The LEGO Speed Champions theme has had a busy year, with March alone featuring the release of a total of 10 Formula 1-inspired sets. In 2026, however, the theme will move away from F1 and return to its usual mix of branded cars along with even more movie cars. And this time, it's not just movie cars based on Fast & Furious, like last year's 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000, but two brand-new franchises to the theme...
77252 TBC LEGO Speed Champions
The first entry on this list is, unfortunately, the most mysterious, with the only information known so far being that the set number 77252 will be released on the 1st of January 2026. Interestingly, however, this mysterious set is branded as a 10+ model, unlike the other five sets, which are all aimed at builders aged 9 and older.

77253 brings the sleek and futuristic Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo to brick-built LEGO form. The LEGO version will capture these elements in the usual eight-stud wide form, retailing for $27.99 / €26.99 / £22.99.

77255 Lightning McQueen
For the first time ever, Disney Pixar's Cars franchise will be appearing in the LEGO Speed Champions theme with an eight-stud wide recreation of Lightning McQueen. The iconic racing character has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form before, particularly with 2011's 8484 Ultimate Build Lightning McQueen. That build was 10 studs wide, a lot less sleek in design and didn't get the proportions exactly right, so expect a much more detailed and updated build in 2026.

Just like 77255 Lightning McQueen, the DeLorean has already appeared in brick-built LEGO form, most recently as a display-worthy LEGO Icons model of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine. In 2026, however, the DeLorean will be completely Minifigure scale, including the vehicle's iconic time-travelling features.
