The LEGO City great vehicle line constantly produces a brand new wave of cars, trucks, planes, boats and much more each year. And 2024 is no different with the likes of 60404 Burger Truck and 60418 Police Mobile Crime Lab Truck releasing on 1st January 2024. Along with those two, there will also be 60438 Sailboat which is rumoured for a 1st January 2024 release thanks to Brick Clicker on Youtube. Not many sailboats have appeared in the LEGO City subtheme with the most recent being the now-retired 60168 Sailboat Rescue. However, for $19.99, 60438 Sailboat is likely to be entirely a Sailboat along with a possibly a small side build that can be located in the ocean. A singular Minifigure will also be included of a sailor possibly with the classic LEGO sailor's hat and torso along with the usual accessories of some binoculars and a lifejacket. 60438 Sailboat Set Name - Sailboat Set Number - 60438 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

The beginning of 2024 marked the release of a brand new LEGO Easter set of 40709 Spring Animal Playground but that's not all the brick-built fun coming this Easter. Current rumours suggest that at least one Gift With Purchase will release in March for the springtime holiday along with a brand-new polybag. In particular, this new LEGO Easter polybag is 30668 Easter Bunny with Colourful Eggs which has now been officially revealed The brand-new Polybag which will retail for the usual price of $4.99 includes another cute brick-built rabbit. This time it's a small white rabbit with long ears and a cute 1x1 dark pink stud as a nose. The rabbit holds a brick-built carrot in his paws which seems fairly detailed even for a very small build with only 68 pieces. Three small Easter eggs on a patch of grass are included as a side build: one is yellow, another red and the final one is blue. Like previous years, 2024's Easter season will see the release of a brand new exclusive LEGO Easter Gift With Purchase. However, 30668 Easter Bunny with Colourful Eggs is also likely to become a GWP alongside the main 2024 Easter promotional set. This would most likely happen at the mid-way point in March and last until just a couple of days after Easter Sunday of the 31st of March 2024. 30668 Easter Bunny with Colourful Eggs Polybag Set Name - Easter Bunny with Colourful Eggs Polybag Set Number - 30668 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 68 Price - $4.99 Release Date - March 2024

Less than three months into the brand new year of 2024 and we've already had a total of three brand new LEGO Ideas 18+ sets. And in just over a months time on the 1st of April 2024, that number will become four as 21348 Dungeons & Dragons will release. The latest fan-made set will become the most expensive model of the year for the LEGO Ideas theme with 3,745 pieces retailing for $359.99. In 2022, LEGO and the LEGO Ideas theme announced another collaboration with Hasbro, this time joining forces with its Dungeons & Dragons brand. Master builders could submit their own Dungeons & Dragons-themed brick-built models on the LEGO Ideas platform with one of these designs becoming an actual set. The contest was announced in October 2022, and it was revealed early last year that Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End by BoltBuilds emerged as the winner. Since then, the LEGO designers along with BoltBuilds have been hard at working create the latest 18+ licensed set for the LEGO Ideas theme. And now we're just a few weeks away from seeing their final model which will retail for $360. At that price point of $360, 3,745 pieces are included making it just over 700 more than the original model. That original submission very much played into the game's main selling points as BoltBricks created a brick-built idea that includes various pathways with interchangeable doors to always tell a story with different objectives. One of the various pathways includes the Witches Tower which features a laboratory, an armoury, a well, and a trapdoor to deter unwanted visitors. Another highly detailed building includes the Tavern. Here, many brick-built stories can begin and end especially as it's located right next to the tower and the dungeon lurking with plenty of mysteries. Along with the main buildings and scenery of the 18+ model, at least three brick-built creatures are included: an Owl bear, a displacer beast and a beholder. But the biggest creature of them all is the Dragon which is now coloured in red rather than green. It also includes cloth wings which, even though they may be worst in quality, is an attempt to reduce the price of the LEGO Ideas model. And 21348 Dungeons & Dragons isn't complete without six brand new exclusive Minifigures. These Minifigures are a green Dragonborn bard (recolour of the LEGO VIDIYO dragon head), a rogue, a warrior, a white-haired High-Elven druid, a conjurer with a book and a black-robed warlock who sits right at the top of the tower. 21348 Dungeons & Dragons Set Name - Dungeons & Dragons Set Number - 21348 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,745 Price - $359.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024 This rounds off another expensive, but also extremely exciting LEGO Ideas set to celebrate Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary. But what do you think? Is LEGO Dungeons and Dragons a dream come true for you? Or are you waiting to see all the other exciting sets releasing under the LEGO Ideas umbrella? Let us know in the comments below.

Already a brand new LEGO Ideas set for 2024 is on shelves ready to be purchased, but two more will be releasing in just a couple of weeks time. One of these is 21346 Family Tree which was officially revealed over a week ago but we now have official pictures of the second set releasing in the month of February 2024 for the LEGO Ideas theme. The previously rumoured 18+ set is 21347 Red London Telephone Box The third LEGO Ideas set of 2024 is the first to be worth over $100 with 21347 retailing for $114.99 with 1,460 pieces. The brick-built iconic Telephone Box located mainly in the city of London measures 31 cm high and 19 cm wide. Within the 1,460 pieces included, there is the possibility to build the phone as either a vintage rotary phone or a 1990s-inspired telephone. Inside the beautifully built Red London Telephone Box there's a light brick on the roof which can be activated by pressing the roof of the booth. Around the telephone, there's a small section of paved street, a lamp with hanging flowers, a small flower pot and a fence with an iconic street sign from London of 'Buildmore Road'. These side builds are very similar to those included in the original submission by Bricked1980 . 21347 Red London Telephone Box Set Name - Red London Telephone Box Set Number - 21347 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,460 Price - $114.99 Release Date - 3rd February 2024

A couple of survey sets have now been officially revealed, and the next is just days away. The previously rumoured 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage is reportedly being officially presented on Thursday the 15th of March 2024 according to YouTuber Brick Clicker. The 18+ LEGO Disney set will then become available in stores and online just a few weeks later starting on 1st March 2024. The latest LEGO Disney set aimed at adults and an older audience has created plenty of hype since its original leak a year ago. The set has come a long way in that time though, decreasing slightly in size but definitely increasing in quality and detail. It will still include a large amount of pieces at 2,228 pieces at a reasonable retail price of $219.99 for the brick-built cottage. Snow White's Cottage is a beautifully built model, capturing the iconic cottage we saw on our screens for the first time many years ago. The LEGO version uses a tan colour scheme for the exterior of the build with a dark or curry yellow roof to replicate the straw-like effect of the cosy cottage. Different shades of brown can be seen around the windows, doors and other areas of the exterior to replicate wood. A couple of the brown tiles around the windows even include wooden prints with hearts in the middle. Plenty of scenery surrounds the front of the Cottage with a small dirt track leading to the front door and the rest being surrounded by green plates to signify grass. A couple of brick-built trees can also be seen here along with plenty of specialised leaf and vegetation pieces. There’s even a couple hanging above the door to give the cottage that forest look, replicating its animated version.   Moving on inside, an open-back structure allows the 18+ LEGO Disney set to be easily accessible and playable inside and out. Reportedly there’s also a hinge connection to allow the Cottage to be moved, played and displayed however you may wish. The interior carries on the colour scheme seen on the exterior but expands across two relatively open and accessible floors.   Features inside include a fireplace with an operational light brick, a large table with all the wonderful Minifigures included in 43242 to sit around, a few beds for the dwarfs to sleep in, a chest amongst other storage spaces and a spider exploring the darkest areas of the cottage. Plenty more details and fun builds are included inside of the cottage but until we get official images on Thursday the 15th of February 2024, we don’t know exactly what these are. The beautifully built cottage isn’t the only build of the $230 set, however. A small well covered with plants and of course the bed in which Snow White can lay in whilst having her seven dwarfs around her. These are on separate plates to the cottage allowing them to again be displayed and played with in any way you wish. Even though 43242 is a LEGO 18+ set, the designers have still included plenty of play features and easter eggs to reference one of Disney’s most iconic films.   But the set is not done there. For $230 and 2,228 pieces, a total of 10 Minifigures are included. These of course include Snow White along with each of the seven Dwarfs, but we also get the Evil Queen and Prince Florian. Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Dopey are all exclusive with brand new facial expressions and a brand new beard element is also included on one of the Dwarfs. 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage Set Name - Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage Set Number - 43242 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,228 Price - $219.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024 With a rumoured official reveal of Thursday the 15th of February 2024, we won't be waiting long to see the latest 18+ LEGO Disney set and one that we’ve been waiting on for some time. Let us know what you think in the comments below. Featured image: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o-R5Bnungw&t=131s

Broadway and LEGO are set to be joining forces in a surprising brand-new LEGO theme for 2024. That's right, the iconic Westend musical Wicked will have its own LEGO theme starting on the 1st of October 2024. The musical was first performed over 20 years ago on the 10th of June 2003 but has continued to grow in popularity year on year. 2024 has already seen the release of one brand new LEGO theme of LEGO Animal Crossing but LEGO Wicked is set to be the second. Many films and games have seen their franchises turned into brick-built LEGO form, but never a musical before. Wicked will become the first LEGO theme to be based on Broadway talent yet it will also tie into the upcoming Wicked movie. The highly anticipated film comes out later this year on the 27th of November 2024 - just under two months before these four LEGO sets. The film adaptation will be split into two parts due to the story's complexity and length. Part 1 is releasing this November with part 2 expected to release as early as 2025. This first wave of LEGO sets will be based on Wicked Part 1 but we expect LEGO to also cover the second part of the adaptation. As we've already mentioned, the LEGO Wicked theme will kick off with a total of four sets ranging from $30 to $90. These seem fairly reasonable but we are still unaware of the corresponding piece counts or what will be included in each set. However, we can roughly guess that the most iconic locations in both the musical and the film will appear in brick-built form along with plenty of exclusive LEGO Minifigures. 75681 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75681 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75682 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75682 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75683 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75683 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 75684 *LEGO Wicked* Set Name - *LEGO Wicked* Set Number - 75684 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $89.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 Another year and plenty more brand-new themes from LEGO. But what do you think of Wicked? Will it be one of LEGO's most successful themes in 2024? Let us know in the comments below.

LEGO and its videogame-inspired themes have continued to grow over the past few years with the introduction of Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. But it doesn't stop there as LEGO will be further expanding its videogame-based sets with a brand new licensed theme coming on 1st March 2024. In particular, this brand new theme will be another Nintendo and LEGO tie of Animal Crossing LEGO sets. That's right at least five LEGO Animal Crossing sets will be releasing next year making it the fourth LEGO videogame-inspired theme currently on shelves. The Animal Crossing franchise has continued to grow and grow over the past few years ever since the release of the highly successful New Horizons videogame on the Nintendo Switch. And LEGO has decided to tap into this popularity to make a full theme for the social simulation videogame. The five LEGO Animal Crossing sets releasing on 1st March 2024 seem to spread across a range of prices but are still fairly accessible. The most expensive of these is 77050 which for only 535 pieces will retail for $74.99. Luckily the other four remaining sets have much better price-per-piece ratios such as 77046 with 170 pieces for $14.99 and 77049 with 389 pieces for $39.99. Apart from these five sets ranging from 77046 to 77050 and their respective prices and pieces, not much more information is known about LEGOs newest theme. However, Brick Clicker is reporting that the theme, unlike LEGO Super Mario, will be fully Minifigure scale with characters having moulded heads to fit on classic Minifigure bodies. It'll be extremely interesting and exciting to see this and much more in LEGO form on 1st March 2024... 77046 *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Name - *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Number - 77046 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 170 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024 77047 *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Name - *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Number - 77047 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 164 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024 77048 *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Name - *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Number - 77048 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 233 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024 77049 *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Name - *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Number - 77049 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 389 Price - $39.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024 77050 *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Name - *LEGO Animal Crossing* Set Number - 77050 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 535 Price - $74.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024

After the introduction of the figures in 2022, the LEGO Marvel Construction Figures are set to continue for another year in 2024. Another three characters will be recreated in this brick-built form which also spread into the LEGO DC theme with the release of 76259 Batman Construction Figure on 1st June 2023. However, 2024s wave of Construction Figures releasing on 1st April 2024 will be purely LEGO Marvel. The first of these is 76284 Green Goblin Construction Figure which is also the most expensive and biggest of the three. Unlike the other two, 76284 will release for $2 more at $34.99 probably due to its considerably larger piece count at 471 pieces. This may be because Green Goblins figure needs more of a bigger build or he may also include his iconic glider which also ended up killing him. Next we have our second Captain America set releasing on 1st April 2024 of 76296 Sam Wilson Captain America Construction Figure. We've already had one Captain America Construction Figure under the set number 76258 but this version which will retail for $32.99 is based on the Sam Wilson version with wings. And finally, we have our third and final LEGO Marvel Construction Figure of 2024 which is 76298 Spider-Man Construction Figure. A LEGO Spider-Man Construction Figure is already on shelves with the set number 76226 suggesting that 76298 is an alternative suit. Hopefully, that means another No Way Home set as LEGO finally explore 2021s hit movie. 76284 Green Goblin Construction Figure Set Name - Green Goblin Construction Figure Set Number - 76284 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 471 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024 76296 Sam Wilson Captain America Construction Figure Set Name - Sam Wilson Captain America Construction Figure Set Number - 76296 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 359 Price - $32.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024 76298 Spider-Man Construction Figure Set Name - Spider-Man Construction Figure Set Number - 76298 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 303 Price - $32.99 Release Date - 1st April 2024

It was only a few hours ago our first image appeared, but the official presentation has now taken place and we have our first official images of the next LEGO Icons 2024 set. In particular, this set is 10332 Medieval Town Square which is the latest 18+ model based on one of LEGO's oldest and most nostalgic themes, LEGO Castle. After a year in the rumour mill, 10332 will be available beginning from the 3rd of March 2024. Those of you keen LEGO fans will know that this set has been rumoured since last February when a survey online leaked a medieval-like 18+ build for the LEGO Icons theme. And this set of 10332 is that build but includes 104 pieces more than the original leak with a slightly bigger and more detailed build than the original leaked model. 10332 will also retail for a fair price of $229.99 for those 3,304 pieces included. 10332 Medieval Town Square is basically a bigger and more detailed successor to 10193 Medieval Market Village from 2009. LEGO sets have come a long way in 15 years so the 2024 set is quite different and more detailed with modern building techniques. The original leaked set included plenty of information about the build but these brand new official images show that the model has been somewhat adapted and updated. The medieval town contains two main buildings which can be connected, rearrange and built in whatever way you like. These buildings are open at the back, allowing plenty of details and fun builds in the interior of each building as well as the exterior. Hinges are used on each of the builds along them to be swung open further or closed for displaying your medieval town square. Each building seems to include different shops and workplaces for the Minifigures of the medieval town. There's an old farmhouse, a cheese factory, an inn named The Broken Axes Inn and a shieldsmith's workshop. The buildings are all very cleverly built with a stone watch tower also integrated into one of the buildings as a reference to the most recent LEGO Castle set of 10305 Lion Knights Castle. Other builds of the $230 set include a wooden cart, a small food stand and a tree with a small section of water. Along with a lot of Minifigures, a couple of animals are also included in the set. the most exciting of all of the animals is a goat which reuses that iconic goat piece that recently returned in the latest LEGO Minifigure series of 71045 Series 25. However, this time it's in an exclusive grey colouring. Finally, a total of eight Minifigures are included in 10332 Medieval Town Square. These include a knight on top of the watch tower, a tapestry worker, a young boy, the owner of the inn, the tax collector along with a couple of the townsfolk. As already mentioned, 10332 will be available to purchase very soon as it hits shelves in just a few weeks time on the 3rd of March 2024. 10332 Medieval Town Square Set Name - Medieval Town Square Set Number - 10332 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,304 Price - $229.99 Release Date - 3rd March 2024

Amongst the many reveals over the past week or so, we've had the official presentation of this year's exclusive LEGOLAND set. In 2023 we saw 40556 LEGOLAND Mythica set and in 2024 40710 Pirate Splash Battle will be available exclusively at all LEGOLANDs and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres across the globe. 40710 actually first became available to purchase beginning the 1st of January 2024 but with many parks around the world closed during this period, and still now, official images have only surfaced in the last week or so. However, many LEGOLAND Discovery Centres are currently open so you will be able to purchase 40710 there for a retail price of $24.99. 40710 Pirate Splash Battle includes 171 pieces to recreate the attraction where you can ride pirate ships and splash both your friends and family and other spectators. In this brick-built version, 40710 includes the red and white pirate ship with two water cannons. A small section of land is also included with another water cannon to splash those on the pirate ship. A total of three Minifigures, a shark and a parrot are also included for $25. 40710 Pirate Splash Battle Set Name - Pirate Splash Battle Set Number - 40710 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 171 Price - $24.99 Release Date - 1st January 2024

Amongst the many March 2024 reveals over the past few days we've also had a brand new LEGO store exclusive set be officially revealed. In particular, its 40714 Carousel Ride which retails for $24.95 with a total of 232 pieces. The LEGO Creator branded set will be available beginning on the 1st of March 2024 and rumours suggest it will retire at the end of this year. The set itself includes a total of three Minifigures. One is the operator of the Carousel ride whilst the other two are young kids with accessories like a camera, a ticket for the ride, a coin and an ice lolly. The Carousel Ride is the only build of the set which consists of four very colourful cars: a swan, a whale, a fire engine and a boat. The Carousel can of course be moved by moving a bright blue cog at the side of the Carousel build. 40714 Carousel Ride Set Name - Carousel Ride Set Number - 40714 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 232 Price - $24.95 Release Date - 1st March 2024

For over two decades, LEGO MINDSTORMS has been the foundation of robotics education, inspiring millions of students and educators alike to delver into the exciting world of robotics with LEGO. From the early days of the Robotics Invention System (RIS) 2.0 to the most recent iteration, the EV3, LEGO MINDSTORMS has continuously evolved, shaping the minds of future innovators and engineers. However, as with plenty of LEGO themes in the past, all good things must come to an end. News of the discontinuation of the LEGO MINDSTORMS theme was announced in October 2022 with it being only a few months after that the range of sets could no longer be purchased. For many fans, MINDSTORMS was not just a toy but a gateway to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. In response to this void, a team of passionate roboticists has embarked on a mission to fill the gap left by the departure of LEGO MINDSTORMS back in 2022. Enter EVN ALPHA, the spiritual successor and natural evolution to the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 system. Since its inception in 2002, LEGO MINDSTORMS has witnessed plenty of changes and upgrades from the RIS 2.0 to the NXT and eventually the EV3 system. Each iteration brought with it new features and capabilities, propelling robotics education with LEGO to new heights. However, with the discontinuation of MINDSTORMS, there was a pressing need for a new solution that could cater to the needs of educators and students alike. The hard-working team behind EVN ALPHA recognized this need and set out to create a robotics system that builds upon the foundation laid by LEGO MINDSTORMS while introducing innovative features to enhance the learning experience. It's a bigger, better, more modern version of LEGO MINDSTORMS - appealing to every LEGO Roboticist out there! At the heart of EVN ALPHA lies the RP2040 MicroController Chip, designed by Raspberry Pi. This powerful dual-core 133 MHz MCU offers not only performance but also compatibility with a range of programming languages, including Arduino, C/C++, MicroPython, and CircuitPython, providing users with a versatile platform for exploration and experimentation. One of the standout features of EVN ALPHA is its extensive connectivity options, boasting 26 ports for I2C, UART, Servos, EV3, and NXT Motors, among others. This allows for seamless integration with a wide range of peripherals, opening up a world of possibilities for robotics enthusiasts. Further seamless integration also takes place thanks to 64 LEGO Technic compatible holes, compared to just 32 holes of the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3. Furthermore, EVN ALPHA addresses some of the other limitations of previous LEGO MINDSTORMS iterations, such as the size and bulkiness of the controller. With a more compact form factor and improved build quality, EVN ALPHA offers a sleek and modern design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Measuring just 104 x 56 x 40mm, the EVN ALPHA is closer in size to the SPIKE Prime Hub than the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 or NXT. In addition to its hardware capabilities, EVN ALPHA also comes with a comprehensive library of educational resources and tutorials, designed to guide users through every step of their robotics journey. From basic programming concepts to advanced robotics projects, EVN ALPHA provides the tools and support needed to unleash creativity and innovation. But perhaps the most exciting aspect of EVN ALPHA is its potential to inspire the next generation of roboticists and LEGO roboticists in particular. By providing an accessible and affordable platform for learning and experimentation, EVN ALPHA aims to democratize robotics education and empower students to turn their dreams into reality. EVN Aplha has been described by CNX Software as the Spiritual Successor to the EV3 Hub with plenty more development planned in the future. EVN ALPHA was first developed by Kenneth Chow and his mentor Teng Yi at the end of 2018 to deliver world-beating robotics solutions. This was amplified further with the discontinuation of LEGO MINDSTORMS, the lack of modern resources and the existing robotics technology being extremely costly. Many found these factors a barrier to entry for getting involved in the STEM and robotics industry and education. " While building the V1.0 demonstration, something clicked. The EVN ALPHA finally felt like a product surpassing the EV3 rather than a one-off engineering prototype - better in many aspects, but incomplete overall. From then, it has been a crazy sprint, and we are excited to bring to life a product that we feel will change robotics education. " Kenneth is the founder of the Centre of Robotics Excellence (CORE) and is involved in many aspects of competitive robotics across a wide age range. Meanwhile, Teng Yi has four years of international competitive robotics experience under his belt, participating in and winning 5 RoboCup sub-leagues. Both have put in large amounts of time and effort into the EVN ALPHA to make robotics education as accessible as possible. As we continue to bid farewell to the LEGO MINDSTORMS legacy, let us welcome the dawn of a new era in robotics education with EVN ALPHA. Together, let's embark on a journey of discovery, innovation, and endless possibilities with EVN ALPHA thanks to its genius and innovative creators, Kenneth Chow and Teng Yi. "One aspect of accessibility is cost. We endeavour to bring the EVN to all of you at the lowest possible cost. Based on the initial prototypes that we have manufactured, we are confident that the price you are seeing [~USD230] is sustainable for us over the initial Kickstarter period. We have also given ourselves a rather generous timeframe to deliver EVN to you and intend to deliver as early as April if everything pans out as planned." If you've found this article interesting and would like to find out more and support the EVN ALPHA project and the work of Kenneth Chow and Teng Yi, then please click on the links below. A big thank you to Kenneth Chow who reached out to us at Bricks Up about the EVN ALPHA campaign. Thank you.

All eight LEGO Technic sets releasing on 1st March 2024 have been officially revealed giving us a glimpse at what's to come in 2024 for the unlicensed LEGO theme. Six out of the eight sets were released late last year but the other two were only officially presented a week ago. Now it's time to look through all eight of the latest high-tech models along with confirmation of their prices and piece counts. But the first of the initially revealed sets is another new McLaren Racing vehicle. This time it's the all-electric Formula E challenger of 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car. 42169 is the most expensive of the two McLaren Racing vehicles releasing in 2024 retailing for $49.99 with 452 pieces. Almost $30 more expensive than January 2024's 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car. Another racing vehicle is 42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R Motorcycle which is much more expensive than 42169. From 1st March it will be available for $84.99 with 643 pieces along with four more LEGO Technic sets all branded under the new space subtheme. These are 42178 Surface Space Loader LT78, 42179 Planet Earth and Moon in Orbit, 42180 Mars Crew Exploration Rover and 42181 VTOL Heavy Cargo Spaceship LT81. The LEGO and Formula 1 reveals just keep on coming, this time from the LEGO Technic brand. The high-tech theme aimed at older children and adults has already had one Formula 1 based set released back in 2022. In particular, the LEGO Technic F1 based set was 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car which featured 2021's livery but with the brand new car model for the 2022 season. But in 2024 we'll be seeing the Mercedes car manufacturer in its Formula 1 form under the set 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance. The brick-built F1 car features a total of 1,642 pieces for a retail price of $219.99. That's 210 more pieces and $20 more than the McLaren F1 car with the official images indicating a more complete and detailed build, whilst also accommodating the aggressive aerodynamics of Mercedes in the 2023 season. 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Set Name - Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Set Number - 42171 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,642 Price - $219.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024

Only two LEGO Technic sets releasing on 1st March 2024 hadn't been revealed before today but now both have and both are Mercedes F1 based. The first of these we've already covered of 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance but the other is basically a smaller version of the same set. In particular, this is 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Pull-Back, retailing for a much lower price of $26.99 for a total of 240 pieces. We've already seen a brand new Pullback vehicle from the LEGO Technic theme in 2024 of 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car. This too retailed for $26.99 but of course 42165 is based on Mercedes' Formula 1 Car from the 2023 season. The brick-built car is basically a smaller version of 42171 with the black livery and smaller hints of teal along the side, front wing and rear wing. 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Pull-Back is a much more affordable version too retailing for that $26.99 price point. However, the main difference is the inclusion of the pullback motor which still makes this set fairly costly. 42165 also doesn't include slick tyres which have been included in all the other LEGO Formula 1 sets which are releasing together on 1st March 2024. 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Pull-Back Set Name - Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Pull-Back Set Number - 42165 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 240 Price - $26.99 Release Date - 1st March 2024
