The official reveals of LEGO Disney 100 sets just keep on coming as we now have official pictures of 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons. The 6+ Disney set will be another Summer release as it'll retail for $59.99 with 1,022 pieces once it releases on 1st June 2023. The name may not suggest it but this LEGO Disney set is very similar to LEGO Art sets but for the younger audience.
The set features 12 8x8 plates, a picture frame and hanger elements, and loads of tiles to build up to 12 icons at once. These cover a range of Disney characters to be brick built including Mickey, Belle, Olaf, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and many more iconic Disney characters. There are also a couple of different Disney-like patterns and a Disney 100 pattern celebrating this big occasion for the franchise.
Along with these many brick-built designs, 43221 is also the first ever LEGO Art set to include a Minifigure with this being another variant of Mickey Mouse: Painter Mickey. He includes a new torso and legs along with a paintbrush and a pallet. Overall though, this makes for a great set with a total of 1,022 pieces retailing at a relatively good price for LEGO Art and Disney sets of $59.99 once it releases on 1st June 2023.
