LEGO NIKE 43008 NIKE Dunk With Logo & Basketball Rumoured For July 2025

Almost a year after the LEGO Group and the American athletic footwear and apparel brand Nike announced a brand new multi-year partnerships, our first rumours for a range of brick-built LEGO Nike models have hit the LEGO rumour mill. In particular, reports suggest that a total of three Nike-branded LEGO sets will be launching in 2025 with the first of these releasing in just over a months time on the 1st of July 2025.

43008 NIKE Dunk With Logo & Basketball will kick off this partnership in physical LEGO form, which has been eagerly awaited by LEGO fans and sneakerheads since the official announcement in August 2024. The official statement from the two leading brands stated that we would see a "series of co-branded products, content and experiences" combining imagination, creativity, play and sport throughout.

The rumoured 10+ model is the first of these products "celebrating sport and creative play" with 1,180 pieces included at a recommended retail price of $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99. Several builds are included at that $100 price tag, all related to Nike's rich sporting and clothing history.

The first is a detailed brick-built version of the Nike Dunk shoe, most likely designed in a bold red and white colour scheme. Expect plenty of interesting building techniques to create this life-like object with its unique angles and textures. The iconic Nike swoosh will be a prominent feature of the build, which, just like 10282 Adidas Superstar, will be just a single shoe, perfect to display.

The Nike Dunk fun doesn't stop there, however, as we will be getting a brick-built version of the Nike Dunk logo, most likely in a 2D display form. This could possibly be mounted on a small base next to the shoe, allowing both builds to be easily displayed. The third and final build of the set is another model aimed mainly for display, as it's a small but spherical brick-built basketball. Just like the logo, this probably won't be that big, yet still include plenty of orange pieces and black prints to recreate an accurate representation of the ball.

Finally, 43008 and the LEGO Nike partnerships will go a step further than the previous Adidas collaboration and include an exclusive Minifigure. This character will literally be the spirit of fun and creativity as it will have a basketball for a head. Hopefully, exclusive torso and leg printing are included too, with iconic Nike merchandise replicated on our beloved LEGO Minifigures.
