Ariel and her friends will be returning to LEGO form in 2023 as he and many more characters join the Disney 100 celebrations in today's set reveal. However, this time Ariel will be based on her appearance in the new live-action film in both Minifigure form and minidoll form. But in this set of 43213 The Little Mermaid Storybook she'll be appearing in her Minidoll form along with Prince Eric and Ursula.
And as the name suggests, it is another Storybook adventure set which has been seen with many Disney princess sets but other films and series like Peter Pan. In 43213 the book can be opened up to basically three sections. The first is Ariel's hideout with Sebastian included along with all her treasures that she's found in the ocean. We then move on to a small section of Eric's castle which uses mainly white and gold pieces.
Finally, we have Ursula's liar which is indicated by the purple section of the book. Here there are many different books, potions, the contract and other evil things which can be seen in the film itself. This makes for a fairly good LEGO Disney Storybook set which will retail for the usual price of $19.99 with 134 pieces releasing on 1st May 2023.
