LEGO Pokémon 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection GWP Officially Revealed | 27th February 2026

Along with the three 18+ sets marking the start of LEGO and Pokémon's multi-year partnership, a Pokémon-themed Gift With Purchase will also be available starting from the 27th of February 2026. In particular, this is 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection GWP, which includes 312 pieces and is available exclusively with the incredible $649.99 / €649.99 / £579.99 model of 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise.

In fact, 40892 can be obtained now when you pre-order 72153 from LEGO shop@home. However, this is very limited, with only a certain amount available for each country. The LEGO Group have assured fans, nevertheless, that the LEGO Pokémon promotional item will once again return when 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise actually hit shelves on the 27th of February 2026.

But away from all the threshold and availability stress, the 18+ GWP literally recreates an openable display case containing the Gym badges from the Kanto region. The badges belonging to the Boulder, Cascade, Thunder, Rainbow, Soul, Marsh, Volcano and Earth Kanto regions are all included inside the case, each with a unique shape and colour.

All eight badges can be removed from the box, which closes with a cleverly designed Poké Ball-inspired latch. The rest of the exterior of the box is mainly coloured with a couple of diagonal lines of navy blue and transparent plates on the top to offer a consistent look at the badges inside. The 2026 Gift With Purchase and its 312 pieces measures over 1 inch (3 cm) high, 7.5 inches (19 cm) wide and 4 inches (10 cm) deep.
