LEGO Disney 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage Rumoured to be Revealed on 15th February 2024

A couple of survey sets have now been officially revealed, and the next is just days away. The previously rumoured 43242 Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Cottage is reportedly being officially presented on Thursday the 15th of March 2024 according to YouTuber Brick Clicker. The 18+ LEGO Disney set will then become available in stores and online just a few weeks later starting on 1st March 2024.

The latest LEGO Disney set aimed at adults and an older audience has created plenty of hype since its original leak a year ago. The set has come a long way in that time though, decreasing slightly in size but definitely increasing in quality and detail. It will still include a large amount of pieces at 2,228 pieces at a reasonable retail price of $219.99 for the brick-built cottage.

Snow White's Cottage is a beautifully built model, capturing the iconic cottage we saw on our screens for the first time many years ago. The LEGO version uses a tan colour scheme for the exterior of the build with a dark or curry yellow roof to replicate the straw-like effect of the cosy cottage. Different shades of brown can be seen around the windows, doors and other areas of the exterior to replicate wood. A couple of the brown tiles around the windows even include wooden prints with hearts in the middle.

Plenty of scenery surrounds the front of the Cottage with a small dirt track leading to the front door and the rest being surrounded by green plates to signify grass. A couple of brick-built trees can also be seen here along with plenty of specialised leaf and vegetation pieces. There’s even a couple hanging above the door to give the cottage that forest look, replicating its animated version.

Moving on inside, an open-back structure allows the 18+ LEGO Disney set to be easily accessible and playable inside and out. Reportedly there’s also a hinge connection to allow the Cottage to be moved, played and displayed however you may wish. The interior carries on the colour scheme seen on the exterior but expands across two relatively open and accessible floors.

Features inside include a fireplace with an operational light brick, a large table with all the wonderful Minifigures included in 43242 to sit around, a few beds for the dwarfs to sleep in, a chest amongst other storage spaces and a spider exploring the darkest areas of the cottage. Plenty more details and fun builds are included inside of the cottage but until we get official images on Thursday the 15th of February 2024, we don’t know exactly what these are.

The beautifully built cottage isn’t the only build of the $230 set, however. A small well covered with plants and of course the bed in which Snow White can lay in whilst having her seven dwarfs around her. These are on separate plates to the cottage allowing them to again be displayed and played with in any way you wish. Even though 43242 is a LEGO 18+ set, the designers have still included plenty of play features and easter eggs to reference one of Disney’s most iconic films.

But the set is not done there. For $230 and 2,228 pieces, a total of 10 Minifigures are included. These of course include Snow White along with each of the seven Dwarfs, but we also get the Evil Queen and Prince Florian. Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Dopey are all exclusive with brand new facial expressions and a brand new beard element is also included on one of the Dwarfs.
