  • 4 LEGO Fortnite Sets Rumoured For October 2024 | 77070, 77071, 77073 + 77074

LEGO and Fortnite officially began their collaboration back in December 2023 with the in-game LEGO Fortnite event. But around 10 months later we'll finally be getting official brick-built LEGO sets based on one of the best-selling games of all time. In fact, the physical collaboration between Epic Games and LEGO will be a fully-fledged theme consisting of four brand new sets once they launch on the 1st of October 2024. Different characters and certain smaller builds have already appeared in LEGO form in the game but the four rumoured sets and what they include will most likely remain a mystery until the official release in possibly a few weeks time. The set numbers of the four sets are 77070, 77071, 77073 and 77074 with the latter of these being the most expensive at $119.99. 77073 will also be our first 18+ LEGO Fortnite set as it's another brick-built character to add to the growing collection across a range of LEGO themes. 77070 Burger Battleground The cheapest set of the wave will be the Burger Battleground. For $14.99, we expect a simple playset of the burger restaurant with a couple of burgers and other accessories also being included. One to two Minifigures are also expected to be included for a reasonably priced licensed model in 2024. Set Name - Burger Battleground Set Number - 77070 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 193 Price - $14.99 / €14.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 77071 Loot Llama Our first of two brick-built characters releasing in this first wave of Lego Fortnite sets is 77071 Loot Llama. We've already seen pictures and renders of a brick-built LEGO Loot Lama before but this will be much bigger than those first glimpses. The lama will include a total of 691 pieces for a decent retail price of $39.99. As it's a 12+ build, we expect more play than detail but it will still be very displayable with plenty of bright colours for the crazy llama. Set Name - Loot Llama Set Number - 77071 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 691 Price -  $39.99 / €39.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 77073 Peely Bone Immediately after our brick-built Loot Llama, we have a brick-built version of Peely Bone. This is the single 18+ set of the wave which captures one of the most iconic characters in brick-built form. For $99.99 and 1,414 pieces we expect it to be similar to the larger brick-built Minifigures we've seen in the past. It'll be interesting to see how the LEGO designers create this half-skeleton half-banana character. Set Name - Peely Bone Set Number - 77073 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,414 Price -  $99.99 / €99.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 77074 Battle Bus Save best until last as that's right the most iconic element from the Fortnite franchise will be coming to brick built LEGO form for $119.99 with 954 pieces included. The Battle Bus will be complete with the main blue bus and interior along with the balloon keeping it afloat in the air. Current rumours suggest four Minifigures are included but a couple more are also likely to be available in the final version of the set. The Minifigures rumoured so far are Cuddle Team Leader, Meowsicles, Adventure Peely and Bright Bomber. Set Name - Battle Bus Set Number - 77074 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 954 Price -  $119.99 / €119.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 All four of these brand-new LEGO Fortnite sets launch on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? What is your favourite and least favourite set of the wave? What other LEGO Fortnite sets are you hoping for in 2025 and beyond? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • July 2024 LEGO Promotional/GWP Set News: Everything We Know

July is here and that already means we're halfway through 2024 and what a year it has been so far in the brick-building LEGO community. Sadly, the 1st of July 2024 isn't a big release date with only a handful of brand new models hitting shelves on this date such as 10338 Bumblebee. And even more unfortunate news is that July also looks pretty bleak regarding new promotions. Two promotions are already currently available and will continue to be available, whilst stocks last, until the end of the week. Current rumours then suggest our third Houses of the World GWP will become available only a couple of days later but is currently the third and final promotional item rumoured for the seventh month of 2024. Hopefully, more promos end up releasing than just three across July's 31 days but here's what we know so far for July 2024's selection. 40689 Firework Celebrations This year's celebration GWP is 40689 Firework Celebrations which is already available and will remain that way until the 7th of July 2024. The 7+ model which contains 184 pieces and two Minifigures looks to coincide with tomorrow's July the 4th celebrations in America. 40689 is available with any purchases over $80 but, like with all GWPs, only whilst stock lasts so you may have to be quick! As the name suggests, 40689 includes a small brick-built scene/display of launching fireworks. One firework is being prepared for launch whilst the others already have, displaying some beautiful brick-built effects to replicate real-life firework displays. Behind these fireworks is a dark blue wall with stickers of colourful fireworks along with some stars shining in the night sky. Set Name - Firework Celebrations Set Number - 40689 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 184 Price - GWP over $80 Release Date - 28th June - 7th July 2024 30678 Minions' Jetboard July marks the release of the fourth Despicable Me film with LEGO sets based on the film being available since May. But, LEGO is now also launching the LEGO Despicable Me 4 polybag of 30678 Minions' Jetboard as a Gift With Purchase. It will be available until the 7th of July 2024 with purchases of LEGO Minecraft, Super Mario, Sonic, Animal Crossing and, of course, Despicable Me 4, over $40. Set Name - Minions' Jetboard Set Number - 30678 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 48 Price - GWP over $40 Release Date - 3rd - 7th July 2024 40692 Sweet Shop The third LEGO Houses of the World set for 2024 is 40692 Sweet Shop and like the other two released in the first half of the year, 40692 will be available with any purchases over $200. This will start from the 9th of July 2024 and, even though it's not confirmed, will most likely last around a week or 10 days. The exterior of the microscale Sweet Shop feels very Willy Wonka-like with a lot of bright colours such as blue, yellow and pink. A giant brick-built sweet is right at the top of the store along with a stickered 'Candy Shop' sign above the shop's microscale door. Like the other shops and houses before it, it's spread across two floors which can easily be removed. Inside, the Sweet shop itself is spread across two floors with plenty of interesting and sugary treats available for our microscale customers. There's the counter along with a couple of stickered displays, liquorice allsorts, lollipops, ice cream and cupcakes. A pinball machine and a cake are also included as one of the many display pieces in the Sweet Shop. Set Name - Sweet Shop Set Number - 40692 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - TBC Price - GWP over $200 Release Date - 9th July 2024 So that concludes what we know so far about the promotional and gift-with-purchase sets for April 2024 but what do you think? How many of these GWPs will you be trying to pick up? Which one are you most excited for? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Technic 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Officially Revealed | August 2024

The LEGO Technic theme releases an abundance of vehicles every single year but not many of them are tailored to be either on or underwater. Luckily, along with a range of supercars, trucks and another space-themed vehicle, a brand new water-themed vehicle is also releasing on the 1st of August 2024. In particular, this is 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht which includes a total of 962 pieces for a heavy retail price of $119.99. The release of 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht coincides with the 37th America's Cup that takes place in just over a months time. New Zealand's yacht for this year is the AC75 which has been beautifully translated into brick-built LEGO form for a high price of $120. The water-based model measures 68 cm high, 56 cm long and 33 cm wide with two large printed sails being the main reasons for this tall 18+ model. The main build of the yacht is mainly black and red but plenty of stickers are included to create some light blue lines and to showcase the sponsors. One of the reasons for the high price, along with the two printed sails, is the pneumatic feature. By turning the crank on the display stand, this feature allows the foil arms on both sides of the racing yacht to be raised. This provides plenty of stability and speed to the brick-built yacht. 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Set Name - Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht Set Number - 42174 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 962 Price - $119.99 / €119.99 / £104.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Marvel 76295 The Avengers Helicarrier Officially Revealed | August 2024

Many of the LEGO Marvel theme's Summer 2024 range of sets were revealed a couple of months ago but a brand new 18+ set for the theme has remained hidden until now. In particular, this 18+ model, exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home is a brand new midiscale set of 76295 The Avengers Helicarrier. The LEGO Marvel set releases on the 1st of August 2024 with 509 pieces retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99. The LEGO Star Wars theme saw the reintroduction of midiscale sets in 2023 and has continued to expand with that line of 18+ models in 2024. And now LEGO Marvel seems to be introducing midiscale sets starting with 76295 which sees a midiscale version of the iconic Avengers aircraft known as the Helicarrier. The display model measures 18 cm high, 33 cm long and 22 cm wide. Being midiscale, the Helicarrier includes plenty of very, very small details which are created with only a couple of pieces or a single sticker/print. • LEGO Star Wars 75398 C-3PO Officially Revealed | August 2024

The LEGO Star Wars theme is ready for another action-packed wave of sets with models being revealed left, right and center for the theme. A part of this brand new August 2024 wave of LEGO Star Wars is a brand new D2C of 75398 C-3PO. Our first ever brick-built version of the fan favourite droid C-3PO will be released on the 1st of August 2024 for $139.99 / €139.99 / £124.99 with a total of 1,138 pieces included. C-3PO has been a common character in the Star Wars franchise and that has carried over into LEGO form too so it's a surprise that it's taken LEGO so long to create a brick-built version of the droid. We've already seen three buildable R2-D2's release, including this year's 75379 R2-D2, and Chewbacca with 2023s 75371 Chewbacca. 2024's 75398 C-3PO is officially built on the same scale as 75379 R2-D2 but will make a great display model alongside the brick-built version of Chewy too and all the other R2-D2s. 75398 C-3PO measures over 38 cm tall with a fair amount of larger moulds and pieces used to recreate this LEGO version of C-3PO. Obviously, a lot of shiny gold elements are included to create the brick-built protocol droid which also comes with his silver leg. Sadly, the gold pieces are pearl gold and not metallic gold with a couple of stickers also being included to show the droid's cables in the stomach area. However, C-3PO is moveable with the head being fully rotatable and the arms can be raised to the droid's shoulder points. Being an 18+ model, a small display stand of the Tatooine desert along with an information plaque for the droid is also included. This black information plaque/display stand also has room to display the single Minifigure included in 75398 of C-3PO himself. However, it is sadly the same C-3PO minifigure that’s currently exclusive to 75341 Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder, complete with that dual-moulded silver leg. 75398 C-3PO Set Name - C-3PO Set Number - 75398 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,138 Price - $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75398 C-3PO releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75398 in exactly a months time? What other buildable droids or characters would you like to see in 2025 and beyond? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

The reveals for LEGO Star Wars in 2024 just keep on coming with 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit now being officially revealed. This is another model a part of the licensed themes action-packed August 2024 wave which includes a total of nine different sets.75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit is one of the few sets of the wave to be under $100 retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 with a total of 558 pieces. The LEGO Star Wars theme is used to high prices but this is extremely high when you consider the amount of pieces included. But this is mainly because 75396 includes a total of six Minifigures based on the Return of the Jedi. These are Luke Skywalker with a new hairpiece, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian and Boba Fett along with an exclusive 25th Anniversary Minifigure of Nien Nunb. The two main builds of the set are obviously the Desert Skiff and the Sarlacc Pit. The desert skiff features translucent elements for a hover effect and has a couple of fun play features such as a push-out plank for Luke Skywalker to walk and the foldout railing where Han Solo nearly fell off. The pit has levers to move the Sarlacc’s tentacles, and the Sarlacc has space in its mouth for a single LEGO Minifigure. 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit Set Name - Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit Set Number - 75396 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 558 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Star Wars 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Officially Revealed | August 2024

Next month, it'll have been a year since the release of the Ahsoka Disney+ series and with that in mind, LEGO are finally producing spoiler-filled sets based on the show. The first of these has been officially revealed for a 1st of August 2024 release of 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea. The Ahsoka branded set based on the final episode of the first season will retail for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 and includes a total of 382 pieces. 75385 is basically an ultimate LEGO Star Wars Battle Pack with the emphasis very much being on the Minifigure selection rather than the main build. For $55, a total of five exclusive Minifigures are included of Ahsoka Tano, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Morgan Elsbeth, Ezra Bridger and a Night Trooper. Ahsoka comes in her white outfit whilst Thrawn appears in LEGO Minifigure form for the first time outside of the Rebels TV show and comes in a lighter shade of blue. As we said earlier, the emphasis of the set is on its incredible Minifigure lineup but we still have an obvious build for the duel. The 382 pieces create a diorama of the planet Peridea with those four black pillars being included with stickers for the gold outline. The grey platform has three round plates embedded into its floor which can be moved using gears on the side of the brick-built model to recreate the battle. 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Set Name - Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea Set Number - 75385 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 382 Price - $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75385 in exactly a months time? Did you enjoy the Ahsoka Disney+ series as much as we did (we loved it!)? And what other sets would you like to see from the show? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

The 18+ set was previously scheduled to release in October 2023 or April 2024 but has continuously been pushed back and will now release on the 20th of September 2024. • LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition Rumoured For September 2024

2024 has already seen the release of one LEGO Harry Potter D2C of 76429 Talking Sorting Hat but one more, even bigger 18+ model is releasing in a few months time. In particular, this is the main D2C of 2024 of 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition. It will retail for a total of $259.99 with 2,405 pieces making it the biggest and most detailed brick built of the Burrow house to date. The last LEGO version of the Weasley's house released in 2020 of 75980 Attack on the Burrow but avid LEGO fans will know we've been waiting for a D2C version of the house since February 2023. This is because an 18+ collectors style Burrow appeared in the infamous survey leak along with Marchs Talking Sorting Hat. Both sets clearly went down well as we're expecting 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition to release on the 1st of September 2024. This brand new The Burrow is much bigger and more detailed than any of the previous versions. The house will be fully enclosed but will be built across many floors with different colourful and random rooms included on each floor. Some exciting and interesting building techniques are used, particularly to create the house in a sliding motion. The Burrow also includes plenty of hinge connections to open up the house and access the hidden interior details. Being an 18+ set, no stickers are luckily included and instead replaced by exclusive prints. Quidditch team logos, posters and bedding are some of the main cool Harry Potter prints in this September 2024 LEGO set. A small garden with pigs is also attached to the brick-built Burrow along with a cool play feature where the dishes can magically wash themselves. The biggest Burrow yet isn't complete without a stellar Minifigure lineup. • First Leaked Images of LEGO Star Wars 75398 C-3PO | August 2024

The LEGO Star Wars theme is almost ready for another action-packed wave of sets with a few models already being revealed this morning and in previous days. A part of this brand new August 2024 wave of LEGO Star Wars is a brand new D2C of 75398 C-3PO. Our first ever brick-built version of the fan favourite droid C-3PO will be released on the 1st of August 2024 for $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 with a total of 1,138 pieces included. C-3PO has been a common character in the Star Wars franchise and that has carried over into LEGO form too so it's a surprise that it's taken LEGO so long to create a brick-built version of the droid. We've already seen three buildable R2-D2's release, including this year's 75379 R2-D2, and Chewbacca with 2023s 75371 Chewbacca so it is nice to also get C-3PO to celebrate 25 years of the LEGO Star Wars theme. Compared to the two buildable characters mentioned, 75398 Buildable C-3PO is in scale with May's R2-D2 which can also be reflected in a much smaller piece count compared to the 18+ Chewy that was released in September last year. A fair amount of larger moulds and pieces and of course some exclusive prints are included in this LEGO version of C-3PO. Obviously, a lot of shiny gold elements are included to create the brick-built protocol droid which also comes with a silver leg. Will you be purchasing 75398 in just over a months time? What other buildable droids or characters would you like to see in 2025 and beyond?
