LEGO Disney 100 43227 Villain Icons Officially Revealed | June 2023

The LEGO Disney theme has been one of the best LEGO themes so far in 2023 and its just getting better and better as another set has been officially revealed. This is the 18+ set of 43227 Villain Icons which first leaked just over a week ago. But like many sets over the next few days, it's finally been officially revealed by LEGO giving us a better look at a collection of brick-built items to do with the most iconic Disney Villains.

And these iconic Disney Villains are included as exclusive Minifigures in this $129.99 set. These are the Evil Queen in her old hag form, Genie Jafar, Maleficent and Gaston. All have new prints for torsos and legs hopefully hinting at them returning in another set either this year or next year. But now to the build objects which are the main part of the set and use up most of the 1,540 pieces.

There are some cards from Alice in Wonderland which sit on top of an Aladdin VHS case. Above that there's another VHS of The Little Mermaid which has already featured in many Disney 100 LEGO sets this year. Furthermore, there's a clock referencing Peter Pan, a Book from Beauty and the Beast, a VHS cover from Sleeping Beauty and finally a giant brick-built poison Apple with the green poison oozing out of the red fruit.

This makes for another great LEGO Disney set mainly aimed at the adult market due to its more complex build and being naturally more of a display model. But for $129.99 with 1,540 pieces, it's reasonably priced, especially with four exclusive Disney Minifigures, making it a definite day one purchase for many people once it releases on 1st June 2023.
