The highly anticipated nostalgic LEGO Creator 3in1 set of 31132 Viking ship and the Midgard Serpent has been revealed giving us a look at a modern-day LEGO Viking ship. As with every LEGO Creator 3in1 set, that isn't the only build included with the $119.99 that the set will retail for along with the 1192 pieces. The other two builds are of a Viking House with a red dragon and a giant brick-built Norse Wolf. However, the Viking ship is still the most interesting build of the bunch with its classic wooden ship with highlights of blue and yellow. Its sail is also brick-built with the classic pirate-like look of red and white stripes. All these colours match perfectly with the Viking shields along the side of the ship. Four Minifigures are also included along with the Midgard Serpent which is a mix of blue just like the alternative build for the large brick-built wolf. The LEGO City theme is constantly expanding but we've finally got pictures of one of three train-themed sets for the theme coming this summer. It's been a few years since the last LEGO City Train set but three sets based on locomotives will be coming on 1st June 2022. These include 60336 Freight Train which thanks to the LEGO Building Instructions App, now has images of the set with an official reveal of all three of the train sets very soon. The Freight Train will be a very similar build to previous LEGO City Freight Trains but 60336 will be a more futuristic blue, white and yellow. Three freight cars of a flat car, an open car and a car transport car. There are two electric cars as cargo, as well as an e-car charging station. The containers can also be loaded using a reach stacker. A few of the track pieces including a switch track will be included along with a couple of Powered Up functions. The highly anticipated return to LEGO form for Back to the Future is here with 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine. As the name indicates, it will be based on the DeLorean car but as a larger brick-built version retailing for $169.99. All three models of the DeLorean are included from all of the three different films making up the large piece count of 1872 pieces. To help make the variation between the different models more realistic a couple of number plate prints, hubcaps, electron tubes, a Mr Fushion generator and more are included to show the variation of the different films. The wheels can also be folded down so it's in its flying position and the wing-like doors can be easily opened. A detailed cockpit is also included with the model along with a built-in flux capacitor which will use a light brick to help illuminate the vehicle's special feature. It's stored directly behind the detailed flux capacitor giving a different colour to the mainly grey and silver model. Even though the set is a Creator Expert size, two brand new Minifigures are included in the set. These Minifigures are Marty in his dark red jacket and grey sleeves and Doc in his yellow coat over his redshirt. Both have new facial expressions and some accessories of Marty's hoverboard, a box of plutonium, a banana and a beer can to fill the Mr Fusion are also included. The LEGO Creator Expert theme has expanded drastically in recent years from Modular buildings to brick-built flowers and now they'll be a brick-built console. In particular, it'll be a LEGO version of the Atari 2600 console that celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. The retro console will be available from 1st August 2022 as an 18+ set especially aimed at those kids from the 80s. Just like the original Atari, the LEGO model will be similar in size and will be mainly black with light brown panels to round off the look. The classic side controls will also be included along with a slot for the game cartridges at the top of the console. The well-known game Pitfall will have its own LEGO cartridge with the set allowing the mechanically connected controllers to actually play a classic 80s game by opening up the console. Pitfall will be the only game shown with the Atari 2600 but really brings an iconic scene from the game to life smartly packaged into the console itself. The hero Pitfall Harry hangs on a liana in a jungle scene and swings over a pit with crocodiles. This movement can be made even more realistic by a LEGO version of the CX40 joystick also included in the set. Altogether this makes for a pretty big set even if it's not the most colourful and play feature friendly LEGO model ever. Even though the LEGO Creator 3in1 Summer 2022 sets haven't even been revealed, we already have our first information on a 2023 set. Currently, only one set for the theme is rumoured for 2023 of 31133 White Rabbit. The name and piece count of 258 pieces suggests the main build will be a white brick-built rabbit with the other two builds likely to be other brick-built animals that are mainly white. Another day and another LEGO Star Wars Summer 2022 rumour but this time about our first ever LEGO set based on the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The series itself will start on Disney+ from 27th May 2022 with this set releasing a couple of months later on 1st August 2022. We may even get a reveal for the set on the same day as the last episode of the series just like the Book of Boba Fett did. The set itself had been previously rumoured to be based on some form of location and this has now been confirmed to be a battle between Obi-Wand and Vader. This comes as no surprise but should be a spectacle to watch on screen and in LEGO form. Minifigures included will most likely be Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader and maybe one more. As we reported recently, the next LEGO Architecture set is 21058 The Great Pyramid of Giza and thanks to Promobricks.de we now know more information about the 18+ set. In particular, the set will be based on how the pyramid complex looked 4000 years ago today. Because of the detail that will go into replicating this historic monument, 1476 pieces are included retailing for $129.99. Just like the real thing all those years ago, the LEGO version will be built mainly with white bricks and features a golden keystone on top of the pyramid. This all fits on to a classic LEGO Architecture diorama being around 46 studs wide and 30 studs deep and being surrounded by a narrow black frame that includes a printed name tile. In the foreground of the diorama, there's the river Nile that stretches the whole width of the set with one or two ships sailing across it. In the middle of the river is a temple-like jetty which is connected by a path to the entrance of the pyramid in the background. Next to the river are two other smaller pyramids, several small houses and a few palm trees. However, the actual Great Pyramid of Giza which will take up most of the set is only half of the pyramid itself as the inside is open. Here we can see the King and Queens chambers along with a large gallery and airshafts. Even though the LEGO Minecraft Summer 2022 sets haven't even been revealed, we already have our first information on some 2023 sets. A total of three sets are rumoured to be coming next year with all three being LEGO Minecraft Brickheadz. The LEGO NINJAGO theme keeps on expanding with at least three waves of sets rumoured to be releasing this year. The first rumours for this year's LEGO Winter Village Collection set have emerged with the set going by the number of 10308. Similar to last year, little information about the set is known apart from its set number and price which will once again be $99.99. Last year's Winter Village set of 10293 Santa's Visit had that exact price with a piece count of 1445 suggesting that this year's version will also have a piece count around 1400. This year's version is also rumoured to release a month earlier on 1st September 2022 rather than in October to most likely avoid the set being out of the stock for most of the Christmas period. We're closer now than ever to this year's Star Wars Day as LEGO have officially revealed their flagship set for May The Fourth 2022. Unsurprisingly, it's another Luke's Landpseeder from LEGO but this time it's in a much more detailed and bigger, Ultimate Collector Series version. 75341 Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder will be available from 1st May 2022 when all the May The Fourth promos go live for the first time including this year's main promo. This brand new LEGO Star Wars UCS set is one of the smallest so far retailing for $199.99 which is the same price as 75275 A-wing Starfighter. However, it is slightly small than the A-wing as the Landspeeder is naturally a smaller build in the Star Wars franchise. But the usual UCS details are still included like the long black stand that can be readjusted to shape the Landspeeder and the information plaque. The main build itself of the Landspeeder is the usual Nougat brown colour with hints of red and grey along with a brand new curved LEGO windshield piece which is around 12 studs wide. The May The Fourth 2022 promo saga continues as more rumours have appeared suggesting that a familiar LEGO Polybag will be returning for the occasion. In particular, its now been rumoured that 30625 Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk will be available as a promotional item for May The Fourth 2022. Many LEGO fans will already know that this is the same polybag that was offered with the LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition videogame. Now that the game has finally been released, the Polybag has been more widely available but still fairly hard to find. This has led to a massive increase in ebay sales of the Polyabg at ridiculous prices. But even with that in mind, it's been reported that LEGO has overproduced the polybag for the number of Deluxe Editions of the Skywalker Saga game that are available. This has now led to LEGO reportedly thinking of repurposing 30625 to be this year's May The Fourth 2022 promo to profitably get rid of the LEGO Star Wars Polybag. The next LEGO Ideas set is right around the corner of 21333 Vincent Van Gogh: A Starry Night and so is the next LEGO Ideas Gift With Purchase. In particular, it'll be 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures which won a LEGO Ideas space-themed contest last year. As was said in the competition details, the winner would have there idea turned into a real LEGO GWP and Ivan Guerrero's The Adventures of the USS Cardboard will become one this May. The set itself is very similar to the original design of a young boys bedroom but a small side build is also included of what looks to be a teddy bear in a toy mech. His bedroom os mainly a dark blue with stars on the wall to represent the night sky. His bed has been turned into a rocket ship with the help of his toys and a couple of cardboard boxes. Our second and final LEGO Marvel set based on the upcoming fourth Thor film, Thor: Love & Thunder, has finally been officially revealed. The set was originally leaked almost two months ago and the other set, 76208 The Goat Boat, had already been revealed almost two months ago too. However, 76207 Attack on New Asgard has given us another look at the upcoming film which currently still has no trailer. The set itself includes three Minifigures along with a main build of a brick built Monster. The Minifigures are of Mighty Thor, Thor and Gorr who are all not exclusive. The Monster meanwhile is called the Shadow Monster and he's reportedly been summoned by Gorr. The Shadow Monster's dark green arms and legs can move and will be available from 26th April 2022 for $19.99. The LEGO City theme is constantly expanding but we'll finally be getting some train-themed sets for the theme coming within only a couple of months. It's been a few years since the last LEGO City Train set but three sets based on locomotives will be coming on 1st June 2022. These include a brand new Train Station meaning we'll finally have a detailed Minifigure scale Station with a more detailed Passenger Train also coming in another set. 60335 Train Station 60335 will be a LEGO City set devoted to just a Train Station which will easily be able to connect to 60336 and 60337. However, like recent LEGO City sets, one of the road plate pieces will be included right next to the train station which won't be a very big build. A bus will also be included along with most likely another vehicle. This should be the set with the most Minifigures out of these three sets.
