After a fairly busy 2022 for the LEGO Classic theme, the non-licensed theme is set to start off 2023 in a similar way. This is because a new rumour has revealed that just one set will be coming on 1st January of 2023 of 11031 Creative Fun with Monkeys. Another four sets will then follow with a Spring 2023 release of 1st March 2023. These sets coming in March include more expensive ones like 11030 Large Creative Building Set which will retail for $59.99. However, 11031 is a lot cheaper at just $9.99 suggesting only a few different builds will be included. These will obviously be monkey based but it's unlikely that the LEGO Classic set will include the actual money piece as the theme usually experiments with just brick-built animals and characters. Set Information Set Name - Creative Fun with Monkeys Set Number - 11031 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

Even though it should only be a couple of days until we see official images, another LEGO City set has been rumoured for January 2023. The set in question is 60394 which was previously rumoured to be apart of the Great Vehciles subtheme. However, we now know its official set name of ATV & Otter Habitat indicating the Otter piece from 2020 will be returning. This piece appeared in a LEGO Harry Potter set back in 2020 but was translucent blue colour so its likely we'll see some exclusive otters in 60394. Of course, they'll also be a small build for the ATV that's likely to include some space for one Minifigure and an otter to ride. However not much else is likely to be included in the set as it'll only include 90 pieces and will retail for $9.99. This makes it one of the smallest sets of the wave once it, and many more sets, are finally revealed for a Janaury 1st 2023 release. Set Information Set Name - ATV & Otter Habitat Set Number - 60394 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 90 Price - $9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

The theme might not always get the most sets release each year but the LEGO Jurassic World theme is continuing in 2023. The theme had around 10 sets release in the first half of 2022 to coincide with the release of the third Jurassic World film: Jurassic World Dominion. But in 2023 the theme will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film which was first released in 1993. Currently, five LEGO sets are rumoured to celebrate this occasion bringing back classic characters and dinosaurs into modern LEGO form. The prices of these sets (ranging from $20 to $120) indicate further that a range of different dinosaur moulds should be included in this wave. And one of the most exciting sets of the wave has to be the only 18+ set of 76961 Visitor Centre: Attack of the T-Rex. This is one of the most iconic locations from the first film with another T-Rex also included. Only a couple of rooms in the centre are likely to be included but the architect outside of the centre should definitely be one of the main features of the set as it retails for $119.99. 76957 The Velociraptor Escape Set Name - The Velociraptor Escape Set Number - 76957 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023 76958 The Dilophosaurus Ambush Set Name - The Dilophosaurus Ambush Set Number - 76958 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023 76959 The Search for the Triceratops Set Name - The Search for the Triceratops Set Number - 76959 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023 76960 The Discovery of the Brachiosaurus Set Name - The Discovery of the Brachiosaurus Set Number - 76960 Ages - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023 76961 Visitor Centre: Attack of the T-Rex Set Name - Visitor Centre: Attack of the T-Rex Set Number - 76961 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $119.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023

As we reported a few weeks ago, the LEGO Icons theme will be expanding further in 2023 including the Botanical Collection subtheme. LEGO Botanical Collection sets have been very popular with adult fans and at least two more of 10313 and 10314 will be coming on 1st February 2023. Thanks to Promobricks.de we have more information about the cheaper of the two of 10314 Dried Flower Decoration. In this set, there's a rather flat table arrangement with generally autumn colours for the plants of brown, orange, beige and green. These colours are all used to represent a range of Dried Flowers allowing a lot of recolours in this set. For example, a small 2x2x4 Christmas Tree is included in olive green. Set Information Set Name - Dried Flower Decoration Set Number - 10314 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 812 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st February 2023

New rumours have emerged about one of the biggest celebrations in 2023 as Disney turns 100 years old. LEGO are unsurprisingly joining in with these celebrations including our first-ever set based on Peter Pan. We've already had a Peter Pan Minifigure in the past but 43220 will include a Wendy Minifigure for the first time. Peter Pan & Wendy's Storybook Adventures is only likely to include these Minifigures but both could be exclusive if we're lucky. The set is also likely to be not very large as it only includes 111 pieces retailing for $19.99. Previous sets have been released with 'Storybook Adventures' in their titles indicating that it could similar to the Disness Princess line's subtheme of books and doors. In these sets, a large piece for the book is included along with mini minidolls, a couple of animals and the main build itself. The main build is directly in the middle of the book allowing play on either side with many accessories also included. We're hoping that the set's a bit more exciting than this but luckily it'll only be a couple of months until we get official pictures as the set releases on 1st March 2023. Set Information Set Name - Peter Pan & Wendy's Storybook Adventures Set Number - 43220 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 111 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023

New rumours have emerged about one of the biggest celebrations in 2023 as Disney turns 100 years old. LEGO are unsurprisingly joining in with these celebrations including our first ever set based on the film UP. This will be one of the most iconic houses in the film industry of Carls' House and it'll retail for $54.99. Not much more information is known about the set apart from the rumoured piece count of 598 pieces. This feels a little low to cover a whole house so its likely that 43217 isn't all of Carls' House but should include the main parts. These include the front door and windows, the porch, the ballons and the sitting room with the iconic chairs that Carl and his Wife Ellie used to sit on. It is heavily believed that the House will be Minifigure scale so it'll likely include Carl, Russel, Dug and a brick built Kevin. However, the price and piece count could also potentially indicate a microscale set even though many belive this is an unlikely possibility. Either way we'll find out in a few months when the set releases on 1st April 2023. Set Information Set Name - Carl's House From UP Set Number - 43217 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 598 Price - $54.99 Release Date - 1st April 2023 Featured image: LEGO Ideas 'Carl's House' by Yang Yang

With a brand new year coming very soon so is a brand new Minifigure series of 71037 Series 24 as its been officially revealed by LEGO today. The 24th unlicensed CMF series will once again retail for $4.99 and will luckily still remain in the plastic packaging the Minifigures are usually in. However, it's likely that from September 2023 that we'll see the cardboard box packaging which has started to appear in other collectable LEGO series. As has become the norm over the past few Minifigures series, a total of 12 different Minifigures are available to collect. 3 of these have already been leaked but we now know have further pictures and information about each of these Minifigures and other features. One of these other features includes the packaging which will be pink for the first time but we'll cover this and the checklist more later in the post... List of Minifigures Female Potter - Surprisingly there's not been many Minifigures that have been doing pottery before but in Series 24 we will get a female potter with a potter's wheel, mug and bowl included. Newsboy - Young boy Minifigure with a brown bag, newspaper and slingshot. He also includes mid legs and a flat cap. T-Rex Costume - A man in a brown T-Rex costume with a new tailpiece. Orc - The Orc is a fictional humanoid monster which is very similar to a goblin. The LEGO version is a light green with different prints on his torso and legs. He also comes with a brand new piece beneath his head to make a more goblin-like face. His accessories are an exclusive shield, a sword and a cape. Carrot Costume - Our second costume of the series is a man in a carrot costume. He comes with a "Farmers Market" sign and orange hair which matches the orange of the large carrot piece. Zoo Keeper - Comes with a new version of Dustin's hair from Stranger Things along with a cute koala piece and some food for the koala. Space Warrior - Quite a cool and colourful Minifigure, the space warrior comes with a green helmet which matches his green armoured torso. He also has some hints of white and pink. His accessory is a space gun which uses an interesting build of two pink rollerskates. Black Falcon Archer - A blast from the past here with a Black Falcon Archer that comes with red hair, a cape, a bow and a black falcon Classic Astronaut - Another old LEGO theme being referenced here is LEGO Classic space with an astronaut in brown with a gauge and a baby astronaut in blue. Female Referee - Dressed in bright yellow with black shorts. Includes the usual football pieces and a red and yellow card as accessories. French Lady - We've had a French Man in a previous series and now we've got a French Lady who comes with a wide skirt that stretches over 4 studs. She also comes with a powdered face, a wig and a small white dog. Girl on Wooden Rocking Horse - Nothing much here as a normal young girl with glasses and an exclusive torso is included along with the brand new rocking horse piece. The Packaging & Checklist Series 24s packaging is another great thing about this series which is near on perfection. As already mentioned, the packaging is pink for the first time with a couple of darker and lighter shades used to make the question mark pattern in the background. This all seems to look a little different with more of a cartoon-style look to it. The packaging continues this colour scheme and pattern for the question marks. Once again four Minifigures are on each row with three rows making the total of 12 Minifigures included in the series. The Minifigures are unlikely to be in a particular order with the checklist still allowing fans the possibility to mark off the Minifigures they have or haven't collected already. General Series Information Set Name - Series 24 Set Number - 71037 Ages - 5+ Piece Count - 8 pieces with 1 Minifigure per blind bag Price - $4.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

As we reported a few weeks ago, the LEGO Icons theme will be expanding further in 2023 including the Botanical Collection subtheme. LEGO Botanical Collection sets have been very popular with adult fans and at least two more of 10313 and 10314 will be coming on 1st February 2023. Thanks to Promobricks.de we have more information about the more expensive of the two of 10313 Wild Flower Bouquet. In this set, they'll be a colourful display of Wild Flowers including corn poppies, hawkweed, snapdragon, buttercup, viper's bugloss and forget-me-nots. There are also a couple of smaller plants included along with the whole set being framed by some shrubs, which gives the bouquet some filler. The set overall is very similar to one of the first-ever LEGO Botanical Collection set of 10280 Flower Bouquet. It even includes different-sized stems to place all the flowers in different positions in a vase. However, no LEGO vase is actually included in the set and will instead will have to be made using external pieces. Set Information Set Name - Wild Flower Bouquet Set Number - 10313 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 939 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st February 2023

Unsurprisingly, the LEGO City theme is getting another massive expansion this year with at least two waves in the first half of 2023. Another wave is likely to follow these two waves in the summer but we currently have no information about June 2023 or August 2023. The first wave of 2023 for LEGO City consists of the usual selection of vehicles, police, fire and more including the most interesting of 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck. Even though this is another vehicle, hopefully, we'll get some interesting gaming setup builds and mini arcades. Another interesting set has to be 60369 Mobile Police Dog Training where we're likely to get a cute selection of police dogs. Then in March 2023, they'll be another expansion of the Stuntz subtheme. This includes two more stunt bikes (in January however), more Stunt challenges and a massive $90 set. This is 60361 Ultimate Stunt Driver Challenge which is likely to include a couple of ramps along with the main stunt challenge itself. However, like most of the LEGO City Stuntz sets, this is massively overpriced with only 361 pieces included. 30638 Police Bike Training - 36 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 30639 *LEGO City Polybag* - 24 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 30640 *LEGO City Polybag* - 83 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 40582 4x4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue (GWP) - 162 pieces - 10th February 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60356 Bear Stunt Bike ($7.99) - 10 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60357 Stunt Truck & Fire Tire Challenge ($49.99) - 479 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60358 Cyber Stunt Bike ($7.99) - 13 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60359 Stunt Ramp with Dive Challenge ($19.99) - 144 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60360 Circling Tire Challenge ($34.99) - 117 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60361 Ultimate Stunt Driver Challenge ($89.99) - 385 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60369 Mobile Police Dog Training ($19.99) - 197 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60370 Police Station Breakout ($34.99) - 172 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60371 Emergency Vehicle Headquarters ($69.99) - 706 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60372 Police Training Academy ($89.99) - 823 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60373 Fire Rescue Boat ($19.99) - 144 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60374 Fire Brigade Command Vehicle ($54.99) - 502 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60375 Fire Station and Fire Truck ($34.99) - 153 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60382 Animal Rescue Truck ($9.99) - 58 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60383 Electric Sports Car ($9.99) - 95 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60384 Ice Cream Slush Truck ($19.99) - 194 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60385 Wheel Loader ($19.99) - 148 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60386 Garbage Truck ($34.99) - 261 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60387 Off-Road Adventure ($29.99) - 252 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck ($44.99) - 344 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60389 Auto Repair Shop ($49.99) - 507 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60390 Small Tractor ($9.99) - 86 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60392 Police Motorbike Chase ($9.99) - 59 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60393 Fire Truck Pickup ($9.99) - 97 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured ) 60394 *LEGO City Vehicle* ($9.99) - 90 pieces - 1st January 2023 ( Rumoured )

The LEGO Harry Potter theme was one of the most popular themes in the first half of this year and it's expanding further in 2023. Thanks to Promobricks.de we've known for a while about two waves of LEGO Harry Potter sets. The first is the most detailed as six sets will be releasing on 1st March 2023 Of these six sets are four 'gimmick' sets which will be buildable house banners. Each of the four houses will have there own set along with three corresponding Minifigures. Just like the books, each banner should be foldable and will thus offer a small scene inside. However, these will be $5 more than the books due to recent price increases so will retail for $34.99. The surprising sets of the first wave are another Room of Requirement, this time based on the final film, and a brand new Triwizard Cup set. The set, in particular, is 76420 which will be based on the first challenge taking place in the Black Lake. This is only the second time a set based on this scene has appeared in LEGO form. It's build isn't the biggest ever at $44.99 but it does include at least five Minifigures. 30651 *LEGO Harry Potter Polybag* - 55 pieces - 2023 (Rumoured) 76409 Gryffindor House Banner ($34.99) - 285 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 76410 Slytherin House Banner ($34.99) - 349 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 76411 Ravenclaw House Banner ($34.99) - 305 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 76412 Hufflepuff House Banner ($34.99) - 313 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement ($49.99) - 587 pieces - 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured ) 76414 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76415 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76416 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76417 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76418 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76419 *LEGO Harry Potter* - Summer 2023 (Rumoured) 76420 Triwizard Cup: The Black Lake ($44.99) - 349 pieces 1st March 2023 ( Rumoured )

With LEGO expanding its range of sets to adults more and more each, it's no surprise that a brand new LEGO Art set is rumoured for 2023. In particular, this set is 31208 The Great Wave Off Kanagawa based on the woodblock print by Katsushika Hokusai. The set was rumoured a few weeks ago but thanks to Promobricks.de we have further information about the January 2023 set. The original woodblock print measures 25 x 37 cm and is one of the most famous Japenese prints ever. The LEGO version, including 1,810 pieces will have similar dimensions to the original but will most likely be a little smaller. The big wave will be made up of a mixture of 1x1 rounded tiles arranged in a mosaic with other various large plates. This will make the set similar to this year's LEGO Art set of 31206 The Rolling Stones and may also come close to the LEGO Ideas set 21333 Vincent Van Gogh - The Starry Night. However, this LEGO Art set will retail for a relatively low price of $99.99 and, as already mentioned, is available from 1st January 2023. Set Information Set Name - The Great Wave Off Kanagawa Set Number - 31208 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,810 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 Featured Image: LEGO Ideas project by LEGOverwatch

2023 is coming thick and fast as we've finally got a full official reveal of one of its many January 2023 waves. In particular, it's the LEGO Super Mario theme that has had all seven sets releasing on 1st January 2023 revealed. These once again continue with the Digfig series but rather than brand new characters there's a brand new maker set of 71418 Creativity Toolbox Maker Set which includes a wide range of LEGO Super Mario pieces. Also included in this wave is the sixth series of the Character packs which, like series 5, are $5.99 with some bigger characters included. The characters that aren't big in the series seem to have more characters like the two cat Goombas which are included in one box. Meanwhile, the rest of the wave introduces the new ice/snow biome and a range of new festive and snowy characters. 71413 Characters Packs - Series 6 Set Name - Characters Packs - Series 6 Set Number - 71413 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 52 Price - $5.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71414 Conkdor's Noggin Bopper Expansion Set Set Name - Conkdor's Noggin Bopper Expansion Set Set Number - 71414 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 130 Price - $14.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71415 Ice Mario Suit & Frozen World Expansion Set Set Name - Ice Mario Suit & Frozen World Expansion Set Set Number - 71415 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 105 Price - $24.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71416 Lava Wave Ride Expansion Set Set Name - Lava Wave Ride Expansion Set Set Number - 71416 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 218 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71417 Fliprus Snow Adventure Expansion Set Set Name - Fliprus Snow Adventure Expansion Set Set Number - 71417 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 567 Price - $64.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71418 Creativity Toolbox Maker Set Set Name - Creativity Toolbox Maker Set Set Number - 71418 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 588 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023 71419 Peach's Garden Ballon Ride Expansion Set Set Name - Peach's Garden Ballon Ride Expansion Set Set Number - 71419 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 453 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st January 2023

After new rumours emerged only a few days ago of another GWP for this year's LEGO VIP weekend, this set has now been revealed. LEGO have just today released official images of 40563 Tribute to LEGO House which will be available within just a few days starting from 19th November 2022. However, currently, it'll only be available on the 19th and 20th of November as it'll most likely remain exclusive to the LEGO House after this weekend. The set doesn't include any Minifigures and instead includes a vast selection of five micro builds related to the LEGO House. These include the LEGO House itself, the tree of creativity which can be found inside the LEGO House along with the Brick Molding Machine which is also included in the set, the three LEGO House Dinosaurs and the classic Wooden Duck. The packaging suggests that all of these builds can be built up at the same time and the relatively large piece count of 583 suggests the same idea. However, for those builds and that amount of pieces, a total of $250 will have to be spent on any LEGO set from 19th November 2022. Set Information Set Name - Tribute to LEGO House Set Number - 40563 Ages - 12+ Piece Count - 583 Price - GWP over $250 Release Date - 19th November 2022

After the official reveal of the last LEGO Icons set of the year of 10307 Eiffel Tower, the promotional set to go along with the D2C has also been revealed. This promotional set is 40579 Eiffel's Apartment which, along with 10307, is first available on the weekend of Black Friday 2022. However, currently, it'll only be limited to this weekend (25th November to 28th November) unless it returns next year. The Gift With Purchase, in particular, is a build of Gustave Eiffel's Apartment which is located in the tower itself. The small vignette in the style of the original Apartment has both an indoor and an outdoor section. The outdoor section is very small with it basically just being a balcony with two telescope builds. However, the indoor section has much more detail for a comforting with a red carpet and an interesting yellow wallpaper. There's also a desk with a chair and a lamp, a small cabinet, and a mini model of the Eiffel Tower itself. And as the build is Minifugre scale Eiffle himself is included in the set with grey hair and a tuxedo which is sadly not exclusive. Set Information Set Name - Eiffel's Apartment Set Number - 40579 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 228 Price - GWP of 10307 Eiffel Tower Release Date - 25th November 2022

A brand new LEGO Icons set has been rumoured for a while now but today LEGO has finally officially revealed 10307. The 18+ set is a brand new version of the iconic French monument the Eiffel Tower which has already appeared in LEGO form twice. However, this version is the biggest yet measuring almost 1.5 metres tall (149 cm) and 57 cm wide. This means the designers of 10307 Eiffel Tower are beating last year's LEGO Icons set of 10294 Titanic which was 1.35m long. And not only is this an extremely big build, but it is also very expensive and very detailed. Previously rumoured to be retailing for $629.99, the set has now increased by $50 and so will be retailing for $679.99 with a total of 10,001 pieces making it the second biggest LEGO set of all time. As you can see from the official pictures, the build uses a lot of sophisticated techniques to make the tower very realistic and accurate. The brick-built tower is in dark grey like the other two versions but the beams of the tower are a very striking and unique element of the build with a much more detailed design as already mentioned. The bottom of the tower even includes some greeny showing the vast size of the tower 10307 also sits on a nice frame that provides it more stability for the four legs than a usual base plate. This is probably mainly because of all the pieces used to make the main bulk of the tower. Also similar to last year's 10294 Titanic, its range of Minifigures will be non-existent but a Minifigure scale GWP will be coming around 25th November 2022 of 40579 Eiffel's Apartment. Set Information Set Name - Eiffel Tower Set Number - 10307 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 10,001 Price - $679.99 Release Date - 25th November 2022
