With three LEGO D2C 18+ sets being officially revealed over the last few days it won't be long until we get official images of our next LEGO D2C set. In particular, this is another 18+ celebratory Disney 100 set of 43222 The Disney Castle. 43222 is a remake of 2016s The Disney Castle but in a much bigger form which makes it the biggest LEGO Disney set ever with 4,837 pieces and a price tag of $339.99. This is $50 more expensive than 2016s LEGO Disney Castle but with 800 more pieces making it well worth that $400 price tag. Compared to the 2016 version, 2023s Disney 100 version will be a lot more colourful with a lot more hints of gold and blue along with an expanded interior and more in-depth interior. There are also brick-built fireworks coming out of the top of the towers, signifying the big celebration taking place throughout 2023 for Disney These will allow the 12 Minifigures to fully enjoy the D2C with many rooms and iconic scenes from the Disney franchise. Currently, two Minifigures are unconfirmed but we do know that Snow White, Prince Florian, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Princess Aurora, Prince Philip, Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Princess Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. We expect the other two to also be Belle and Beast especially as Gaston is in another LEGO Disney 100 set. This makes for a great set celebrating a great occasion for Disney. As already mentioned, 43222 will release on 1st July 2023 for $399.99 in the next few days especially as we now have this leaked image shown below. The next wave of LEGO Marvel sets for the summer have already been officially revealed but the set that LEGO Marvel fans are looking forward to the most is still a couple of months away. This in particular is the next LEGO Marvel D2C and the biggest so far of 76269 Avengers Tower. The tower itself has been implemented as a playset in LEGO form many times but this $525 implementation will be something completely different. And not only will it retail for that large price tag of $524.99, but it'll also include a large number of pieces at 5,261 in total. Unsurprisingly a large amount of Minifigures will also be included in this D2C mainly based on Avengers: Age of Ultron. Brick Clicker is reporting that a total of 22 Minifigures will be included in the set. 9 of these are exclusive to the 18+ set whilst the other 13 are reuses but we will also be getting an exclusive Antman microfigure. The 9 exclusive Minifigures are two Iron Man suits, Hulk as a big fig, Vision, Falcon, Wasp, Ultron, Hawkeye and Helen Cho. And the 13 reused Minifigures are Thor, four Chitauris, Tony Stark, Captain America, Black Widow, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Pepper Pots, Nick Fury and Wong. Even though the majority of these Minifigures are from Age of Ultron, some will be based on other MCU films like the rest of the set which is covered in MCU references. Further details including the exact list of outfits and prints of Minifigures and the different rooms included inside the tower are unknown but the set will be a big one. We also expect the set to include technic pin connections so that it's compatible with other LEGO Marvel modular. And it's likely to be one of the best and biggest LEGO sets of the year, especially with its Black Friday release on the 24th of November 2023. Yesterday we had the official reveal of the next LEGO Icons set of 10320 Eldorado Fortress but we've now had another official reveal of a LEGO Icons 18+ set. In particular, this is the previously leaked 10315 Tranquil Garden which is a brand new style of LEGO set. 10315 is another adult-targeted LEGO set encouraging mindful building of a beautiful display set perfect for the home or the office. The Tranquil Garden is another $100 LEGO Icons set with 1,363 pieces retailing for $109.99. The small brick-built garden is on a 32cm wide black frame with four black feet to make it slightly taller. The main build of the garden is a Minifigure scale corner pagoda that has a removable roof. Inside there are a couple of accessories still themed with the calming yet beautiful 18+ set. A small stream runs through the diorama with a small curvey red bridge allowing access to both sides of the build. The other side of the build includes various plants with the main ones being two large cherry trees with their bright pink leaves giving the set some lovely colours. There's also bamboo and various conifers which can all be moved around on the diorama to display the set in your own unique way. Our fourth LEGO Ideas set of the year has been officially revealed and it fits perfectly with Disney 100 year anniversary celebrations. 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage has been officially revealed with it set to appear in stores from 4th July 2023. Like most recent LEGO Ideas sets it's easily over $100 and over $200 this time as well with a retail price of $229.99 for the 18+ set with 2,316 pieces. The set is based on the first Hocus Pocus film which released in 1993 but with the second film having released just last year, it's likely interest in this set will be high once it releases on 4th July 2023. Already fans have been really pleased with what they've been seeing of the spooky witch's house which is 27cm high, 26cm wide and 24cm deep. The cottage can be opened in multiple ways for easy viewing of the interior details and all the playable functions. This includes the museum gift shop, a cauldron with a LEGO light brick to illuminate the fire underneath, the Book of Spells and the witches’ bat-infested bedroom. If you detach the side room where Dani Dennison was captured by the witches and turn the water wheel outside then you can make pink ‘smoke’ puff out of the chimney. Along with the extremely detailed cottage with detachable roofs and front, there's a great Minifigure lineup introducing new prints and recolours. The six Minifigures are Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, Mary Sanderson, Max Dennison, Dani Dennison and Allison Watts, plus a Thackery Binx (in cat form) figure. The latest LEGO Icons set has been officially revealed and with it comes a wave of nostalgia for us older LEGO fans. This is because 10320 Eldorado Fortress is a modern 18+ remake of the LEGO Pirates set 6276 Eldorado Fortress. The set was first released in 1989 but this one which will release on 7th July 2023 including loads more pieces but fewer big pieces and more modern complicated modern techniques, showing the 30+ years of changes. As already mentioned, with the original set being so old this new set has had many changes yet still looks similar to the original. The fortress is still mainly white and yellow and built on a small island as shown by the hints of sand and the blue sea baseplate. One of the new features of the set is the modular-like design as the set can be opened up and moved about in any way to allow better playability and better ways of displaying the 18+ set. Inside there are many cool play features and mysteries with the fortress expanding from the top of the two all the way down to the deepest dungeons. There's a playable trap door, the Admiral's office with a map and candle, a working crane holding the treasure chest, a prison cell for the pirates and a lookout with a cannon. Many areas of scenery are also included like large palm trees and vines with many areas of the fortress being built into the rocks. The set also includes two boats. One is a rowboat for the pirates to get a swift getaway while the other is a large ship with printed fabric sails. But of course, such a large set that will retail for $214.99 with 2,509 pieces isn't complete without a great Minifigure lineup. Eldorado Fortress includes a total of eight Minifigures, 6 imperial soldiers along with 2 pirates whilst a skeleton, a monkey, a parrot and some crabs are also included. Our second LEGO Advent Calendar of 2023 has been officially revealed with it being one of LEGO's own themes LEGO Friends. This years LEGO Friends advent calendar is once again very generic but includes a couple of Minidolls and 231 pieces retailing for $34.99. And like all LEGO Advent Calendars, the set's release is still a couple of months away as it'll be available from 1st September 2023 - plenty of time before Christmas. The first and only set releasing in the summer for the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme has been officially revealed with it being a very familiar build. This is because 31144 Exotic Pink Parrot is a recolour of Marchs 31136 Exotic Parrot. The original parrot had a blue and yellow colour scheme but the new parrot releasing on 1st August 2023 a more vibrant pink and light blue colour scheme. Both sets, being LEGO Creator 3in1 sets, include two more builds in the $19.99 price. For the 253 pieces included, you can also build a pink frog and a pink fish. The frog has moveable legs allowing it to be posed in many different positions. Meanwhile, the fish includes a small underwater scene using more of the pieces that are included in the original Parrot build. The LEGO City theme is not done for 2023 just yet as another three sets have been revealed for a 1st August 2023 release. But these aren't just any old LEGO City sets as all three sets are based on the LEGO latest video game 2K Drive. The sets reflect the different vehicles that can be found in the game and have been made in brick-built form allowing customization and play in both the digital world and the real world. The three sets are 60395 Combo Race Pack, 60396 Modified Race Cars and 60397 Monster Truck Race. Across all three sets, we get a total of seven new vehicles perfect for both sea and land as 60395 includes a blue speedboat. That set also includes a red sports car and a yellow SUV but the more fun builds occur in 60396 and 60397. After the recent release of the huge LEGO D2C set of 76252 Batcave - Shadow Box, we now have one of the smallest LEGO DC sets of the year. In particular, this is the previously rumoured polybag of 30653 Batman 1992 which will retail for $4.99 with 40 pieces. Unsurprisingly, not much is included in the polybag apart from the new 1992 version of Batman and a small stone gargoyle build for him to stand on. This makes it a cheap way to get the new Batman Minifigure but the polybag will only be available in select stores like most LEGO polybags usually are. The next wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets are now available the most anticipated set for the theme is still a couple of months away. In particular, this is the second LEGO Harrt Potter D2C of 2023 of 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The 18+ Gringotts Bank has now been rumoured for some time but thanks to Brick Clicker on Instagram we have more information about the set before its 1st September 2023 releases. 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank will be Minifigure scale making it fully compatible with Diagon Alley from a couple of years ago. $439.99 is a high price for just one corner Modular Building and that's because it will also include the underground rail system along with a rail cart. The Gringotts building can be detached from the minecart system that sits beneath it so that it can be directly connected 75978 Diagon Alley. This also means that the minecart system itself can be played with and displayed separately but it still included in the $430 set. A drop down feature will also be included so that the minecarts can properly get some speed before zooming around all the vaults. Along with Gringotts Bank itelf and the minecart system, we will also get a brick built version of the Ironbelly Dragon. This will basically make three separate models in just one set, making up that high piece count of 4,807. And of course as the set is Minifigure scale a large amount of Minifigures will be included. Currently, a total of 13 will be included in 76417 with around 3-5 exclusive Minifigures along with the usual trio. Three LEGO Ideas sets have released so far in 2023 with a fourth one just a couple of weeks away with 21341 Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sister Cottage. However, even more 18+ sets will be coming for the theme later on in the year including the highly anticipated Orient Express. This is because Promobricks.de is reporting that set number 21344 will be the Orient Express retailing for $299.99 with 2,540 pieces. Brick-built LEGO trains have been a neglected part of the LEGO universe but LEGO seems to finally be expanding into this popular market. This will still be a couple of months away as 21344 Orient Express will release on 1st November 2023 with an official reveal expected in October. Like many LEGO Ideas sets and LEGO 18+ sets in general, the set will most likely be exclusive to LEGO to begin but will be more widely available a few months later. As already mentioned, the LEGO Ideas set will include a total of 2,540 pieces which may sound like a lot but it is actually 455 pieces fewer than the original fan submission. This had a total of 2,995 pieces which suggests that the huge difference could be due to the tracks. The LEGO Orient Express model is supposed to fit on regular LEGO rails so a possibility could be that the set includes a couple of LEGO rails for the train to run on. However, even if it can run on LEGO rails and these pieces are included, it is expected to not include any motorized elements. Instead, these will have to be purchased separately but should allow the designers to keep one of the biggest LEGO Ideas set at that $299.99 price point. It may still be quite a few months until the release of Ther Marvel's film but LEGO will still be releasing a set to coincide with the film. The set has been rumoured for a fair months now but it still is the set number 76232 with an unknown name still. However, we do have more information about the set including its retail price of $89.99 with 420 pieces. And yes that is a ridiculous price for such a small amount of pieces but luckily LEGO will be including at least four Minifigures. These are unsurprisingly Monica Rambeau, Ms Marvel and Captain America along with Yan D'Aladna who will appear in LEGO form for the first time. This and more should be included in the $90 set which will release on 1st July 2023 with the film releasing on 10th November 2023. The summer wave of LEGO Friends has just been released but another set has been officially revealed for the theme for a 1st September 2023 release. In particular, this is a winter-themed set of 41760 Igloo Holiday Adventure which will retail for $49.99 with a total of 491 pieces. Unsurprisingly, the set is a brick-built Igloo house in the middle of a winter wonderland-like build. The door along with the igloo dome can be opened for easy play and access to a cosy interior for the LEGO Friends Minidolls. In particular, it'll be a great opportunity for Paisley, her little sister Ella and her friend Aliya to relax in the mountain landscape as all three are included as Minidolls in this $50 set. Along with the igloo, there's that little winter wonderland build of a steam pool right next to more snow and snow-covered trees. There’s also a seating area, fairy lights, a fire pit and a range of warm food and drinks including hot chocolate and cookies. The last build is a small sledge which is controlled by two identical sledge dogs allowing easy movement through the snowy LEGO mountains. The summer wave of LEGO Friends has just been released but another set has been officially revealed for the theme for a 1st September 2023 release. In particular, this is a winter-themed set of 41756 Holiday Ski Slope and Cafe which will retail for $79.99 with a total of 980 pieces. Unsurprisingly, the main build of the set is the cafe with a beautiful winter ski slope sat on top of it. The slope includes the starting point for the skiers along with many snow-covered trees and a few patches of ice. Some wooden stairs lead up to the ski slope which match the cafe's architecture perfectly. Inside the cafe, there are the usual things from seats and tables to hot chocolates and cookies. The interior may not be the biggest ever but it makes for a cute scene with more space upstairs where skis and sledges are stored. In the $80 set a total of three Minidolls are included of Liann, Zac and Aaron all with snowboards, skis and helmets. LEGO's latest licensed theme has already had four sets revealed but we now have official pictures of the fifth and final set of the August 2023 wave. This is 76993 Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman's Death Egg Robot which is a proper middle ground set in terms of both its price and what's included in the set. Like the other four sets, it will release on 1st August 2023 but for $59.99 with 615 pieces and two Minifigures. Sadly these two Minifigures are not exclusive and both Sonic and Dr Eggman can be found in other sets in this wave. But Eggman's giant brick-built Death Egg Robot can't which is the main build of the set in its red and yellow colour scheme. The robot is fully moveable with space for Eggman to sit inside and a couple of weapons to attack Sonic in his ball which is another main play feature of the set.
