have 700 more pieces than the imperial version for $50 less. It's likely even with these changes in price and piece counts that both sets will be of the same scale and similar size. The UCS Venator Star Destroyer even with its high piece count and even larger price, only includes two Minifigures. These are Admiral Yularen at a young age with brown hair, and Captain/Commander Rex with a new face print that also includes the band-aid on the side of his head shows applied after Rex's inhibitor chip was removed. Both of these will sit on the usual UCS black stand beneath the UCS Venator Star Destroyer. Even though today is April 1st which is iconic for its jokes and pranks, the always reliable Promobricks.de have provided us with some brand-new LEGO news. In particular, this is some LEGO Star Wars news as it is being rumoured that the highly demanded Republic Gunship will appear in 2023 in a brand new edition. It'll release on 1st September 2023 under the set number 75354 which has had a bunch of sets tied to its number. But if Promobricks.de are right then a brand new playable Public Gunship will be coming after more than 10 years since the last playable one. The set seems to be based on the ship's appearance on the plane of Coruscant which has appeared in recent Star Wars shows such as the Mandalorian. This doesn't mean we'll get any features from the planet but it does mean that it is not based on a scene where all the clones are featured. Either way, we're likely to get an exciting Minifigure lineup included in this $129.99 as a total of five are included in the 2023 Star Wars novelty. These include Chancellor Palpatine in a red robe with a skirt, Clone Commander Fox and two of his Coruscant Shock Troopers. Finally, Padme Amidala will also be included in this set most likely in an exclusive variant for that hefty $130 price point. We've already had one LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz set release this year but another one has now been officially revealed for an upcoming release around Star Wars Day 2023. This is the previously rumoured 40623 Brickheadz 5 pack which is another Endor-themed set for 2023. The set is called Battle of Endor Heroes with 549 pieces making up the $39.99 set which is another set that celebrates Star Wars Return of the Jedi's 40th anniversary this year. Included in this 5 Pack Brickheadz is Luke Skywalker in Jedi Robes, Endor Leia, Lando, R2-D2 and an Ewok. The Ewok and R2-D2 are smaller compared to the other three characters included in the $40 set, which explains why the set is reasonably priced. As already mentioned, 40623 will be releasing on 1st May 2023 just in time for this year's Star Wars day on 4th May 2023 which will include many more new LEGO Star Wars sets. The LEGO Icons theme has been expanding further and further over the last few years and it looks set to continue this trend into 2024. This comes after JeanGreyForever took part in a survey where they were asked questions about how much they would pay for upcoming LEGO sets and existing LEGO sets. And one of these sets were a brand new LEGO Icons 18+ set of a classic LEGO Medieval Village. The leaked set looks to be a bigger and more detailed successor to 10193 Medieval Market Village from 2009. LEGO sets have come a long way since then so if this set does release in 2024 it'll be quite different and much more detailed with modern building techniques. The set contains four medieval houses in the form of facades allowing plenty of playability. You can either display two closed houses or play with four houses that are open at the back. The houses are very cleverly built with a small watch tower integrated into one of the houses. The houses are then framed by four trees which are built differently and give a magical kind of vibe. And continuing with this magical vibe there's a total of eight Minifigures which seem to all take an exclusive form. These include the likes of a city guard, a court jester and many townspeople which take different forms. Along with a lot of Minifigures, a lot of animals are also included in the set. These include two sheep, a cow with a cart, a horse, a cat, various birds and squirrels. And the most exciting of all is a goat which reuses that iconic piece that can rarely be found these days. This altogether makes up a 3,200-piece set that will most likely retail for $239.99. After all the recent leaks for the LEGO Star Wars theme, we now have an official reveal of a brand new Summer 2023 4+ set. In particular, this is 75358 Tenoo Jedi Temple which will be based on the Young Jedi Adventures animated series coming on Disney+ in may. The set will retail for $39.99 with 124 pieces helping to replicate this training temple which includes a training droid, a levitating rock, a speeder bike and much more. Another week and we have another new LEGO Icons set rumoured for 2023 with it this time being under the set number 10320. The Instagram user lego_insider_bricks believes the set, under the codename 'vault', is based on a LEGO Pirates set hinting at a return for the historic theme similar to the 90th Anniversary sets last year. The set will be available from 1st July 2023 retailing for $214.99 with 2,509 pieces. One of LEGO's best themes in recent years is unsurprisingly expanding further another set for the LEGO Icons theme is rumoured for 2023. This is 10315 which was the previously under the code name 'TBD-Icons-IP-Art-and-Deco-2023' but it is now believed to be an 18+ LEGO Zen Garden. This sort of set has been submitted to LEGO Ideas many times but it seems like LEGO is set to make its own 18+ version of a microscale Zen Garden. The set feels like it should be more of a LEGO Architecture set or alternatively, another LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set. This makes us believe that there may be more to the Zen Garden than meets the eye but it'll likely be microscale either way for the $99.99 price stage with 1,363 pieces. Either way, it'll be quite a few months until we know exactly what the set is about as it'll release on 1st August 2023. LEGO DC is back with a bang as a brand new 18+ D2C set has been rumoured for a June 2023 release. The first rumours of this set appeared a few months ago but its now been confirmed 76252 will be an 18+ Batcave for the LEGO DC film. And thanks to a recent leak we now know the set will be based on the 1992 film Batman Returns. The reason we know this information is due to a recent leak of Danny DeVito's character of the Penguin which will appear in this form for the first time. Along with this Minifigure, we also expect Michael Keaton's Batman and many other characters like Catwoman, Max Shreck, Alfred and many more. Along with these Minifigures, 76252 will be a full Batcave for a high price of $449.99 rather than previous smaller builds, and it'll be fully enclosed by a cave build. This should mean that all the Minifigures mentioned should be included along with many more and many vehicle builds and other small details. All of this will make up the 3,981 pieces included in the set once it releases on 5th June 2023.
