We've already seen official images of 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer but another nine sets are expected to launch on the 1st of August 2024 for the LEGO Star Wars theme. 2024 represents not only 25 years since the launch of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace but also 25 years since the release of the first-ever LEGO Star Wars model. The celebrations continue in this wave with three exclusive celebratory Minifigures in three separate sets.
We've already seen one of these anniversary Minifigures in 75394 with this being our first-ever Carl Kestis figure. The other two anniversary Minifigures releasing on the 1st of August 2024 are Nien Nunb and Young Leia. Nien comes in 75396 Escape From The Sarlacc Pit which is a Minifigure heavy set perfect to go alongside 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge which releases in October. Meanwhile, Young Leia comes under the set number 75392 which is reportedly an unknown buildable figure.
Also a part of the celebrations in 2024 is a brand new four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. The Disney+ series airs on the 13th of September 2024 with three of the nine sets launching on the 1st of August 2024 directly tieing in with the new miniseries. These are 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter, 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon and 75393 X-Wing VS TIE Fighter.
75385 Battle Of Peridia is based off another Disney+ series but this time one that aired back in 2023 of the highly popular Ahsoka. She's included in this $55 set along with Ezra Bridger, Morgan Elizabeth, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Enoch. Another buildable character is also included in this action-packed wave with it this time being C-3PO in 75398 Buildable C-3PO. This 18+ model will retail for $139.99 with 1,138 pieces.
That leaves us with our final two sets which are the most likely sets of the wave to not release in August and are instead either delayed or entirely cancelled. The first of these is 75374 Onyx Cinder which is based on the upcoming Skeleton Crew series. The show only has a release date of 2024 even though 75374 was originally meant to release in January. And 75399 Microscale Jedi Temple has had only the faintest of rumours suggesting it could very likely not exist at all.
