LEGO Disney Rumoured January 2026 Sets

LEGO Disney is kicking off 2026 with a magical wave of seven enchanting new sets, all scheduled to release on the 1st of January 2026. The licensed themes' first wave of the new year mainly consists of minidoll-based LEGO Disney princess sets, which also includes a new range of mini brick-built characters. The most exciting set of the wave, however, has to be 43286 The Aristocats: Adorable Marie, which introduces the 1970 animated film to brick-built LEGO form.

43281 Elsa's Ice Castle & Snow Ride

The joint most expensive set of LEGO Disney's January 2026 wave is also the theme's only 4+ set rumoured to be launching at the beginning of next year. In particular, this is 43281 Elsa's Ice Castle & Snow Ride, which will likely recreate Elsa's iconic ice castle but in a more simplified brick-built form. Elsa will obviously be included as a minidoll along with possibly Anna and Olaf, and a brick-built sleigh for the trio to ride.

43284 Mini Anna & Elsa

Three of the seven sets in this LEGO Disney Winter 2026 wave have the word 'mini' in their title, suggesting a brand new kind of set for the licensed theme. The first of these is another Frozen-themed model of 43284 Mini Anna & Elsa, which includes just 65 pieces retailing for $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99. We're expecting the 5+ model to be very small brick-built versions of Anna & Elsa, only slighter larger than standard LEGO Minifigures.

43285 Ariels Magical Mini Palace

43285 is the latest LEGO Disney micro-world playset, similar to the currently available 43261 Encanto Mini House and 43278 Mini Arendelle Castle & Elsa's Ice Palace. In 2026, however, the collection of sets will be going under the sea with a micro-world recreation of Ariel's Magical Palace. The palace will likely be coloured a mix of bright yellow, gold, pink and blue and include Ariel and Prince Eric as micro-dolls.

43286 The Aristocats: Adorable Marie

The LEGO Disney theme will be going all the way back to 1970 with 43286, which will be our first set based on the animated feature The Aristocats. The 7+ model and its 369 pieces will recreate a fully brick-built version of the white-furred kitten known as Marie. She'll include a very expressive and cute face along with her trademark pink bow and posability in her head, legs and tail.

43287 Olaf & Bruni's Picnic Fun

43287 Olaf & Bruni's Picnic Fun may be another brick-built character-based set, recreating our favourite snowman, Olaf, alongside the adorable fire spirit salamander, Bruni. Both characters will be created out of 478 pieces retailing for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99. The set name also suggests a mini picnic side build will also be included, allowing further playability between the two characters and a range of small brick-built food.

43291 Mini Belle & Tiana with Castle

Our second 'mini' set expands on the first by not just including two very small brick-built characters, but also a LEGO castle. 43291 includes both a mini version of Belle and Tiana, retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 with 358 pieces included. The castle, just like the two princesses, won't be a large size but still substantial enough to be compatible with the two 'mini' figures.

43303 Mini Jasmine & Rapunzel

Last but not least, princess Jasmine and princess Rapunzel are getting the 'mini' treatment under the set number 43303. The 5+ model retails for the same price as 43284 Mini Anna & Elsa and includes just 59 pieces. All of these 'mini' LEGO Disney sets feel like the theme's latest 'gimmick' sets, which we can expect to release every January wave in the foreseeable future.
