After the release of the next wave of LEGO Star Wars sets in March 2022, it's inevitable that some older sets from the theme will soon retire. We now have more information about LEGOs retirement plan for the LEGO Star Wars theme with our information going up to 2024 with more details set to come out as the year goes on.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Star Wars sets that were released in 2021 will definitely have retired at the end of 2024.
Any LEGO Star Wars D2C sets usually last quite a few years and always last longer than the smaller more widely available sets. However, we'd recommend getting any retiring D2C's as soon as possible as these will quickly increase in price and go for a hefty amount of money in a few years.
