Another day and even more LEGO March 2024 set reveals including another LEGO Harry Potter set. However, this time it's neither a play set nor a D2C and is instead a brand new LEGO Harry Potter Brickheadz pack. The new LEGO Brickheadz set will be releasing on 1st March 2024 under the set number 40677 and includes brick-built versions of Harry Potter characters from the third film, The Prisoner of Azkaban. 40677 Prisoner of Azkaban Figures is a 5-pack of LEGO Harry Potter Brickheadz retailing for $49.99 making each Brickheadz build worth $10. A total of 697 pieces are included to create the five Harry Potter characters all based on the third installment of the franchise. These five characters are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Sirius Black, a Dementor and a Stag Patronus. The first three also include wands in their hands and are remakes of previous LEGO Brickheadz. 2024 looks to be the year of LEGO and Formula 1 as we eagerly await a range of brand-new sets between the two brands. The first of these has now been officially revealed with it being the previously rumoured LEGO Icons set of 10330 F1 MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna. Recent 18+ brick-built vehicles have seen sales start to dwindle and so LEGO has gone all out with this most iconic and powerful racing car. The iconic McLaren Formula 1 Car will be arriving on 1st March 2024 in brick-built LEGO form under the LEGO Icons branding and black boxes. The MP4/4 was used during the 1988 Formula 1 season where it absolutely dominated beating fierce competitors such as Ferrari and Williams. The car won 15 out of 16 races that season delivering a World Drivers Championship to McLaren's star driver, Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian superstar driver himself is included in 10330 as an exclusive Minifigure. He includes a new printed torso and legs of the McLaren overalls he worse that season along with a printed helmet and a hairpiece for the iconic driver. LEGO Ayrton Senna sits on a small brick-built podium in white next to the main build of the MP4/4. Here there's a LEGO trophy for Aryton to hold along with a printed plaque with some details about the F1 driver. As the official images show, the 1988 vehicle is unsurprisingly coloured white and red with plenty of stickers being used for iconic brands such as Honda and Shell. 2024 marks 13 years of the LEGO NINJAGO theme but the range of ninja-related sets doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Already we've had the release of a wave of mainly mechs and other sadly unexciting builds, but the second wave of 2024 seems much more exciting for the LEGO NINJAGO line. This second wave will release on the 1st of March 2024 covering a bunch of sets including 71813 Shadow Dojo. The 2024 LEGO NINJAGO set was previously believed to be a 1st January 2024 release but we now have confirmation that it'll be coming in just under two months time. 71813 will be one of the biggest LEGO NINJAGO sets of 2024 with a retail price of $119.99 for a total of 1,190 pieces. Thats only a few pieces less than another $120 set releasing in March of 71819 Dragonstone Temple. Those 1,190 pieces in the Shadow Dojo are used to create three main builds. One of these is a ring where Lloyd and Arin can duel, the other a tree which has a rope that's attached to the Dojo and of course, the final and main building is the Shadow Dojo building itself. The brick-built Dojo is a mix of black, dark blue, grey and pink. Above the Dojo building is a black and red ball and at the centre is a large, highly detailed build for a Wolf's mouth. In this interesting build of a wolf's mouth hangs a large golden ball build, further expanding the intricate builds of the 9+ LEGO NINJAGO set. And of course, the fun doesn't stop there as 71813 Shadow Dojo also includes a total of eight Minifigures. These include Kai, Nya, Zane, Lloyd, Arin, Cinder, Ras and a Wolf Warrior. The next wave of LEGO NINJAGO sets is getting ever and ever closer to release with a total of seven sets becoming available on the 1st of March 2024. Amongst these is a brand new mech, and our first and only mech releasing in March after an action-packed, and heavily mech-filled, January wave. The March 2024 mech model is 71812 Kai's Ninja Climbing Mech which will retail for $69.99 with a total of 623 pieces. 71812 Kai's Ninja Climbing Mech is a brand new brick-built red mech for the ninja Kai and thanks to 2TTOYS, we have our first image of the set . As you can see, the mech is a large size with a total of four thin arms included. Two of the arms have hooks for climbing whilst the other two have large golden swords. The rumours keep on circulating as we edge ever and ever closer to the next wave of brand-new LEGO NINJAGO sets. The second wave of 2024 for the unlicensed LEGO theme will consist of a much wider variety of brick-built models compared to January which featured a lot of mech builds. Amongst these is 71810 Riyu The Baby Dragon which will retail for $15.99 with 132 pieces once it's available from the 1st of March 2024. This $16 LEGO NINJAGO set is unsurprisingly a brick-built version of Riyu The Baby Dragon which has become very popular in the recent series of the show. He'll be in his usual mix of blue and greys along with a brand new head mould and brand new wing moulds for the brick-built baby dragon explaining the higher price. All but one of the LEGO Harry Potter sets releasing on 1st March 2024 have been officially revealed with this set being the first D2C of 2024. In particular, its 76429 which is an 18+ brick-built version of the iconic Sorting Hat entitled Talking Sorting Hat. We've already seen this set before as it appeared in an online survey early last year but we now have leaked images of the official set and its box art. The brick-built version of the brown talking hat can actually talk in brick-built form as a sound brick will be included. Along with other bigger, moulded pieces, this would explain why for only 561 pieces, 76429 Talking Sorting Hat retails for $99.99. The hat also comes with a black stand making it 25 cm tall in total. The LEGO Star Wars 2024 reveals just keep on coming but we finally have our final official pictures for the March wave of sets for the interglatic theme. In particualr, this is our third and final midi scale Star Wars ship a brick-built recreation of the Invisible Hand starship. The ship, coming under the set number 75377, will be appearing in LEGO form for the first time once it releases on 1st March 2024. The Invisible Hand is General Grievous' battleship on which Chancellor Palpatine is trapped at the beginning of Revenge of the Sixth. The LEGO version of the ship includes 557 pieces, measuring 30cm long and retailing for $49.99. Just like two other sets releasing on 1st March 2024 of 75375 Millenium Falcon and 75376 Tantive IV, 75377 Invisible Hand is midi-scale so will not include an interior or be compatible with Minifigures. However, the $50 set is celebrating the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary by including a special print for 25 years of the partnership. This is attached to the black stand and name plaque which has been included in all the midi scale ships revealed today. After an action-packed January wave, the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme will see its second wave of sets release in just over a months time. This wave will be available beginning 1st March 2024 and includes only two brand-new sets. One of these has been officially revealed today of 31154 Forest Animals: Red Fox which includes 667 pieces retailing for $49.99. Like all LEGO Creator 3in1 models, the 667 pieces included in 31154 are used to create three different builds. One of these is a beautifully brick-built Red Fox with a small tree stump side build to match the mix of white, orange and brown of the fox. The other two builds are more darker-coloured forest animals of an Owl and a Squirrel. R2-D2 has been one of the most loveable and popular droids in the Star Wars franchise, appearing in plenty of films and shows, and LEGO sets. Not only has R2-D2 been a Minifigure plenty of times, but he's also been a giant brick-built character in many UCS-style 18+ sets. However, on 1st March 2024 the droid wis returning to his brick-built character form but this time at a more child-friendly and playable scale. This set, which has been officially revealed today, comes under the set number 75379 and is unsurprisingly just named R2-D2. Retailing for $99.99 with 1,050 pieces, the set is aimed more at children rather than adults which can be reflected through its 10+ branding. This can also be seen through much less complicated building techniques and styles compared to its 2021 counterpart. The brick-built version of R2 measures 24cm high, 7 cm less than the last buildable R2-D2 of 75308 which released almost 3 years ago. 75379s build of R2-D2 includes a moveable head, R2's third leg which can also be moved and adjusted, a periscope and many different tools that appear throughout the films.
