LEGO Minecraft 21591 The Twisted Warden Battle Officially Revealed | August 2026

As part of Minecraft Live this weekend at TwitchCon 2026, the LEGO Group have unexpectedly revealed a brand new Minecraft set for 2026, and likely the last of another busy year for the gaming theme. In particular, this is 21591 The Twisted Warden Battle, which releases later this summer on the 1st of August 2026 alongside the previously revealed 21582 Chicken Jockey.

21591 The Twisted Warden Battle is a rare LEGO Minecraft set based on one of MOJANG Studios' spin-off Minecraft games. The 8+ model is based on Minecraft Dungeons II, which is scheduled to release in late 2026, over six years after the original Minecraft Dungeons became available to gamers around the world.

The LEGO set itself focuses on an entirely brick-built recreation of the Twisted Warden - the primary antagonist and a heavy boss in Minecraft Dungeons 2. Unlike standard Wardens seen in the base game, the LEGO Twisted Warden features articulated spiky limbs and a massive opening jaw right in its torso.

This is the main play feature of the 2026 set, allowing builders to make the figure literally swallow LEGO Minifigures whole. The entire chest area splits apart into a giant mouth, complete with brick-built teeth. You can even see right through the open gap to the other side of the body and what will eventually be filled with Minifigure limbs.

Talking about Minifigures, a total of four are included in 21591 The Twisted Warden Battle to play with if you're a human, but to eat if you're a formidable LEGO Minecraft foe. These figures are the characters Kellen, Ren, Flores, and Valorie, who are all exclusive to 21591 with unique head and torso printing.

These Minecraft Dungeons II characters are equipped with an array of armour, weapons and accessories, including a double axe, a scythe, a cutlass, sickles, and daggers. Finally, A small side build features a classic Minecraft brown treasure chest resting on a small blue plate base. The chest opens up to store LEGO emerald accessory pieces inside.
