LEGO Super Mario 72045 Mario Kart - Shy Guy & P-Wing Officially Revealed | August 2025

While Mario Kart World continues to be successful, even if somewhat controversial, LEGO's collection of Mario Kart sets also continues to be successful, with a total of eight sets releasing on the 1st of August 2025. Amongst these brand new models, we now have official images of 72045 Mario Kart - Shy Guy & P-Wing. The partially exclusive 7+ set includes 249 pieces retailing for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99.

72045 includes a single kart of a P-Wing with its usual white and red colour scheme, along with a shell launching function, standard tires and a detachable plane glider. As the name suggests, a brick-built Shy Guy figure is also included with the usual interactive tile located on his back. Further accessories in the August 2025 model include a green shell, a red shell and an iconic banana element.
