LEGO Animal Crossing 30731 Tom Nook and Flying Present Polybag Officially Revealed | March 2026

The first LEGO Animal Crossing set for 2026 is finally here...and it's a LEGO Polybag?! It seems most of the LEGO Group's budget for gaming themes is being spent on LEGO Pokémon, as apart from two playsets from LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog, neither LEGO Super Mario nor LEGO Animal Crossing have seen sets in 2026.

The LEGO Super Mario theme is expecting the launch of 72050 Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 Kart in April, but our last Animal Crossing-branded sets were released in August 2025. Thankfully, the LEGO Animal Crossing theme isn't over, as not only are we seeing the release of 30731 Tom Nook and Flying Present on the 1st of March 2026, but the Nintendo licensed theme is expected to release some SMART Play-inspired builds later this year.

But returning to the 6+ polybag revealed today, 30731's 33 pieces create a very simple yet perfect build for the ever-expanding brick-built Animal Crossing island. A simple green grass base with flowers is included alongside a red and white present with a balloon replicating the floating presents seen in the video game itself. Finally, a LEGO Minifigure of Tom Nook is also included, with it being the same version included in 77050 Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House.
