Alongside the incredible 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, builders, collectors and Middle-earth enthusiasts will be able to pick up a brand new LOTR-themed Gift With Purchase to celebrate what's expected to be easily the biggest LEGO Icons model of 2026.
In particular, alongside the second LEGO The Lord of the Rings set of 2026, 40893 The Lord of the Rings: Grond will be available. The Icons-branded promotional item will be available from the 1st to the 7th of June 2026, exclusively with 11377. However, it will likely last only a couple of days, or even hours, if last year's 40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol GWP is anything to go by.
For those who don't know, Grond is one of the most iconic weapons from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It is the massive battering ram from The Return of the King, with which Sauron's army attempts to destroy the great city gates of Gondor during the siege of Minas Tirith, making it the perfect GWP to go alongside the brick-built LEGO version of the capital city of Gondor, also officially revealed today.
Either way, the build of 40893 The Lord of the Rings: Grond is a literal construction of the wolf-headed battering ram and its supporting mobile siege tower. The signature wolf head design is front and centre of the battering ram with a flame in its mouth, along with chained structural elements supporting the siege weapon. A relatively dull yet accurate colour scheme of brown, grey and black is utilised in the 18+ promotional build, which includes small wheels to actually be moved and simulate an attack on the city gate.
Finally, 40893 and its 307 pieces also include two LEGO Minifigures to go alongside the ten already included in 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith. These are reportedly two generic Mordor Orc Minifigures, but at least one of these orcs features an exclusive face print. Standard weaponry accessories of a bow and a machete also make an appearance.
