Only two LEGO Technic sets releasing on 1st March 2024 haven't been officially revealed yet with both of these being Mercedes-based. The first of these we've already of covered 42171 Mercedes Formula 1 Race Car but the other is a fairly recent listing. In particular, this is 42165 Mercedes Pullback Race Car, retailing for a much lower price compared to 42171 at $26.99 for a total of 240 pieces.
We've already seen a brand new Pullback vehicle from the LEGO Technic theme in 2024 of 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car. This too retailed for $26.99 but we don't expect 42165 to be an Extreme E Race Car. Instead, the 7+ rated set is likely to be a generic race car from the German car brand of Mercedes. Alternatively, LEGO could delve into other racing categories such as Touring Cars which Mercedes compete in.
