  • LEGO Star Wars 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown Officially Revealed | August 2026

Just when you thought the LEGO Group had shown off all of their The Mandalorian & Grogu inspired, the Danish toy manufacturer has officially presented another set based on the upcoming blockbuster. In particular, this is 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown, which is available from the 1st of August 2026 for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 with 415 pieces included. The main build of the set is the 3-armed Sentry Droid, in a similar colour scheme to 2023's LEGO Star Wars mech of 75369 Boba Fett Mech. However, the ramshackle droid is much larger, utilising the majority of the 415 pieces included in the 2026 model and measuring over 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall. Along with the droid's unique three arms, its hands, legs and feet can also be moved and posed in multiple ways. The Sentry droid, with its disfigured rubble-like look, includes just a single stud shooter on its right arm to battle the two main characters, who both appear in this set. A small compartment can be found at the back of the droid, which, once opened by LEGO Grogu, who can fit inside this narrow space, deactivates the figure. Grogu is one of three LEGO Minifigures included in 75451 alongside the returning Din Djarin and a new version of the bounty hunter Embo. He features alongside the wolf creature Keibu, appearing in brick-built LEGO form for the very first time and with a brand new LEGO wolf/dog mould. Mando also includes his jetpack and blaster pistol, while Embo comes equipped with his bowcaster. 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown Set Name - Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown Set Number - 75451 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 415 Minifigures - 3 (Din Djarin, Grogu, Embo) Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st August 2026 75451 Hutt Palace Sentry Droid Showdown releases on the 1st of August 2026, but what do you think? • LEGO Technic 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car Officially Revealed | August 2026

The LEGO Group have officially revealed 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car, introducing a more creative, customisation-focused twist to the ever-expanding LEGO Technic vehicle lineup. Releasing on the 1st of August 2026, 42236 is likely part of a brand new 'Custom Garage' subtheme, giving builders multiple ways to redesign this brick-built Ford Mustang GT car from 973 pieces, retailing for $99.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 The 10+ model recreates another version of the iconic American muscle car in brick-built LEGO form, measuring over 3.5 inches (9 cm) high, 10.5 inches (27 cm) long and 5 inches (13 cm) wide. Core LEGO Technic features are included, such as the standard front wheel steering mechanism, functional doors to reveal a basic interior layout and front-mounted 8-cylinder piston engine with moving parts that operate as the vehicle moves. But the highlight of the August 2026 model is the customisability and personality that we've already alluded to. Two core designs/sets of bodywork pieces are included in 42236: a stylish paintwork option and a graffiti-inspired version. However, the wonderful thing about LEGO is that elements from both designs can be mixed to create a completely unique, colourful look for the LEGO Mustang. In total, eight different brick-built details of the car can be swapped out, including the hood, front splitter, the doors, the roof panels and the spoilers. Obviously, a lot of stickers are included for these unique bodywork designs, but that once again encourages more customisability and uniqueness compared to other LEGO Technic cars. And the American beast is likely the first of many Custom Garage LEGO sets, with it already being available for pre-order ahead of its summer release. 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car Set Name - Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car Set Number - 42236 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 973 Minifigures - 0 Price - $99.99 / €89.99 / £79.99 - Shop Now at LEGO Release Date - 1st August 2026 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car releases on the 1st of August 2026, but what do you think? Will you be picking up this customisable muscle car when it drops? Does the graffiti-inspired bodywork appeal to you, or will you be sticking with the cleaner paintwork option? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below, and check out all our latest LEGO Technic coverage. If you're as excited as we are about the Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car joining the LEGO Technic lineup, share this post with a fellow fan who needs to know about it! • Two LEGO Chinese Festivals Sets Officially Revealed | June 2026

We're heading to Asia this summer, but rather than it being with the usual action-packed LEGO Monkie Kid sets, it's with two brand-new LEGO Chinese Festivals sets. These two brick-built models of 80120 Prosperity Carp Leaping and 80121 Ancient Moon-Gazing Inn extend the handful of Chinese culture sets we've already had in 2026, after a couple of Chinese New Year sets released in January. But on the 1st of June 2026, the two 9+ models officially revealed today will recreate icons from Chinese history and mythology in brick-built LEGO form, as part of a continued shift toward the Danish toy manufacturer's focus on cultural storytelling and display-focused builds. Rather than just seasonal Lunar New Year sets, we may be getting builds based on mythology and historical architecture each year from the incredible continent of Asia. 80120 Prosperity Carp Leaping 80120 Prosperity Carp Leaping draws on from a well-known Chinese legend in which a carp swims upstream and leaps over the Dragon Gate waterfall. Retailing for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, the story produces a vibrant and colourful LEGO set, including a motion-heavy play feature involving two brick-built carps actually swimming. • LEGO Animal Crossing 77059 Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out Officially Revealed | August 2026

Our one and only LEGO Animal Crossing set of 2026 has been officially revealed of 77059 Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out. The 10+ model is the only non-LEGO Polybag Animal Crossing set of the year, as much of the LEGO Group's gaming theme budget is being spent on the brand-new LEGO Pokémon line. 77059 Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out includes a total of 513 pieces retailing for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 once it releases on the 1st of August 2026. The set itself is another brick-built character-based model, but the first for the LEGO Animal Crossing theme, moving away from the stereotypical Minifigure-scale playset seen since the theme's debut a couple of years ago. Two brick-built characters of the twin tauki (raccoon) Timmy and Tommy are recreated in a somewhat similar style to two LEGO Disney sets that were released earlier this year: 43284 Mini Anna & Elsa and 43303 Mini Jasmine & Rapunzel. The two LEGO characters in 77059 Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out, however, are slightly larger and more detailed, both utilising new curved slopes with large prints to recreate the expressive faces of Timmy and Tommy. Both figures also include new arm elements, which include even more posability. We expect to see these pieces used with other brick-built figures, both in the LEGO Animal Crossing theme and other licensed LEGO sets. Tom Nook's sons, with their printed Hawaiian-like shirts, can then be placed on a beautiful brick-built scene of a classic Animal Crossing environment. A red bridge takes up most of the scene alongside various plants, patches of green grass and a calming river flowing through the brick-built environment. A rotating feature is included on the water where the figures can go fishing, along with another accessory, a floating gift balloon. 77059 Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out Set Name - Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out Set Number - 77059 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 513 Minifigures - 0 Price - $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 - Shop Now at LEGO Release Date - 1st August 2026 77059 Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out releases on the 1st of August 2026, but what do you think? Does this shift to brick-built characters work better than the usual Minifigure-scale Animal Crossing sets? How do you feel about the detailed river scene, bridge build and fishing feature included here? Let us know your thoughts and whether you plan to pick this one up in the comments. If you are excited to see LEGO Animal Crossing explore new build styles, share this post with friends who love the game. • LEGO BrickHeadz 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Officially Revealed | June 2026

Our second LEGO Shrek-branded set has now also been officially revealed with another selection of brick-built figures, but this time as part of the collectable LEGO BrickHeadz theme. In particular, Shrek, Donkey and Gingy are coming to the BrickHeadz line under the same set of 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures. The 10+ model includes 259 pieces, retailing for $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 and releasing on the 1st of June 2026 alongside 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots. Our second brick-built Shrek is recreated in the classic BrickHeadz style with his green skin tone, rounded shape and belly, and signature tunic. The ogre includes the classic black 1x1 LEGO BrickHeadz eyes along with the LEGO glass cup element in green to replicate the character's unique ears. A printed version of Shrek's 'Beware Ogre' sign is also included as an accessory. Donkey follows the same blocky, BrickHeadz style but with more expressive shaping through his brick-built face and muzzle. His design focuses heavily on capturing his personality, with Donkey's large two front teeth front and centre. The rest of the build is in a mainly grey colour scheme, while Donkey's ears can be readjusted to make the iconic character happier or sadder. Gingy completes the trio as the smallest figure in the set, measuring just over 2 inches (5 cm) tall. His design leans into his cookie-based appearance with printed icing details forming his facial expression and a single 1x1 round purple tile replicating his buttons. The figure doesn't include the standard LEGO BrickHeadz eyes and instead features 1x1 white studs and light blue elements for the gingerbread man's eyebrows. 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Set Name - Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures Set Number - 40923 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 259 Minifigure - 0 Price - $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 - Shop Now at LEGO Release Date - 1st June 2026 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures releases on the 1st of June 2026, but what do you think?
