That's right the highly anticipated LEGO Dreamzzz theme is finally here as we have official images of LEGO's latest in-house theme. The theme was trademarked back at the start of this year as LEGO look to find the next LEGO NINJAGO with a range of new sets and a new TV show. The show itself debuts in just a couple of week's time whilst all the LEGO Dreamzzz sets will be available from 1st August 2023. The two main characters of the theme are Matteo and Izzy, both appearing in Minifigure form in many of these sets. Along with these characters, there's also their teacher and the robot Z-Blob. Together they can travel through dreams with the use of magical portals. Each set represents a different dream making them very unique and different and worth the slightly higher prices. In total, 11 sets and a polybag (currently unrevealed) will release on 1st August 2023 for the theme but there are gaps in the numbers indicating another wave in 2024 and maybe even beyond. These kinds of LEGO sets were first introduced last year with three Spider-Man-based buildable characters. However, 2023s wave is $10 more expensive even though the builds themselves aren't massively different with just a few more pieces making for a slightly sturdier and complete build. He comes under the set number 76259 which has the lowest piece count of 257 pieces out of the three figures releasing on 1st June 2023. - LEGO Harry Potter 76422 Diagon Alley: Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Officially Revealed | June 2023
After the reveal of the buildable LEGO Dobby the other day, we now have another reveal of a brand new LEGO Harry Potter summer 2023 set. This is the previously rumoured 76422 Diagon Alley: Weasley's Wizard Wheezes which, as you can probably guess, is a brand new version of the Weasley twins' joke shop. This new version will release on 1st June 2023 with 834 pieces retailing for $89.99. Many of you will already know that a LEGO version of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is readily available in the D2C of 75978 Diagon Alley from 2020. However, this new version will be targeted at a younger audience with no modular design and instead a playable building with an open back. With 834 pieces it'll also be a bit small than the model from the large Diagon Alley D2C but does include an Owl Post Office in that dark grey colour scheme. However, for that $90 price tag there's still a wide range of Minifigures included in 76422. Altogether there are seven Minifigures including George and Fred Weasley, Romilda Vane, Ginny Weasley, Fred Weasley, Lavender Brown, and an Owl Post Worker. As already mentioned, this new Half-Blood Prince set will be available from 1st June 2023 along with the already revealed 76421 Dobby the House Elf. Set Information Set Name - Diagon Alley: Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Set Number - 76422 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 834 Price - $89.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023
- LEGO Disney 100 43227 Villain Icons Officially Revealed | June 2023
The LEGO Disney theme has been one of the best LEGO themes so far in 2023 and its just getting better and better as another set has been officially revealed. This is the 18+ set of 43227 Villain Icons which first leaked just over a week ago. But like many sets over the next few days, it's finally been officially revealed by LEGO giving us a better look at a collection of brick-built items to do with the most iconic Disney Villains. And these iconic Disney Villains are included as exclusive Minifigures in this $129.99 set. These are the Evil Queen in her old hag form, Genie Jafar, Maleficent and Gaston. All have new prints for torsos and legs hopefully hinting at them returning in another set either this year or next year. But now to the build objects which are the main part of the set and use up most of the 1,540 pieces. There are some cards from Alice in Wonderland which sit on top of an Aladdin VHS case. Above that there's another VHS of The Little Mermaid which has already featured in many Disney 100 LEGO sets this year. Furthermore, there's a clock referencing Peter Pan, a Book from Beauty and the Beast, a VHS cover from Sleeping Beauty and finally a giant brick-built poison Apple with the green poison oozing out of the red fruit. This makes for another great LEGO Disney set mainly aimed at the adult market due to its more complex build and being naturally more of a display model. But for $129.99 with 1,540 pieces, it's reasonably priced, especially with four exclusive Disney Minifigures, making it a definite day one purchase for many people once it releases on 1st June 2023. Set Information Set Name - Villain Icons Set Number - 43227 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,540 Price - $129.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023
- LEGO Disney 100 43226 Disney Duos Officially Revealed | June 2023

These are Cogsworth and Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, Nemo and Squirt from Finding Nemo, Hei Hei and Pua from Moana, and finally Percy and Miku from Pocahontas. All these characters sit on their own stand which uses a lot of the LEGO Super Mario platform pieces. They also come with an exclusive Disney 100 print in between each duo making up more of the 553 pieces included in this $45 set releasing on 1st June 2023. Set Information Set Name - Disney Duos Set Number - 43226 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 553 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023

All of this makes for another great wave of LEGO Super Mario sets but there are also two unknown sets of 71422 and 71427, the already revealed 71423 Dry Bowser Castle Battle and a mysterious LEGO Super Mario D2C set. 71420 Rambi the Rhino Expansion Set Set Name - Rambi the Rhino Expansion Set Set Number - 71420 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 106 Price - $10.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 71421 Dixie Kong's Jungle Jam Expansion Set Set Name - Dixie Kong's Jungle Jam Expansion Set Set Number - 71421 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 174 Price - $26.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 71424 Donkey Kong's Treehouse Expansion Set Set Name - Donkey Kong's Treehouse Expansion Set Set Number - 71424 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 555 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 71425 Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride Expansion Set Set Name - Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride Expansion Set Set Number - 71425 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 1,157 Price - $109.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023
- LEGO Star Wars 75361 Spider Tank Officially Revealed | August 2023
The third season of The Mandalorian might be over but the LEGO Star Wars set reveals from the show aren't just yet. This is because we now have more official images, including box art, of 75361 Spider Tank. The set was first revealed just after the Mines of Mandalore but LEGO have now given us further more detailed images of set number 75361. The set itself is a LEGO version of the Cyborg Alien that captured Din Djarin in that episode with LEGO officially calling it the 'Spider Tank'. A total of three Minifigures will be included in 75361 of Din Djarin, Grogu and Bo Katan. She is the only exclusive Minifigure in this set with new printing and new colours for her helmet, torso and legs. Din Djarin also included the dark sabre which included a new piece to make the black curvature shape at the top. All in all, this is another great The Mandalorian LEGO set capturing a very high intense scene in the second episode of the most recent series. 75361 will include a total of 526 pieces and will retail for $5 more than rumoured at $49.99. The set will be available from 1st August 2023 so you still have a while to wait until the set will be available in stores and online. - LEGO Star Wars 75363 The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Microfighter Officially Revealed | August 2023
2023 is spoiling us in terms of Microfighters as a second LEGO Star Wars Microfighter being officially revealed for 2023 today. This is 75363 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter Microfighter making it the fourth Mando season 3 set of the year. However, it is the smallest being a brand new microfighter and the least spoiler-heavy set but still releases in a couple of months time on 1st August 2023. The set itself will cost $5 more than normal Microfighters at $14.99 with 88 pieces. This is mainly because of the inclusion of two Minifigures: the Mandalorian himself and Grogu. Both are not exclusive but it's a cheap way of getting some of the most popular characters in the Star Wars universe. The set will release on 1st August 2023 with many more new LEGO Star Wars sets which are still yet to be revealed... Set Information Set Name - The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter Microfighter Set Number - 75363 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 88 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023
- LEGO Harry Potter 76421 Dobby the House Elf Officially Revealed | June 2023
Our first LEGO Harry Potter reveal of the summer is here thanks to thalia.de revealing 76421 Dobby the House Elf. As you may have guessed from the name, 76421 is a buildable version of Dobby carrying on the recent trend of brick-built LEGO Harry Potter creatures. And Dooby is one of the most detailed with 403 pieces used to make the adorable House Elf which will retail for $39.99. The brick-built Dobby includes his usual characteristics of big green eyes, movable ears, messy outfit and cute smile. He holds the book which Lucius Malfoy gives to him along with the sock hidden in the book to let Dobby be free. There's also the cake which Dobby drops in the second film making it a small set full of references for that $40 price tag. - LEGO Super Mario 71424 Donkey Kong's Treehouse Expansion Set Officially Revealed | August 2023
After a closer look at LEGO Donkey the other day, LEGO have given us official images of one of eight sets releasing for the LEGO Super Mario theme on 1st August 2023. And this set is one of hopefully many that includes that buildable LEGO Donkey with 71424 being Donkey Kong's Treehouse Expansion Set. As the name suggests, the main build of the set is a Donkey Kong-style treehouse which is a fair size allowing plenty of space of Donkey Kong. Inside the tree house, there's buildable TV, radio and secret compartment along with an area for either Mario or Donkey Kong to take a nap in the hammock, knock a banana off the palm tree and even ‘play’ the conga drums. Along the way and with the use of the interactive tiles, LEGO Mario will be able to pick up a bunch of coins. This is especially the case as, like many buildable characters in the theme, Donkey Kong can interact with Mario, Luigi and Peach by them riding on his back. And Donkey isn't the only new buildable character as Cranky Kong is also included. He's a much a smaller size but still included a new print and that long white beard. All of this and more makes for a great LEGO Super Mario set which is reasonably priced too at $59.99 for 554 pieces. Due to its latter Summer 2023 release date of 1st August 2023, it'll likely be a while until we see more LEGO Super Mario sets but we'll keep you posted here at Bricks Up when images of more of the Kong family in LEGO form appear... Set Information Set Name - Donkey Kong's Treehouse Expansion Set Set Number - 71424 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 554 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023
- First Look at LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong Themed Summer 2023 Sets | Funky Kong, Dixie Kong + More
LEGO Donkey is getting ever closer to release as LEGO has given us more images of the upcoming brick-built LEGO Donkey in the next wave of LEGO Super Mario sets. This next wave will release on 1st August 2023 with 8 sets and an official reveal very soon. This is because LEGO has teased the next wave by giving us further images of Donkey Kong and the Kong family. We first saw LEGO Donkey Kong on Mario day and like many buildable characters in the theme, he can interact with Mario, Luigi and Peach by riding on their backs. This then produces some cool Donkey Kong music which is likely to appear throughout this wave of LEGO Super Mario sets. This is most likely to happen in one of the most expensive sets of the wave of 71425 which will retail for $99.99 with 1,157 pieces. Donkey Kong is also very detailed in its design along with its functionality. He includes a red tie with the printed DK logo along with another print for his eyes. Big fig hands are used to recapture his gorilla lime structure along with many brown and tan pieces to make up his fur and belly. However, thanks to a promotional video on social media, Donkey Kong isn't the only buildable LEGO Super Mario character coming on 1st August 2023. This is because we now know the designs of Cranky Kong with his walking stick and white beard, Diddy Kong with his red baseball cap, Dixie Kong who has her usual pink outfit and blonde hair and Funky Kong. He's the coolest kong of them all with a white t-shirt and cool sunglasses. Currently, it's unconfirmed what set Donkey Kong will appear in or how many. But as already mentioned, we believe he'll most likely appear in the most expensive set coming in the Summer of 71425 along with many other sets for the rest of the Kong family. Either way, Donkey Kong and the Kong family along with at least eight more sets are coming for the LEGO Super Mario theme in the second half of 2023.
