We are well into LEGO NINJAGO's 15th anniversary celebrations, but the LEGO Group have revealed the final set directly tied to this incredible milestone for the unlicensed LEGO theme, along with the final exclusive anniversary LEGO Minifigure. In particular, 71867 X-1 Ninja Charger 15th Anniversary has been officially presented ahead of its release on the 1st of June 2026. The 14+ model includes a total of 691 pieces retailing for $89.99 / €79.99 / £69.99.

The build remakes the original version of the X-1 Ninja Charger belonging to the ninja Kai, based on 70727 X-1 Ninja Charger, which was released back in 2014. The 2026 model includes almost 200 more pieces to recreate the vehicle in a classic Kai red colour scheme, along with hints of black and stickers with fire decals.

Compared to both the 2014 version and more recently 2021's 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger, the redesign takes a bold approach more similar to the likes of Formula 1 cars seen in the LEGO Speed Champions theme, with a large, racey rear wing and exposed wheels. The X-1 Ninja Charger also includes an enclosed cockpit alongside the classic motorcycle launching feature.

A total of three LEGO Minifigures are included in the 14+ model: Kai, the villainous General Cryptor and, for the first time, the Elemental Master of Shadow on a stand with a celebration coin. Each of the LEGO NINJAGO characters comes with a sword accessory, while the ninja Kai has an extra sword that can be attached to the car and the motorcycle, which also comes in a mainly red colour scheme.
