  • LEGO Ideas 21335 Motorised Lighthouse Officially Revealed | September 2022

The LEGO Ideas theme is set to have its biggest and best year yet as another set has been officially revealed for this year. 21335 Motorized Lighthouse is set to become the fifth LEGO Ideas set of the year after a recent leak just a few days ago showed off some of the features of the set. However, today we've got a confirmation of its retail price of $299.99,once its available on 1st September 2022, and its piece count of 2065. 21335 Motorized Lighthouse is, as the name suggests, a lighthouse built on a cliff edge which is on a dark blue baseplate. The majority of the rocky cliff edge covers the baseplate but there's a small space at the front of the Lighthouse where boats can dock. This is where the boat piece but in white and with an exclusive print can go. Compared to the original design, the final one is no longer micro-figure scale and instead is all based on Minifigures allowing two to be placed in this set. These are a Lighthouse Keeper in blue clothing along with a sailor's hat and a sailor whos dressed in green and brown. The Lighthouse Keeper has his own little cottage directly next to the lighthouse with a very small yet detailed interior which includes a glowing fireplace. This area, and the lighthouse itself, has a range of different furniture inside with walls and roofs being able to be removed for easier access. Some treasure can also be found inside the rocky cliff edge. However, the main draw is the motorization of the white and black lighthouse. Here, there's a lighthouse motorized rotating light and custom-designed Fresnel lens elements to give a "truly moving experience". Set Information Set Name - Motorized Lighthouse Set Number - 21335 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2065 Price - $299.99 Release Date - 1st September 2022

After the recent release of 76405 Hogwarts Express - Collectors' Edition, the next wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets have already been rumoured. These include six different sets that will most likely release on 1st March 2023. Of these six sets are four new 'gimmick' sets, each retailing for $34.99 indicating either a brand new idea for the theme or a $5 price increase for the Hogwarts Moments sets. Meanwhile, the other two sets of 76413 and 76420 are not 'gimmick' sets. However, these could also be releasing in the summer of 2023 due to them being normal sets and the first Harry Potter wave of the year usually having just four sets, not six. 76409 *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 1* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 1* Set Number - 76409 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 76410 *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 2* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 2* Set Number - 76410 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 76411 *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 3* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 3* Set Number - 76411 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 76412 *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 4* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter Experience 4* Set Number - 76412 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 76413 *LEGO Harry Potter* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter* Set Number - 76413 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023 76420 *LEGO Harry Potter* Set Name - *LEGO Harry Potter* Set Number - 76420 Ages - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st March 2023

  • All The Rumoured Information on LEGO Ideas 21335 Motorized Lighthouse | September 2022

The LEGO Ideas theme is set to have its biggest and best year yet as another set has been rumoured for this year and already leaked. 21335 Motorized Lighthouse is set to become the fifth LEGO Ideas set of the year after Brick Clicker on YouTube shared pictures of the sets back box design. However, the set is still yet to be officially revealed by LEGO as this is likely to take place next week before the sets release date of 1st September 2022. 21335 Motorized Lighthouse is, as the name suggests, a lighthouse built on a cliff edge which is on a dark blue baseplate. Majority of the rocky cliff edge covers the baseplate but there's a small space at the front of the Lighthouse where boats can dock. This is where the boat pice but in white and with an exclusive print can go. Compared to the original design, the final one is no longer microfigure scale and instead is all based on Minifigures allowing two to be placed in this set. These are a Lighthouse Keeper in blue clothing along with a sailors hat and a fisherwoman whos dressed in green and brown. These Minifigures are easily able to get inside of the little cottage and inside of the lighthouse itself as both have an interior. These areas both have a range of different furniture inside with walls and roofs being able to be removed for easier access. Some treasure can also be found inside the rocky cliff edge. However, the main draw is the motorization of the lighouse which will most likely be the light brick being moveable to represent an actual lighthouse helping guide ships out to sea. • LEGO DC 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn Officially Revealed | September 2022

LEGO DC has finally made an appearance in 2022 as a brand new set for the theme has been officially revealed by online retailer ottosimon.nl . 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn is the first LEGO DC set of 2022 and sadly is another 4+ set with just 43 pieces. This means however it does have a small retail price of $14.99 with two Minifigures included in this price once the set is available from 1st September 2022. The two Minifigures are unsurprisingly Batman and Harley Quinn. Batman is based on his 2012 black suit with it using the one-holed cape. Meanwhile, Harley Quinn uses the same head, torso and legs from her 2020 version but with a recolour of her hair from the LEGO Batman movie. The build is very similar to 76189 Captain America and Hydra Face-Off but instead with a black Batman motorcycle included. This uses the familiar 4+ motorcycle piece but with the batman logo in yellow on a 2x2 round tile on the sides and a printed slope of the batman logo at the front. Harley Quinn also comes with a lime green skateboard and a blue and red hammer build. • LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express D2C Rumoured For September 2022

After the recent reveal of the LEGO Harry Potter Summer 2022 wave which includes seven sets, the next LEGO Harry Potter set for this year has now also been rumoured. In particular, it's the next LEGO Harry Potter D2C of 76405 which is set to be the biggest LEGO Harry Potter set ever retailing for $469.99. Thanks to lego_fulcrum on Instagram, we now know exactly what this huge set will be and it's not what we first thought... The Instagram user has stated that 76405 will be a D2C version of the iconic red Hogwarts Express. The train was most recently in LEGO form in 2018 but this version will most likely be much bigger with more details and more passenger carriages. A section of the train station will also be included so we may see both platform nine and three quarters and an ordinary muggle station in King's Cross. However, with this rumour, it does mean that an expansion to 75978 Diagon Alley of Gringotts is almost confirmed to not be coming this year. The price point seemed to fit perfectly with the Wizarding Bank but sadly we'll have to wait at least another year for Gringotts to return in LEGO Harry Potter form Set Information Set Name - Hogwarts Express D2C Set Number - 76405 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $469.99 Release Date - 1st August/September 2022

  • All The Rumoured Information on LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express D2C | September 2022

The recent rumours have turned out to be true thanks to Promobricks.de as the next LEGO Harry Potter D2C will be a collectors edition of the Hogwarts Express. 74205 Hogwarts Express will be available from 1st September 2022 with 5129 pieces retailing for $499.99. This makes it the most expensive LEGO Harry Potter set yet and the third biggest in terms of piece count. The set itself obviously consists of the beautiful red Hogwarts Express, a built track section, and platform 9 3/4. The built track is similar to the track from 10277 Crocodile Locomotive but is built with a base of black bricks. This track section is between 90 and 100 cm long with the platform right next to it about eight studs high to allow passengers to board the train. On the platform is a full arch and two half arches to the right and left in the typical architecture of Kings Cross Station. On the central arch is a tile with the quote from Albus Severus Potter: "Dad, what if I am put in Slytherin?". A small data plate with the most important information about the train can then be attached to the base of the platform. The Hogwarts Express itself is just a few studs shorter than the platform The train consists of the well known red steam engine with a coal car and only one passenger car. This has a total of four red train doors and three compartments which shows various scenes from all eight films. One compartment is the iconic scene where the trio first met in the film. Another quote is attached to a tile from Hermione: "Has anyone seen a toad"?. In the second compartment is the dementor attack from the third film with a matching quote from Ron: "I think...someone's coming aboard!". Meanwhile, the third compartment will be based on the sixth film. However, the set is finished there as a whopping 20 Minifigures are included. These include Draco Malfoy in his black suit from Half-Blood Prince, Luna Lovegood who finds Harry stunned, Harry (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban, Half-Blood Prince), Ron (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban), Hermione (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban), Remus Lupine, a dementor, the trolley witch, a conductor, a Ravenclaw student and a Hufflepuff Student. Meanwhile, the following five Minifigures will most likely remain exclusive to the set for some time: An adult Harry Potter with beard stubble, an adult Ginny and their children James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna. No Power Up functions are included but with the Hogwarts Express being so big these can be easily added if needed. Set Information Set Name - Hogwarts Express D2C Set Number - 76405 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 5129 Price - $499.99 Release Date - 1st September 2022

  • LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express - Collectors' Edition Officially Revealed | August 2022

It's been rumoured for quite a while but the next LEGO Harry Potter D2C has been officially revealed after the first leak earlier today. 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors' Edition will be available from 31st August 2022 with 5129 pieces retailing for $499.99. This makes it the most expensive LEGO Harry Potter set yet and the third biggest based on piece count. Along with the price and piece count are three light bricks, a moveable train and 20 Minifigures. The set itself obviously consists of the beautiful red Hogwarts Express, a built track section, and platform 9 3/4. The built track is similar to the track from 10277 Crocodile Locomotive but is built with a base of black bricks. This track section is over a metre long (118cm to be precise) with the platform right next to it about eight studs high to allow passengers to board the train. On the platform is a full arch and two half arches to the right and left in the typical architecture of Kings Cross Station. On the central arch is a tile with the quote from Albus Severus Potter: "Dad, what if I am put in Slytherin?". A small data plate with the most important information about the train can then be attached to the base of the station and there's also an 8x16 printed tile featuring a ticket to Hogwarts. The Hogwarts Express itself is just a few studs shorter than the platform The train consists of the well-known red steam engine with a coal car and only one passenger car. This has a total of four red train doors and three compartments which shows various scenes from all eight films. Within each compartment is a light brick to better show off each magical scene. One compartment is the iconic scene where the trio first met in the film. Another quote is attached to a tile from Hermione: "Has anyone seen a toad?". In the second compartment is the dementor attack from the third film with a matching quote from Ron: "I think...someone's coming aboard!". Meanwhile, the third compartment is based on the sixth film where Luna comes to save Harry after his confrontation with Draco Malfoy. The quote this time is from Luna: "Wreckspurts! Your head is full of them." Of course, this compartment, like the other two compartments, can have its quote removed to make it more playable and you can even create your own scenes from the film. However, the set is finished there as a whopping 20 Minifigures are included. These include Draco Malfoy in his black suit from Half-Blood Prince, Luna Lovegood, Harry (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban, Half-Blood Prince), Ron (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban), Hermione (Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban), Remus Lupin, a dementor, the trolley lady, a conductor, a Ravenclaw student and a Hufflepuff Student. The train already has some functions anyway as by turning the lever you'll replicate the motion of a steam train. Set Information Set Name - Hogwarts Express Collectors' Edition Set Number - 76405 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 5129 Price - $499.99 Release Date - 31st August 2022

  • LEGO Icons 10308 Winter Village 2022 Set Rumoured For October 2022

After the reveals of the first LEGO Christmas sets of 2022, we now have more rumours about this year's LEGO Winter Village set. 10308 still has no set name with LEGO being tight-lipped on what this year's big Christmas set could be based on. However, this is very similar to the first rumours about last year's Winter Village set where little information was known about the set apart from its set number and price. And it turns out that last year's Winter Village set of 10293 Santa's Visit had the exact same price as this year's rumoured one of $99.99. Even though this could change with the recent price increases, it means it's likely 10308 will have a piece count around 1400. This year's version is now also rumoured to release on 3rd October 2022 but it's likely LEGO VIPs will be able to access it from the 1st October 2022 or even a few days before that. • The LEGO Icons Sets Retirement Schedule (2022-2025)

After the recent reveal of the next LEGO Icons set, 10306 Atari 2600, coming on 1st August 2022, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have more information about LEGO's retirement plan for the LEGO Icons theme with our information going up to 2025 but as the year goes on we'll soon add more sets to the 2025 list and even start the 2026 list of sets. This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and next year, including the rumoured $630 10307 Eiffel Tower, and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Icons sets that were released in 2020 will definitely have retired at the end of 2025.
