LEGO Valentine's Day Set 40886 Penguins in Love GWP Officially Revealed | 29th January 2026

Love is in the air with the latest LEGO Gift With Purchase, as the Danish toy manufacturers have officially revealed 40886 Penguins in Love. The 8+ model is this year's Valentine's Day GWP, keeping with the theme of brick-built animals around the 14th of February, after last year's 40821 Love Bears and 40824 Sweetheart Tweety Bird. The promotional item is available from the 29th of January to the 6th of February 2026 with all LEGO purchases over $80.

40886 recreates a small scene with two brick-built penguins, positioned very close to each other, in love. Each penguin is coloured the classic mix of black and white, but in a cartoon-like appearance similar to 2025s 40821 Love Bears. Their faces may feature 1x1 printed love heart eyes and small orange beaks, with the penguin on the left holding a pastel blue fish from his beak.

The two brick-built penguins with movable wings are placed on a small sheet of floating ice in the shape of a love heart. Here we can find the outline of the cold Antarctic sea along with patches of snow and dirt. A couple of grey pebbles can also be found here for the penguins to gift each other and showcase their love. Finally, a transparent rod with three LEGO heart pieces can also be found in 278 piece model.
