LEGO Speed Champions 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Rumoured For March 2024

One of the few unlicensed successful LEGO themes is expanding further as we now have more information about one of the four sets releasing for the LEGO Speed Champions theme. This is a double car pack of 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 retailing for the now normal price of $49.99. Along with three other LEGO Speed Champions sets, 76922 will release on 1st March 2024.

The build of the two cars themselves has little information but, like with all sets releasing next year, they'll carry on being eight studs wide. It'll also most likely just include two generic Minifigures, one for each car, in a custom-designed BMW racing suit. As this will be the first LEGO Speed Champions BMW set it'll be interesting to get our first-ever licensed BMW Minifigures with brand-new torsos and legs.

The BMW M4 GT3 is BMWs latest GT3 car which succeeds the BMW M6 GT3. The biggest improvements between the two cars are the M4's driveability, cost efficiency and operation which has allowed the car to be used by more amateur drivers. However, LEGO will aim to produce it in its most supercar-like form with its large spoiler and striking livery of a black base and hints of white, blue and red.

The second car meanwhile, the BMW M Hybrid V8, is a sports prototype racing car designed by BMW M and built by Dallara. The vehicle which will be coming in brick-built form on 1st March 2024, will allow BMW M Motorsport to return to the international prototype racing stage with a striking car that includes a bunch of aerodynamic tweaks and angles to improve overall performance and speed.
