It's been known for some time now that a brand new LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship is coming later this year but we now have further information about the set. The Republic Gunship still comes under the set number 75354 and will still be a brand new playable Public Gunship coming after more than 10 years since the last playable one once this one releases on 1st September 2023. The set seems to be based on the ship's appearance on the planet of Coruscant which has appeared in recent Star Wars shows such as The Mandalorian. This doesn't mean we'll get any features from the planet but it does mean that it is not based on a scene where all the clones are featured. It also means that the Republic Gunship will be painted diplomatic red with some hints of white. For a total of 1,083 pieces and a retail price of $139.99, the Gunship will include lockable doors, shooting mechanisms and a Minifigure-friendly interior. In particular, the Minifigures will be Chancellor Palpatine in a red robe with a skirt, Clone Commander Fox also in red and two of his Coruscant Shock Troopers. Finally, Padme Amidala will also be included in this set most likely in an exclusive variant for that hefty $140 price point. Set Information Set Name - Coruscant Republic Gunship Set Number - 75354 Ages - 12+ Piece Count - 1,083 Price - $139.99 Release Date - 1st September 2023

It's another week and we already have another official reveal of a brand-new LEGO Disney 100 set. In particular, this is the previously rumoured 43230 A Homage to Walt Disney which includes Walt Disney's iconic camera in brick-built form. The beautifully designed set makes for a beautiful display piece which retails for $99.99 with 811 pieces from 1st September 2023. Obviously, the vintage camera takes up most of the build but the camera also includes a brown stand, a film reel which includes prints of iconic Disney characters in LEGO form, a brick-built Disney 100 logo a small crank. There's also a clapperboard-inspired minifigure display stand for the Minifigures of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to sit on which are all included in the $99.99 set along with exclusive pieces of Bambi and Dumbo. Set Information Set Name - A Homage to Walt Disney Set Number - 43230 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 811 Price - $99.99 Release Date - 1st September 2023

The release of the highly anticipated Ahoska Disney+ series is now closer than ever and with that so are the LEGO sets based on the series. We currently know that 75357, 75362 and 75364 are all based on the series but the latter of these is the most mysterious of the three. According to Reddit user FluffySky6, the set 75364 'will be at least somewhat New Republic focused'. Luckily, we now have more information than just a couple of theories and rumours as it is now confirmed the set is new republic based but in particular will be a Republic Ship. We assume the ship will be present at some point during the Ahsoka show and then we'll find out its real name but for now, the set is called 'Ahsoka Republic Ship'. And this makes sense considering its fairly high piece count at 1,056 pieces and price of $109.99. And for $109.99, the set will include a total of five Minifigures. These include Republic-based figures like a Republic pilot dressed in blue and white, and an Astromech droid in dark blue with yellow markings and a yellow head. Along with these two, there's the Jedi Morgan Elsbeth in a red robe, Baylan with a white beard and black robes and finally his student Shin in a dark tan outfit with shoulder-length blonde hair. Set Information Set Name - *Ahsoka Republic Ship* Set Number - 75364 Ages - 9+ Piece Count - 1,056 Price - $109.99 Release Date - 1st September 2023

After the recent release of 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage, another 18+ LEGO Ideas set is not many months away. In particular, this is 21342 Insects which will release on 4th September 2023 as a collection of brick-built insects. The colourful collection of insects will most likely i nclude a honey bee, a praying mantis, a butterfly and two beetles all at a reasonable brick-built scale. These were previously included in the original submission and we expect LEGO to just add further details, prints and cool building techniques to this LEGO Ideas set. And if that sounds good so does the price as for a total of 1,111 pieces, the set will retail for $79.99. Set Information Set Name - Insects Set Number - 21342 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,111 Price - $79.99 Release Date - 4th September 2023

We've already had an official reveal of most of this year's summer 2023 LEGO Super Mario wave but another one has now been officially revealed for 1st August 2023. In particular, this is Larry's and Morton's Airships Expansion Set giving us a brand new brick-built Koopaling. The LEGO Super Mario expansion set which isn't tied to any subtheme like the Donkey Kong sets will retail for $79.99 with 1,062 pieces. That's a fairly good price with just over 1,000 pieces with a total of three brick-built characters of the koopalings Larry and Morton and a pirate Goomba. This fits perfectly with the builds of the set which are two airships taken into battle to defeat LEGO Mario, Luigi and Peach. There's the ability for these Digfigs to interact with different tiles in order to make the ships fly and defeat these brick-built enemies. Set Information Set Name - Larry's and Morton's Airships Expansion Set Set Number - 71427 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 1,062 Price - $79.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

After the official reveal of 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man just the other day, another LEGO Art set has been officially revealed. Just like 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man, the LEGO Art set of 31210 Modern Art will release on 1st August 2023 for a much smaller price of $49.99. For that $50 price tag, the set will include a total of 805 pieces making it one of the smallest LEGO Art sets so far. As you can tell from the price and piece count, this is a new kind of LEGO Art set with much bigger pieces no longer covering a big mosaic-like design. Instead, different-sized pieces including different shapes and curves are used to create different forms of abstract and modern art. This brick-built art style takes inspiration from many famous artists allowing you to recreate their famous pieces into a very colourful and creative brick-built form. Set Information Set Name - Modern Art Set Number - 31210 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 805 Price - $49.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

The LEGO Icons theme has many subthemes and one of the most popular amongst adult LEGO fans is the brick-built vehicles subtheme. And we now have a brand new set for this subtheme as LEGO have officially revealed the LEGO Icons set of 10321 Corvette. Unsurprisingly, the $149.99 is a brick-built version of the Chevrolet Corvette C1 but in a beautiful red colour scheme. This impressive replica model comes with an array of authentic features, including an opening hood and trunk, a detailed engine bay with a spinning radiator fan and working tie-rod steering. The roof can be removed to access the detailed interior with brake, clutch and gas pedals, gear shift, radio, rearview mirror and working steering. For $149.99, it is a very costly 18+ set but this is mainly due to different shaped pieces included in the 1,210 pieces including that new windshield element. The set also includes two different number plates allowing further customization from either a coupé with a hardtop or a convertible. Overall, it makes for a great set for an ever-expanding LEGO Icons theme once it releases on 1st August 2023. Set Information Set Name - Corvette Set Number - 10321 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,210 Price - $149.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

LEGO Marvel has continued to expand throughout 2023 with its wide range of sets but so too has the LEGO DC theme. LEGO DC has often been a forgotten theme by LEGO but this has ever so slightly changed this year with the release of five sets and a polybag for theme. The biggest and probably the best for the theme is the D2C of 76252 Batcave - Shadow Box which retails for $399.99. You might think this price is high for a D2C but the LEGO Marvel D2C for the year is even more expensive with 76269 Avengers Tower retailing for $524.99 But this does have a grand total of 5,261 pieces with at least 20 Minifigures included with just less than half being exclusive. This 18+ set will release on 24th November 2023 making it one of the last sets of 2023. Another set that will release at the end of this year is the usual LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar which is this year 76267 Avengers Advent Calendar. This will release on 1st September 2023, a month after the August wave of sets for the LEGO Marvel theme which includes a whole range of sets. LEGO Marvel and LEGO Art will be joining forces once again in 2023 as a brand new LEGO Art set will be releasing in the summer. Similar to 31199 Marvel Studios Iron Man, Spider-Man will also be made into a brick-built mosaic with 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man which has been rumoured for some months now. But after the leak the other day, LEGO has today gone head and officially revealed the LEGO Art set of 31209. However, unlike 31199 Marvel Studios Iron Man but more similar to recent LEGO Art sets, 31209 is not in the usual classic mosaic style. Instead, Spider-Man's entire body stands out 3D-like against the dark and light green covered background This makes it feel like a comic book, especially with his head and also his hands, which even clutch the build's white frame, properly coming out of the build. The red and blue superhero takes up most of the LEGO Art set but in the background, there are many bits of white to represent a large cobweb and a range of Minifigure-sized spiders. There's even a printed tile with 'The Amazing Spider-Man' logo to round off the 2,099 piece set which will retail for $199.99 from 1st August 2023. Set Information Set Name - The Amazing Spider-Man Set Number - 31209 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 2,099 Price - $199.99 Release Date - 1st August 2023

There are then three sections of the set. In the middle, there's a Minnie Mouse head-shaped gate with two big ears and a red box plus an old-style cinema floodlight and a little chair with popcorn for Mickey to watch the film. Then to the left, there's a buildable 100 sign along with two balloons and a cake. After the reveal of a LEGO Disney 100 set yesterday, we finally have official images of one of the most anticipated LEGO Disney sets of the year. In particular, this is another 18+ celebratory Disney 100 set of 43222 Disney Castle. 43222 is a remake of 2016s The Disney Castle but in a much bigger form which makes it the biggest LEGO Disney set ever with 4,837 pieces and a price tag of $339.99. This is $50 more expensive than 2016s LEGO Disney Castle but with 800 more pieces making it well worth that $400 price tag. Compared to the 2016 version, 2023s Disney 100 version is a lot more colourful with a lot more hints of gold and blue along with an expanded interior and more in-depth interior. There are also brick-built fireworks coming out of the top of the towers, signifying the big celebration taking place throughout 2023 for Disney. These will allow the eight Minifigures to fully enjoy the D2C with many rooms and iconic scenes from the Disney franchise. These Minifigures include Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, Prince Florian, Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder. All of these characters can interact with the many play features included such as the spinning dance floor in the grand ballroom and an ‘enchanted’ fireplace that rotates to reveal the iconic spinning wheel from the Sleeping Beauty film. However, there's much more than just those play features included in the 80cm high castle with the likes of a Kitchen hinting at Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel's painting, many new prints and more. This makes for a great set celebrating a great occasion for Disney. 43222 Disney Castle will release on 1st July 2023 for LEGO VIPs and 4th July 2023 still at that $400 price tag. We also expect a LEGO Disney 100 Gift With Purchase to be available at some point during July so keep that in mind when planning your LEGO Disney and LEGO purchases... While we all eagerly await the release of the next LEGO Disney D2C of 43222 The Disney Castle, another new LEGO Disney set has been officially revealed. This set once again continues with the 100 years of Disney celebrations with a brand new Diorama build aimed at those ages 10 and up. In particular, it's 43232 Peter Pan & Wendy's Flight over London which will see the return of Peter Pan in LEGO Minifigure form. But he isn't the only Minifigure in the $59.99 set as Tinker Bell also returns along with Wendy. These characters fit perfectly with the scene that's displayed here. Our three characters are flying through London at night with a dark background and small yellow stars indicating this. The main build in the diorama itself is Big Ben which is surrounded by a couple of houses, the river Thames and more. The 10+ diorama build measures 22cm high and 14 cm wide with it being all contained in the usual black base which comes with an exclusive Disney 100 print. Altogether this makes for a great set which is a little on the pricey side at $59.99 for only 466 pieces but it is a great display model which will release on 1st September 2023.
