After the recent reveal of the next LEGO City set, 60352 LEGO City 2022 Advent Calendar, coming on 1st September 2022, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have more information about LEGO's retirement plan for the LEGO City theme with our information going up to 2024 but as brand new sets come next year it's likely we'll find further information about 2024 and 2025.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and next year, including two rumoured sets of 60356 and 60358, and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO City sets that were released in 2021 will definitely have retired at the end of 2024.
