As the current third series of the Mandalorian on Disney+ drew to a close, LEGO has officially shown off the third and final LEGO set of the third series of the show. In particular, this LEGO Star Wars set is the previously rumoured and leaked 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor available within less than a week on 1st May 2023. Even though we've already seen the set, the official images give us an even better glimpse... As the name suggests, the 9+ set includes two iconic Star Wars ships of a Mandalorian Fang Fighter and a TIE Interceptor in LEGO form. The Fang Fighter comes in grey with a few black hints mainly on its wings. The TIE Interceptor has similar colours but with more black than grey. Both ships have an openable cockpit with space for one Minifigure along with two spring shooters to add to the exciting chase. Along with these two spaceships, a total of four Minifigures are included in the set which will retail for $99.99 on 1st May 2023. The Minifigures are Din Djarin with a reprinted helmet and dark saber, a Mandalorian Fleet Commander, a TIE pilot and the R2-E6 Imperial astromech droid. Luckily it won't be too long until we can get our hands on the $100 set with 957 pieces as it officially releases next week. Disney and LEGO are teaming up again with a brand new 18+ Disney Castle coming on 1st July 2023. 43222 is a remake of 2016s The Disney Castle but in a much bigger form with a brand new lineup of 12 Minifigures. This comes thanks to Promobricks.de who have given us more information on the 18+ D2C which will be the biggest LEGO Disney set ever with 4,837 pieces and a price tag of $339.99. This is $50 more expensive than 2016s LEGO Disney Castle but with 800 more pieces making it well worth that $400 price tag. Compared to the 2016 version, 2023s Disney 100 version will be a lot more colourful with a lot more hints of gold and blue along with an expanded interior. These will allow the 12 Minifigures to fully enjoy the D2C with many rooms and iconic scenes from the Disney franchise. Currently, four Minifigures are unconfirmed but we do know that Snow White, Prince Florian, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Princess Aurora, Prince Philip, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. We expect two of these to also be Belle and Beast especially as Gaston is in another set. This makes for a great set celebrating a great occasion for Disney. As already mentioned, 43222 will release on 1st July 2023 for $399.99 with official pictures expected around the start of June. Set Information Set Name - The Disney Castle Set Number - 43222 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 4,837 Price - $399.99 Release Date - 1st July 2023

After an action-packed 2022 for the LEGO Ideas theme, 2023 is set to carry on that trend as another three sets have been rumoured for the theme. All of these three will release in the second half of the year making the total amount of LEGO Ideas sets releasing in 2023 at six. Our first set of the year was only revealed last week of 21338 A-Frame Cabin so expect the year to just get better and better from here. But the first of these releasing in the second half of next year is 21341 Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sister Cottage. This is another licensed set but this time it's more of a horror-based set which is fairly rare with LEGO sets nowadays. The set is based on the first Hocus Pocus film which released in 1993 but with the second film having released last year, it's likely interest in this set will be high once it releases on 1st July 2023. Then a fairly recent idea of 21342 LEGO Insects will release on 1st September 2023 with it being the smallest of the three sets. We expect it to retail for $100 but the piece count is confirmed to be 1,111. The colourful collection of insects will most likely i nclude a honey bee, a praying mantis, a butterfly and two beetles all at a reasonable brick-built scale. And finally, 21343 Viking Village will round off the year by bringing back memories of the old LEGO Viking theme. The set is the winner of the rejected Target collaboration which Viking Village won and has created much hype for the sixth LEGO Ideas set of the year. A quick turnaround will take place for this set as it will release on 1st October 2023 with 2,103 pieces 21341 Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sister Cottage Set Name - Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sister Cottage Set Number - 21341 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2,316 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st July 2023 21342 LEGO Insects Set Name - LEGO Insects Set Number - 21342 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,111 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st September 2023 21343 Viking Village Set Name - Viking Village Set Number - 21343 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2,103 Price - TBC Release Date - 1st October 2023

The LEGO Disney 100 sets just keep on coming as thanks to Dylanchow on Instagram we have our first look at a brand new LEGO Disney set. This is set number 43226 which has been rumoured for a while but we now know it will be a collection of brick-built characters from a range of Disney films. The set is entitled 'Disney Duos' as for a price of $44.99 there are four duos of characters included in 43226. These are Cogsworth and Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, Nemo and Squirt from Finding Nemo, Hei Hei and Pua from Moana, and finally Percy and Miku from Pocahontas. All these characters sit on their own stand which uses a lot of the LEGO Super Mario platform pieces. They also come with an exclusive Disney 100 print in between each duo making up more of the 553 pieces included in this set. Set Information Set Name - Disney Duos Set Number - 43226 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 553 Price - $44.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023

The biggest day for Star Wars fans is almost here and LEGO will be celebrating it once again this year with a whole range of brand-new LEGO Star Wars sets. Along with these sets, including more LEGO Star Wars 18+ Diorama sets, they'll be the yearly May 4th LEGO Star Wars set. This will once again be a promotional set releasing on 1st May 2023 and lasting until 7th May 2023 with any LEGO Star Wars purchases over $150. And after a leak the other day, we now have official images of the LEGO Star Wars May 4th Promo which s 40591 Death Star II. As the name suggests, the 289 pieces included in the set are used to make a mini brick-built version of the second Death Star. This is just another 18+ promo so includes a very small black stand for the Death Star to sit on along with a cheap way of getting the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary printed piece. Set Information Set Name - Death Star II Set Number - 40591 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 289 Price - GWP over $150 Release Date - 1st May 2023

And our final LEGO Disney Princess reveal for today is another Little Mermaid set of 43229 Ariel's Treasure Chest. The set itself may be Disney but it feels very similar to the LEGO DOTS theme which is set to retire at the end of the year. Many small pieces are included along with the classic LEGO DOTS bracelet allowing further customizability. A single Minidoll is included or Ariel herself based on the new version in the live-action film. She comes with her usual red hair, an umbrella and the crystal dress piece. All of this and more make up the fairly expensive set at $47.99 but still includes 370 pieces and a couple of interesting pieces. And luckily we won't have to wait long to get this Disney set as it releases on 1st May 2023. Set Information Set Name - Ariel's Treasure Chest Set Number - 43229 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 370 Price - $47.99 Release Date - 1st May 2023

Ariel and her friends will be returning to LEGO form in 2023 as he and many more characters join the Disney 100 celebrations in today's set reveal. However, this time Ariel will be based on her appearance in the new live-action film in both Minifigure form and minidoll form. But in this set of 43213 The Little Mermaid Storybook she'll be appearing in her Minidoll form along with Prince Eric and Ursula. And as the name suggests, it is another Storybook adventure set which has been seen with many Disney princess sets but other films and series like Peter Pan. In 43213 the book can be opened up to basically three sections. The first is Ariel's hideout with Sebastian included along with all her treasures that she's found in the ocean. We then move on to a small section of Eric's castle which uses mainly white and gold pieces. Finally, we have Ursula's liar which is indicated by the purple section of the book. Here there are many different books, potions, the contract and other evil things which can be seen in the film itself. This makes for a fairly good LEGO Disney Storybook set which will retail for the usual price of $19.99 with 134 pieces releasing on 1st May 2023. Set Information Set Name - The Little Mermaid Storybook Set Number - 43213 Ages - 5+ Piece Count - 134 Price - $19.99 Release Date - 1st May 2023

Leaks and rumours have constantly been appearing for the LEGO Disney theme but we now have official pictures of its next set: 43225 The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell. The 18+ D2C is based on the brand new live-action Little Mermaid film which releases on 26th May 2023. And luckily this brick-built LEGO set for fans of both the original and the new Little Mermaid is available from 1st May 2023. 43225 will retail for $159.99 which is $200 less than the last D2C Disney castle of 71040 Disney Castle. This is no surprise due to it being a Disney Princess set and having a much smaller build of a giant white brick-built clamshell. Inside this clamshell, there are main rooms and scenes from the film including Areils hideout, a shipwreck, Ursula's liar, King Triton's throne and much more. This makes for a very colourful and jam-packed 18+ scene which also includes a wide range of Minifigures too. For a $160 set with 1,808 pieces, we did expect a couple more Minifigures but either way we do get a total of five. These are Ariel, King Triton, Karina, Indira and Ursula with Flounders and Sebastian also included in their fish and crab form respectively with many other ordinary fishes also included in the action pack brick-built scene. Set Information Set Name - The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell Set Number - 43225 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,808 Price - $159.99 Release Date - 1st May 2023

The LEGO Videogames sets just keep on coming as not only are we getting LEGO Sonic the Hedgog sets this year, but we're also getting a Pac-Man set. This is the previously rumoured 10323 Pac-Man Arcade Machine which will be a brand new 18+ set releasing under the LEGO Icons theme on 1st June 2023. The set will retail for $269.99 with 2,651 pieces and a fairly substantial build thanks to new information from Brick Clicker. The LEGO Icons set will be very similar to another 18+ videogame set of 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System. Here however it's Pac-Man who can be controlled rather than Mario and the classic yellow 8-bit character goes around the level on the arcade machine just like in real life but in brick-built LEGO form. This means the arcade machine itself will take up the majority of the build but according to Brick Clicker it is well-sized for that $270 price tag. The build doesn't stop there though as even though we have no Minifigures in this 18+ set, we do get some display models. These include brick-built Pac-Man and a selection of colourful ghosts which will likely be displayed on a black stand next to the arcade build. All of this and more will be included in 10323 and its 2,651 pieces with official pictures just a few weeks away as it releases on 1st June 2023. Set Information Set Name - Pac-Man Arcade Machine Set Number - 10323 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2,651 Price - $269.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023 Featured image: LEGO Ideas PAC-MAN VIDEOGAME´S SPRITES WITH DUPLO BRICKS project by Martin-2

The official reveals of LEGO Disney 100 sets just keep on coming as we now have official pictures of 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons. The 6+ Disney set will be another Summer release as it'll retail for $59.99 with 1,022 pieces once it releases on 1st June 2023. The name may not suggest it but this LEGO Disney set is very similar to LEGO Art sets but for the younger audience. The set features 12 8x8 plates, a picture frame and hanger elements, and loads of tiles to build up to 12 icons at once. These cover a range of Disney characters to be brick built including Mickey, Belle, Olaf, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and many more iconic Disney characters. There are also a couple of different Disney-like patterns and a Disney 100 pattern celebrating this big occasion for the franchise. Along with these many brick-built designs, 43221 is also the first ever LEGO Art set to include a Minifigure with this being another variant of Mickey Mouse: Painter Mickey. He includes a new torso and legs along with a paintbrush and a pallet. Overall though, this makes for a great set with a total of 1,022 pieces retailing at a relatively good price for LEGO Art and Disney sets of $59.99 once it releases on 1st June 2023. Set Information Set Name - 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons Set Number - 43221 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 1,022 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st June 2023

After our first reveal this morning, LEGO has now officially revealed the next licensed LEGO theme of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog. The theme will kick off with a total of five sets but only four of them have been officially revealed today of 76990, 76991, 76992 and 76994. All of these sets along with the unrevealed 76993 will release on 1st August 2023 so we still have a couple of months to wait. The sets themselves though include a whole range of new pieces, prints, Minifigures and more. The Sonic Minifigure returns but he comes with new Minifigures of Tails, Amy and Eggman who uses some interesting parts to make him a bigfig. The majority of the sets are based on the games themselves featuring platforms for Sonic to run on with enemies and coins along the way in this brick-built Green Hill Zone. Some of the sets also include a cool launcher along with a clear ball which Sonic or even the likes of Tails and Amy can be placed in. Once deployed, the clear ball can go rolling through the level knocking down enemies and going up ramps. These pieces have likely increased the prices for these sets but they still range from $34.99 to $99.99 which isn't bad for LEGO in 2023. 76990 Sonic's Speed Sphere Challenge Set Name - Sonic's Speed Sphere Challenge Set Number - 76990 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 292 Price - $34.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76991 Tails' Workshop and Tornado Plane Set Name - Tails' Workshop and Tornado Plane Set Number - 76991 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 376 Price - $39.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76992 Amy's Animal Rescue Island Set Name - Amy's Animal Rescue Island Set Number - 76992 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 388 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76994 Sonic's Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge Set Name - Sonic's Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge Set Number - 76994 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 802 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

LEGO and Disney's celebrations for the 100 years of Disney's anniversary continue as a brand new LEGO set has been rumoured for a 1st August 2023 release. This is another 12+ microscale build similar to last year's 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion which was also released in the summer. However, in 2023 we'll be going back to the world of Aladdin with 40613 Mini Palace of Agrabah in this mini brick-built version. The $39.99 set will again be extremely similar to last year's Haunted Mansion in that the main and only build of this set will be the palace itself. This will be on a small black base allowing the desert colours and architecture to be easily seen. A single Minifigure will also be included in this set even though the build will be a completely different size. We've already seen Aladdin Minifigures in LEGO before but this one will hopefully be exclusive... Set Information Set Name - Mini Palace of Agrabah Set Number - 40613 Ages - 12+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $39.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

That's right, the mystery LEGO 'Lemon' Gaming theme is set to be a full on LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme in the summer of 2023. Yesterday rumours had emerged of a brand new theme called LEGO 'Lemon' which at the time only had one set rumoured for it. But thanks to the always reliable Promobricks.de we no know this theme will be a full LEGO them based on our favourite blue hedgehog: Sonic. Our first proper LEGO Sonic set came earlier this year with the LEGO Ideas set of 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone. As the name suggests, this was a short section of the classic Green Hill Zone which include iconic loops and jumps. They were also many rings and a couple of enemies like Dr Eggman. This and much more will return in August 2023 when five sets to kick off the LEGO Sonic theme will release. Thanks to Brick Clicker on YouTube, these will all be Minifigure scale sets making the theme similar and most likely connectable with 21331. All of the sets can be combined making on big Sonic level or Green Hill Zone or something else Sonic related. Each set will also include a launcher build allowing Sonic or other Minifigures to get up to speed in a clear LEGO ball that'll be included. This can be fired around the course making it very playable rather than the Ideas set which was more of a display model. There's also the possibility some of the bigger set make include other interesting features as there is a total of five releasing in 2023 for the theme. 76990 *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Name - *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Number - 76990 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 292 Price - $29.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76991 *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Name - *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Number - 76991 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 367 Price - $39.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76992 *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Name - *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Number - 76992 Ages - 6+ Piece Count - 388 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76993 *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Name - *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Number - 76993 Ages - 7+ Piece Count - 615 Price - $59.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023 76994 *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Name - *LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog* Set Number - 76994 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 802 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

LEGO and Sonic will finally become a full theme this year after a LEGO Ideas set and a whole LEGO Dimensions level based on the franchise. Promobricks.de reported about a month ago that the rumoured LEGO 'Lemon' Gaming theme would be based on everyone's favourite hedgehog with a total of five sets for the theme. These range from the set number 76990 to 76994 with a rumoured release date of August 2023. Unlike the LEGO Super Mario theme, all of these sets will be Minifigure scale allowing them to be combined with last year's LEGO Sonic set. This was the LEGO Ideas set of 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone which included iconic loops and jumps, many rings and a couple of enemies like Dr Eggman. Each of the new sets will include a launcher build allowing Sonic or other Minifigures to get up to speed in a clear LEGO ball that'll be included. This can be fired around the course making it very playable rather than the Ideas set which was more of a display model. There's also the possibility some of the bigger sets may include other interesting features as there is a total of at least five releasing in 2023 for the theme. But it turns out that there not the only LEGO Sonic sets coming in 2023. This is because Promobricks.de are reporting that LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Brickheadz will most likely appear this year too. These will most likely be based on iconic characters like Sonic, Tails, Dr Eggman and Shadow making them similar to the recent LEGO Lord of the Rings sets. No release date, set numbers or anything else about the LEGO Brickheadz are confirmed with it being stated that this is only a small rumour. But as we head closer to the Summer of 2023 more and more LEGO Brickheadz sets should be rumoured for 2023 and a brand new set number may appear for Sonic and his friends.
