The LEGO Icons theme has expanded drastically in recent years from Modular buildings to brick-built flowers and now there's a brick-built console. In particular, it's a LEGO version of the Atari 2600 console that has been revealed to coincide with that its 50th Anniversary celebrations this year. The retro console will be available from 1st August 2022 as an 18+ set especially aimed at those kids from the 80s. Just like the original Atari, the LEGO model is similar in size and is mainly black with light brown panels to round off the look. The classic side controls are also included along with a slot for the game cartridges at the top of the console. The top of the console can also be opened up to reveal a small vignette of a typical 80s kids' bedroom. In the bedroom, a Minifigure sits on the floor with a joystick in his hand whilst playing Asteroids on a TV. There is a small-built mini Atari in front of the TV with various posters hanging on the room wall around it. A ghetto blaster, an old-fashioned telephone and a white cat also being inside the small vignette. Furthermore, Atari 2600 console also comes with three game cartridges of the games Asteroids, Adventure and Centipede. Each one can be converted into mini 8x8 vignettes to match their game themes. Centipede is a build of an insect with a mushrooms background, Asteroids is of course a small spaceship that fights against asteroids and UFOs and Adventure is a yellow castle build. The biggest LEGO Star Wars set of 2022 has been rumoured for some time now but thanks to Promobricks.de we know exactly what it will be. 75331 will be an Ultimate Collector Series version of the Razor Crest which is the ship of the Mandalorian Din Djarin. The set will be available from 3rd October 2022 but it's likely to also be available from 1st October for LEGO VIPs. Due to the price increases, the set will be retailing for $549.99 rather than the previously rumoured price tag of $529.99. But they'll still be a whopping amount of pieces include in this price at 6187 parts. The set will also be based on the usual 1:40 scale so the Razor Crest will measure around 60cm long, 40cm wide and 30cm high. Likely features of the set include the bunk, the gun cabinet and the space toilet. They'll also be two prisoners frozen in carbonite and just two plain carbonite blocks. After an official tease yesterday, its finally here as LEGO have officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set for 2022. This is 21336 The Office which becomes the first set to be based on the American The Office comedy series. However, 21336 will be available in a few months from 1st October 2022 for $119.99 as another set, 21335 Motorized Lighthouse, is still rumoured for an earlier release for the LEGO Ideas theme. The set itself is a build of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch as shown by the Dunder Mifflin sticker next to the entrance door to the office. This then leads to the reception desk where the Pam Beesly Minifigure is sitting practisng her art. Theres also the coffee machine, the coat hanger, many files and displays and the 'parkour' sofas. Of course Pam Beesly and the reception desk is directly across from her eventual lover Jim Halpert. He's at his usual desk which includes, like his work mates, a computer, a telephone, a lamp and other documents. He also has the teapot he gives to Pam, a letter and the engagement ring for Pam. Directly next to him is Dwight Schrute and his desk which includes the yellow jelly with the stapler. He's also next to a shelf which includes smaller references along with many files. Another one of these shelves is located directly next to Phyllis Lapin Vance and Stanley Hudson who are also at their desks. Another LEGO Icons set is coming this year and it's another brick-built realistic car. As was already previously rumoured, along with 10298 Vespa 125 and 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine, a brand new vehicle of 10304 Chevrolet Camero Z28 will be coming on 1st August 2022. This will be the classic American car version of the Chevrolet Camero Z28 from 1969. The base model of the classic Camero is black with grey racing stripes on both the hood and the rear. However, these racing stripes are made from LEGO bricks rather than prints or stickers so can be changed to a different colour so you have more customization options. The designers themselves have even included two more colours of red and white to go along with the original grey so you don't have to buy extra bricks. That also isn't the only customisable bit of the set as the roof can easily be removed to change the model from a coupe into a convertible. This means that basically six different versions of the same car can be made by changing the colours and the roof. Different license plates are also included: a yellow one with the inscription CHTY-69 and a black one with the inscription P4N-T3R. The doors, the tailgate and the bonnet, which has a detailed engine built underneath it, can all be opened up as functions of the set.
