LEGO Technic January 2026 Sets Officially Revealed

The LEGO Technic theme has already had a set officially presented for 2026, but we now have images of the remaining six models, all releasing on the 1st of January 2026. From farming machinery and pull-back monster trucks to space exploration and high-performance supercars, the Winter 2026 wave covers a broad spectrum of real-world engineering and imaginative play. The most expensive and exciting of which is 42224 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rexy AO Racing Car, including over 1,000 pieces.
42218 John Deere 1470H Wheeled Harvester
The most affordable set of the wave is 42218 John Deere 1470H Wheeled Harvester, which retails for just $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99 with 117 pieces included. The 7+ model recreates the John Deere 1470H Harvester in the company's trademark green and yellow colour scheme. Even for this small $10 model, the set still includes some articulation, such as a moving arm and adjustable cutting head, alongside simple steering and movement.

42219 Monster Jam Grave Digger Fire and Ice
In 42219, the famous Grave Digger monster truck is recreated in brick-built LEGO form in a striking fire and ice livery. The brick-built truck is uniquely split in half with orange and red flames on one side and frosty blue ice on the other. The popular pull-back feature is also included, but at a slightly higher retail price of $34.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 with 263 pieces included.

42220 Monster Jam Sparkle Smash Pull-Back
Our second Monster Jam pull-back of January 2026 recreates the Sparkle Smash monster truck with a total of 243 pieces included. The build includes the truck's glitter and sparkle heavy livery, with shades of purple, pink and blue. Just like 42219 and previous LEGO Technic Monster Jam sets, 42220 has four huge rubber tyres, the pull-back feature for high-speed action and a sturdy and detailed Technic body build.

42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket
Space-themed sets aren't strangers to the LEGO Technic theme, but 42221 is similar to 2024's LEGO Icons model of 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System. The 2026 Technic model recreates NASA's Space Launch System in an identical white and orange colour scheme, whilst including the rocket's main features such as rocket boosters, a fuel tank and NASA stickers/prints for extra detailing.

42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hypercar
The Bugatti Chiron has already been tackled twice before in brick-built LEGO form, and in 2026, it returns to the LEGO Technic theme. In particular, it's 42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hypercar, which retails for $64.99 / €64.99 / £59.99 with a total of 771 pieces included. The 9+ model is built in the same scale as the likes of 42205 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and 42212 Ferrari FXX K, with a beautiful orange livery.

42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII Race Car
Revealed a couple of weeks ago, 42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII Race Car is also releasing next month as the first LEGO Technic 18+ set for 2026. 42223 recreates the classic 1966 Ford GT40 MKII race car in brick-built form. The iconic vintage car features a low aerodynamic body with smooth lines and racing decals, such as a large racing number 2 sticker. This can be found on a mainly black base which includes some silver details, Ford logos and golden LEGO wheel rims.

42224 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rexy AO Racing Car
Last but not least is easily the largest and most expensive set of the wave: 42224 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rexy AO Racing Car. The 1,313-piece model recreates the Porsche 911 GT3 in its famous "Rexy" dinosaur livery, combining a lime green base colour with bold black, red and white accents. The 9+ model not only features a striking livery but also iconic Porsche 911 detailing, such as a large rear wing, front splitter and wide wheel arches, along with working steering and opening doors.
