LEGO Star Wars 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor Rumoured For May 2024

Whilst we eagerly await the next LEGO Star Wars UCS set of 75367 UCS Venator Star Destroyer, we have our first information on a 2024 UCS set. In particular, it's the first UCS LEGO Star Wars set of the year releasing on 1st May 2024 in order to celebrate Star Wars Day on 4th May 2024. And next years Star Wars Day UCS will come under the set number 75382 and will be a remake of a TIE Interceptor.

75382 UCS TIE Interceptor will revisit an older UCS set of 2000s 7181 TIE Interceptor. This set was one of the first LEGO UCS sets and so 2024s Ultimate Collector Series version of the TIE Interceptor is likely to be very different. Yet it will still include some of the most unique features of the TIE Interceptor such as it being one of the lightest, fastest and most responsive starfighter in the Star Wars universe.

Currently, we don't know the amount of pieces included in 75382 but we do know it will retail for $239.99 when it releases on 1st May 2024. This also indicates that it will be way bigger than 2000s 7181 TIE Interceptor which only included 703 pieces at a much lower price. And if 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor follows on from last year's May the Fourth UCS set then we can expect two Minifigures included with one definitely being a TIE Pilot.
