A theme which doesn't see many sets release every year but is still extremely popular amongst builders is the licensed LEGO Jurassic World theme. The LEGO theme based on the Jurassic Park franchise started back in 1993 and has already seen a small wave of two sets release on the 1st of January 2024. These were 76963 Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center and 76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull.
The summer wave of LEGO Jurassic World sets sees three more models all release beginning the 1st of June 2024 and have been officially revealed today. Our first of these three models is 76962 Baby Bumpy: Ankylosaurus which, like the other two summer sets, is based on the upcoming Netflix series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. For $24.99 with 358 pieces, 76962 is a cute brick-built version of the popular Ankylosaurus called Bumpy.
Then we have two bigger and more expensive sets of 76965Dinosaur Missions: Stegosaurus Discovery and 76966 Dinosaur Missions: Allosaurus Transport Truck. 76965 retails for $64.99 with 420 pieces along with a brand new sand green mould for the Stegosaurus dinosaur. $89.99 is the price tag for 76966 which makes it the most expensive LEGO Jurassic World set of 2024. 588 pieces are included to recreate a collapsable trailer build and a dark blue and tan moulded Allosaurus figure.
